  1. I only want one weapon. And I'm going into some DEEP detail here. M319 Individual Grenade Launcher. The IGL has break-action, breach-loading system (Fires once, then it must be reloaded). It also a remote sensor system on the shell of the explosive, meaning if anyone comes near your shell, the sensor will pop up on the gun saying how many enemies are near it. Also, when the shell ignites, it emits an EMP blast, rendering and vehicles useless. The M319 IGL is a very powerful weapon to have on the Halo battlefield, as it ca easily take out both infantry and vehicles.
  2. Severe problem with loadouts, anytime I download a map, all loadouts are reset and I have to buy everything again.
  3. I'm only going to disagree on number 3. Aiming. Down. Sights. What do you think the reticule is for? Grenades? Lol, just kiddin. But on a serious note, it would be pointless to do this, the reticule shows exactly where the bullet is going to go. Or, at least the general direction. It would be a sad mistake to make.
  4. Lemme put it this way. If it DOESN'T win, then we know some people are just idiots.
  5. Of course it gonna be good... It's from Bungie! I already pre-ordered mine
  6. All right. I'm just going to answer this just so I can share info. I don't care if it's 7 weeks after Halo 4 or 7 years, I just love going into all the details. So, lets start off back at Earth. Thel Vadam (Formerly Thel Vadamee, dropping the "-ee" suffix to signify his abandonment of the Covenant) after leaving Earth, heads to Sangheilios ( Elite homeworld) along with Rtas 'Vadum and the rest of the Elites to see if it was safe. A short while after returning, the Arbiter seeks to have a peace treaty with the Humans. This caused many Sangheili to turn against him, primarily the Servants of Abiding Truth, a religious group still worshiping Forerunners as gods. After a brute uprising in Ontom, Avu Med Telcam, leader of the Servants, decided to attack Vadam's keep. At first, things were going well for the Arbiter, but the tide turned when Arbiter allowed Kilo-Five to land and search for a missing scientist. Many viewed this as a desecration and joined Telcam. But the tide turned once more when Arbiter accepted help from the UNSC Infinity. Telcam escapes escapes from from Infinity's firepower and retreated to New Llanelli to receive weapons and supplies from Kilo-Five. Jul Mdama, a warrior for the Servants, had followed Telcam to New Llanelli and witnessed the trading, but was knocked unconscious by the Spartan II Naomi. He was then brought aboard UNSC Port Stanley to be interrogated. Soon after he was kept prisoner on the new camp on the shield world Trevelyan, and subject to more interrogation. Eventually, Jul was allowed to wander around Trevelyan whilst being attached to an explosive vest and watched by an Engineer, Prone to Drift. Jul managed to force Prone to disarm his X vest and jumped through a portal. Jul ended up on the colony world of Hesduros, who hasn't had any contact with the Covenant for about a year, and have no knowledge of the Great Schism or the end of the war. Jul meets several youngsters on the planet and ask if they can help him contact his keep. After making contact, he learns that his wife, Raia and friend Forze have been killed by the Arbiters forces. One of the kids approached Jul as he was admiring Forerunner relics, and explains to him the Forerunner symbols that were encrypted on Jul's belt. They then travel to a second holy gate and finds the same symbols on his belt are on the gate. He learns that those were the symbols for Didact and coordinates for Requiem. The native Sangheili believe he was sent by the Forerunners to find the Didact and free him. They promise to help him and give him all the ships they can use to help. They then travel to Requiem, and blah blah next thing you know half of a ship comes floating through space, then boom. Halo 4.
  7. Thel Vadamee oversaw the destruction of Reach. As Thel said in Halo 2, the PoA fled as they glassed Reach, and that he followed with all the ships in his command. By the time Noble 6 died, Thel was already in slipspace. Maybe even at Halo. Ripa, he died with an energy sword through the chest and then thrown off a cliff, and Ripa's time was 20 years before the discovery of Halo, so it wasn't him on Reach either. It was most likely just a random Elite, blocking our view from Noble 6 sad death.
  8. Bungie is doing a amazing job of Destiny from what they've shown us. So excited for it!
  9. Alright, let me start off by saying the UNSC didn't know of the Covenant until the 2520's (More precisely, the first encounter was with Jackals, and they are TERRIFYINGLY ugly. And weak.) The UNSC didn't even think of upgrading weapons technology because, before then, there was no enemy to fight other than the Insurrectionists. And, the vehicles had plenty of advantages over today's. The Scorpion for example, significantly increased rate of fire, versatility and mobility, the only disadvantage was the shell, which were 90mm , that's less than today's! The reason they still had treads on tanks and bullet projectiles was because that's what was reliable and effective before the Covenant. I hope that answers your question!
  10. ODST. This is the definition of kick-ass. ODST 2 FTW!
  11. The slipspace event, otherwise known as the orange portal, only acted as an exhaust port. It only opened a portal to random point in space to allow excess energy a way out. When the Didact fell in, he was sent to THAT spot. And for the question about him surviving in vacuum, if Forerunners could cause supernovae and build artificial planets, don't you think they would put a little protection around the Commander of the ENTIRE Forerunner army so he could survive in a little vacuum?
  12. If she isn't dead in Halo 4, the's dead in Halo 5. 343 said it was going to be a darker title than the rest. Still, nobody knows.
  13. While they did recover a lot of Forerunner and Covenant tech, I don't recall the energy projector being on the list (and if it was, the ships that had them were lost or belonged to Covenant Separatists). Even if Humans got their hands on some blueprints, the Infinity was being constructed in the Oort Cloud, the outskirts of the Sol System. ONI wanted to keep Infinity a secret, permanently stationing workers there and maintaining a communications blackout. No one could leave or get in, even if it was other UNSC personnel. Anywho, Infinity does have 4 CR-03 Magnetic Accelerator Cannons. SO, my guess is that it fired 2 MAC's.
