Hello there, fellow members of the gaming community! When Halo 4 was released, I - like many others - dove right into the Campaign mode. However, before I began my game, I noticed a small change - the iconic Elite skull and shield had been replaced! Now, I know that this was done in order to reinforce the fact that the Prometheans are the main enemy in the game now, but my personal opinion is that the new design is somewhat lackluster. I searched around, and found that quite a few others had a similar opinion. Just for fun, I decided to do a few sketches of what I thought that the shield should look like. After some consideration, I thought that I should get the opinion and input of the community. Who knows? This may turn into something more than just a fan's doodling. Without any further delays, I present to you my sketches as they currently stand. A study of the combat knives that are mounted on the shield. Redesigned variants of the shield. Inspiration from the original shield, the new shield, and the Hardlight Shield. A study of a Promethean Knight's head, a possible replacement for the skull. A different possibility: the current shield with Promethean Knight swords in place of combat knives. Feedback, opinions, and even your own designs are all welcome!
