Hi all,
Not sure if there any developers here who want to take a crack at the Halo 5 API, but I have taken some time to start migrating all the endpoints in a nice easy to use wrapper, so that all you need to do is provide your API Token and then just call any method. It's still a WIP, but adding to it daily!
It's available on Github hereAnd on NuGet here
I am happy to answer any questions about it or help anyone get set up if they want data

Hi all,
I am the creator of UNSC Warfare, and we recently asked members of the game what they wanted for the future of UNSC Warfare. Following that vote the decision was made to make a successor, a UNSC Warfare 2.0 if you will. You can read more about it here. The project was good fun, and all things considered, a success.
It's time to make a mobile version. More features, 3D Battles, more units, more missions moremoremoremore. I have come here, to my base of operations within the Halo extended community to find people who want to be part of the project.
As you are aware can't make money off the project so naturally there will be no payment, but you will gain satisfaction in actively developing (yes we are actually coding here, and building something rather than saying we are) something the community, and hopefully you will enjoy.
What I am looking for!
- HALO LORE MASTERS (Already got some applicants, but we are keeping the most talented who can work with us)
- 3D Modellers - This is integral. We need some 3D Modellers. Even if you are a hobbyist, just post or PM examples of your work. The models don't have to be super high quality as they are from top down and will be used on mobile devices! Lowpoly is good as well if you can do it right! So get in contact, post and share your creations!
- Animators - Self explanatory
- Environment Designers/Modellers - Self explanatory
So get involved. If you have any questions please fire away!

Does it work on mobile now?
It should, it has a mobile design, and the battles should work. Might be a little jumpy but should be ok.

I might actually be able to try this out when I possibly get a gaming desktop this 21-23. If I am able too, then I shall, until then I will keep looking at the game and debating weather or not I'm going to try it out.
No need for a gaming PC - it's all browser based - you can play on your phone if you wish

Just going to echo most of the people here. I preferred FuD also. However I did like the second story Idea in Nightfall. If it was better overall they would have been the icing.

So this really does look interesting; I took some time to browse the site a bit.
However, don't think I'll be able to do much on my computer for a minute, so I'm just gonna leave this here in hopes I'll remember to check on it when I get a chance to actually try it out.

I am definitely going to check this out. I am working on learning game development and would love to watch a game go from Alpha to Beta, etc. and be part of that process as well.

Thanks - development work is on a break at the moment after 2 months of full dev during the alpha period.. It's now just gathering data in preparation for the wipe for beta/release

So the design is done! Finished it today. I will be waiting till Monday Tuesday to release it as I am busy this weekend and I want to be able to support issues. It will launch with the new achievement system, and some crazy optimisations for the battle system and chat!
As for actual algorithmic changes etc regarding the battle system I will see if I can make a start in the next week-

Ah.
Something that would severely enhance replayability, at least for me, would be the addition of Lore into UNSC Warfare. There's a small amount of it, in the Mission briefings, but personally I would care so much less about it being a simulator if it felt like I was truly organizing an army and progressing it through an entire story. THAT, I'm sure would be a bit easier to program, since in it's simplest form it's just text.
(Hmmm.....)
A small thought that I had following that chain of thought was being able to infleunce more than just the game. Take a sports simulator, for example - you get to buy your players (Units) and use them to battle other teams. Ignoring changing things like positions and tactics, because I'm fairly certain that won't be happening due to the sim running fairly randomly, there are also things like buying/selling players, organizing your rights, making sure your team chemistry, team face, money is good, etc. I think that would really give me bigger incentive to replay the game - I guess you could say it would simply feel more immersive if I managed not just 'buying units', but also bigger things like the politics.
Unfortunately nothing is easy to program on this level aha.
As for the last part, I did/do intend to have a marketplace system, in order for players to trade units - as for the units being worth more, that is happening with the wipe. Units will not only be more expensive but will take up more space so players can only have so many of a unit as well as X amount of units. I will be adding in more global modifiers (see slot store) as well as stances for your army. So I am adding in more for that. You can already customise individual units weapons, and I wanted to add in the ability to change armours and equip items as well.. Lots to be done ahah. But remember, this is only Alpha, and as such these features are more than achievable in the long run.

Looking good, so much better than what it eas in the early days and looks like the quLity of your models, artwork and environments is fantastic? How is the progranning coming along. General FPS Aside have you got some deceng logic in place for power ups player health and shielding, etc? How about AI?
If you want to chat about the programming side of it we can and a good approach to those things
