  1. ^Disputing right now. I understand what you're saying, but respectfully disagree. They did not cater to CoD fans, all they did was made the game faster paced, and slightly more interesting. And different. Halo games have always been different than the previous, and as much as you all (myself sometimes included) ***** about that, if they made the same Halo game with just different story and different maps, you would all be LIVID. Halo still feels like Halo. Stop denying this. You look ignorant. If you think it's turned into CoD because of 10 Points a kill, load outs, and drop in/out, then screw CoD for copying Halo's multiplayer! Halo 2 did it first! And wait, CoD uses guns?! Halo uses guns! How dare CoD! Also: It's called Slayer Pro, bra. Oh and also: Halo 2 and 3 all had people that would drop out. This game makes it that people can hop in and keep it even. Shut your mouth. Oh and also also: Ordinance is only in like 3 playlists, bra. Also also also: Most every playlist has a set Spawn for weapons. You are stupid, sir.
  2. ^Interestingly enough that was what I noticed first. However, when saying Bungie offered that core standard, that's not entirely true. If you recall Halo 3 (which, for me, was Bungie's Swan Song) introduced SWAT as a double XP weekend playlist. And it was swapped out with Zombies, Griffball, Snipers, 5v5 Obj, Fiesta, etc. Now look at Halo 4. Quite similar, yes?
  3. ^ You miss my point. I understand that. I was on the B.net forums literally hours a day reading everything. Don't assume I know nothing about that. I can tell this game has less negative complaints, but the complaints that ARE here are repedative and redundant. Yes, so were Reach's. But honestly. Making topics like this, and the already-locked "Going back to Reach" topic piss me off. Just stop playing and don't bother those of us who DO love the game for what is, changes and all.
  4. ^ Okay first off, you are wrong. There is a large difference between CURRENT players and players who are playing. There is never the full amount of players on a game. But nice try. There have been well over 4M people online this first week alone. Look, yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I gave him mine. Theres ENOUGH topics comlpaining about the SAME damn thing. And honestly, look, you're a minority. SO many people care about this game, and love it. The few thousand who complain about the same thing over and over are just getting annoying.
  5. Dude, shut the **** up. You are ignorant. If you don't like it, don't make a stupid rant complaining about every detail of the game that doesn't match your pretty little needs compared to the 4 MILLIION+ that actually enjoy the game. Just freaking stop with the complaining topics. So far, I have seen VERY little valid points that are negative towards Halo 4. If you honestly think the game is that ****ty just stop playing it. Simple as that. Don't complain like a little girl. Oh, and FYI: this Halo game feels more like Halo than Halo does.
  6. If you prefer Reach over Halo 4, that explains why you dislike so much about H4. Yes, user interface is bad. There are a few discrepencies. But dude, the game JUST came out. I've never played a game that has swept me off my feet before (Skyrim aside...). The fact you would go back to Reach over 4 proves either a ) You are terrible at Halo (and like you mentioned, have never played a FPS).Y b ) You are not a true Halo fan. c ) You are incapable of adapting to new settings. Get over it. If you were a TRUE Halo fan you would notice the beautiy that surrounds this game. Easily one of the best Halo's in the entire series, yet, you are blinded by Reach's noob-style play and lack of good players. Sorry, but a little offense here; All the good Halo players have come back to the series BECAUSE of this game. What does that mean? Means you'll get shat on by a player with a DMR. Not because it's overpowered, but because they are damn good at this game. Do not confuse buggy games and guns for straight up real Halo players. Go back to Reach. You belong there, nubcakes.
  7. Vehicles have become some-what redundant in this game. Whilst true, that the Plasma pistols ruin them, there also is an abundence of ordinance weapons (rocket, snipe, incinerator, etc.) that also stop vehicle usage. I think the main thing to keep in mind, is while different from past Halo games, we gotta adapt. Sure, vehicles were a blast in H3, while yes, overpowered. And in Reach, they were less-overpowered, but also, destroyed a little easier. Halo 4, seems to be a lot more weapon based now. But... Adapt. Seriously though, you have to adapt to this game. It's the newst Halo, it's the best multiplayer game out there, and deep down, you love it. Nothing will compare to the days of Reach and H3, but we had those days, they were great. It's Halo 4 and 343i's time now, though.
  8. ^ Thousands of youtube videos of really good players, correct. But I highly doubt they only run around with it. And, not only that, I'm fairly certain the OP is not one of those good players.
  9. Oh, is that so? Because in my experience running around with a sniper usually doesn't work well. Camping. Energy sword behind a corner? Camping. Waiting around a corner to find someone you see through promethean vision? Camping. Grow up. "IMO", if you can camp, and beat the living hell out of a team, do it. If you can run and gun and beat the hell out of a team, do it. Who CARES how someone plays Halo. I, personally, run and gun for the most part, but I absolutely camp at times! If I'm on a killing frenzy in SWAT, you can bet your nub little behind that I'll camp out a little to get a little better spree. Because you know why? That's the beauty of Halo you seem to have forgotten. You can play however you want. One last thing for ya - If you honestly hate camping that much, that just shows how much you suck at Halo. Killing campers is BY FAR the easiest thing in this game. If you see someone camping in a room with a shotgun, throw an effing grenade, and one-shot them with a DMR. Use Promethean Vision. Find a better weapon. If you honestly get killed more than once by the same camper - you need to stop playing Halo, or get better. EDIT: Sorry, I forgot. When I play with my buddies (between 4-8 of us), and we're 4 vs another team, we usually have at least one person who will CAMP with a sniper (there is no other way to properly use it unless you're hella good at no-scoping). And we win nearly every game. Don't tell me it shows lack of skill. [/rant] #noob
  10. The only one of those that is relevent or true is Less Time Searching. The Last three are just.. no. 2) Experience for half played game - Might as well boost. 3) Going into game with balanced teams - Uh, no? His post is about getting put on losing teams. Even numbers do NOT mean even teams. 4) Vote on a map - Okay, you saved 15 seconds here at most. Still gotta wait forthe game to load, and to search, and to spawn. All in all, it is not worth it. Halo 4 is amazing, we all know that. But please, don't defend parts of the game that need fixing just because you want it to be perfect. Criticizing parts of the game that need help is part of the fans' way to help fix the game.
  11. Complex is just fine for SWAT. I like the mix up. You realize almost every map in Halo 4 is close-quarters, right? It's nice to have one that's not up-close and personal. Also: Camping is NOT bad. Every Halo player will do it now and again, and it's PART of Matchmaking. Don't complain about it. It's all part of the game.
  12. Then you are just as guilty as the complainers. You DO realize vehicles have been a part of match making since Halo 2, correct? And, that vehicles have been part of the entire Halo series, Campaign, multiplayer, etc? YOU are forgetting that there are other playlists besides BTB and CTF. You don't like vehicles, go play Flood. Don't think for a second that you're special, or extra good at this game, simply because you hate/don't use vehicles. Anyone that plays on it is bad? Are you freaking kidding me? Dude, go up against any good Halo team on any map, and they will destroy you, vehicle or not. Don't be so naive and cocky. Simply put: Ragnarok is a fantastic map, if you don't like it, don't play those game types. Remember that you are a fraction of a minority of people that think that way.
  13. So false. So ridiculously false. Ragnarok/Valhalla/Blood Gulch are easily some of the best maps in the game. Yes, Zanzibar and Hang 'em High are very good as well. But in Halo 4, Ragnarok is easily one of the best. If you are complaining about camping, stop playing first person shooters. It's part of the game. Some people run around, others camp. Deal with it. It's been like that since Halo 2. If you think it's a bad vehicle map - you either suck at using them, or suck at taking them down. There is no in-between, and there is no blaming the map for your inability to play. Seriously, I've had it with these nubs complaining about the stupidest things for EVERY new Halo game that comes out. You don't like it? GTFO and go play Viva Pinata, or whatever is popular these days. Complaining about ignorant stuff like this only makes you look even more ignorant, and even worse of a Halo player. EDIT: No, I didn't join to post this. I've been a member for a while, just reading, not posting. Still use Bungie.
