Buns's post in Nintendo's New Console? was marked as the answer
People insulting Nintendo and throwing around buzzwords like "relevant" or "lack of performance" are clearly ignorant and misinformed
It doesn't matter if you dislike the Wii U. It doesn't matter if you think Nintendo games are for kids(Thats because the family audience is their target audience and largest demographic) . It doesn't matter if the PS4 can render more polygons then the highest end of Wii U games.
Nintendo is what sparked life and good game design and (occasionally) good practices in the industry. The Playstation is a direct result of a failed partnership with Sony. What is regarded as one of the top fighting game franchies with the likes of Street Fighter and MK? Smash Bros. What is regarded as the best 2D Platformer series? Mario. What is regarded as the best party game? Mario Party. What is regarded as the best kart racing series? Mario Kart. What is the most popular handheld gaming peripheral excluding smartphones? Nintendo 3DS.
I dont care if your opinion differs from what was said above. Nintendo is a money making powerhouse but they do something Sony and Microsoft fail to do consistently. That thing is called "Quality"
Nintendo games are some of the best designed triple AAA games on the market. Some of your favorite titles were probably influenced by a Nintendo game or Nintendo designer. There is a reason you rarely here of a Mario game being "bad"(although there are some) because theyre made with quality in mind. Of course Nintendo isnt perfect and not all of their titles are top notch but they have a higher rated exclusive library then Sony or Microsoft.
Nintendo's impact on the industry is whats important. For a lot of kids a Nintendo game is the first thing they ever play. Its thanks to Nintendo that kids are still growing up with games with excellent design and not playing some money grubbing trash like Candy Crush(although some kids still do sadly)
If Nintendo was actually "not relevant" then nobody would care about the Wii U sales. Nobody. The 3DS wouldnt be the best selling handheld in the market and Smash Bros wouldnt be at eSports events like Evo. The beautiful thing is that a huge amount of people do care. If you're ignorant enough to truly believe Nintendo isn't important anymore then good for you. Its fine if you dislike Nintendo games or products. Their target audience is kids(this is a forum for a Mature rated game so I dont expect to find many Nintendo fans on here) and while they still accommodate for their older fanbase we aren't the primary focus(with exceptions like fantastic games such as Bayonetta 2)
So quit trying to act edgy with your "lol lack of titles" or "lol weaker then a 360" and please contribute to the discussion in a way that doesnt make you sound uninformed.
To actually get back on the topic. I am fairly confident the new console is going to be similar to what they did with the "new3DS". Its going to be the same as the Wii U just with better hardware. Nintendo will still support the Wii U but release titles exclusive to the "newWii U". Its Nintendo acting strange and pulling off absurd business practices as usual but as long as we get a Animal Crossing game on consoles I am fine with that.

Buns's post in Ac unity or Dying light? was marked as the answer
I have a bias because I dont really like the AC Games
I really enjoyed my time Dying Light. Its a game you can play for awhile and there is a lot to do. Once you get to the endgame and have all your abilities killing Zombies becomes loads of fun.
Also compared to AC Unity the game respects your time a lot more. I didnt feel the itching need to go back and collect everything. I completed the main story right away and was able to do so seamlessly. The side quests arent pushed in your face constantly but theyre still there to do them if you wish. Some of the side quests can also be quite interesting(there is one where you need to defend some crazy old fisherman as you both walk a trail)
The main quests are also varied. I didnt find myself backtracking a whole lot(you do but there are a lot of routes to take to go to the same place so it keeps things fresh). The parkour system is also kept very basic. You have one button that does everything(jump, and climb). Later on in the game you get a grappling hook(which makes you spider man) and if you find the Super Mario easter egg you get some glider(which isnt useful but fun to use)
Also there are a lot of fun easter eggs. They have a Destiny Loot Cave one, another which you play the first world from Super Mario Bros, and another which is Dead Space related and earns you a stasis grenade blueprint.
With all that being said though. The story sucks. I didnt enjoy it much but its enough to keep you going. The last mission is really really bad. Luckly for you the gameplay is fun enough you ignore all of this and just want to keep playing. The combat is also quite fun too and mixing it up with different abilites like vaulting and slide kicks. Even backthrows or throwing ninja stars also help.
Its content rich if youre willing to dig past the main stuff. The game also isnt a walk in the park. When night comes youre going to die if you try fighting the zombies(its also really dark which makes it harder to see)
Overall I would say Dying Light. The game respects your time and the main quests alone arent cookie cutter or that repetitive(one mission has you collecting protection payments, another planting bombs under a timelimit, and another navigating sewers to reach your goal). Its a game you can pick up and finish and feel satisfied afterwards.

Buns's post in getting the flaming head in halo reach was marked as the answer
It is impossible to obtain the flaming helmet now in Halo Reach. Bungie has deleted their app, and the codes for the flames have expired long ago.
I am sorry to say but you are out of luck. Hopefully you can get a flaming helmet in the next Halo game though!

Buns's post in Anybody read the original halo books? was marked as the answer
Halo The Fall Of Reach
Halo The Flood(you can skip this one since it is basically Halo CE in book form)
Halo First Strike
Halo Ghost Of Onyx
Halo Glasslands
Halo The Thursday War
Halo Mortal Dictata
Halo Cryptum
Halo Primordium
Halo Silentium
Now the books below this are only extra material and are really meant for hardcore fans of the series
Halo Contact Harvest
Halo The Cole Protocol
Halo Evolution(Get volume 2 since it is the same as volume 1 but includes more short stories)
Why should I read the books in this order?
Because each book influences the next in some way. The forerunner trilogy is last because it answers all the questions about Forerunners posed in each book(and some questions about the Forerunners from the games) and are frankly the best books in the list. Reading them in this way helps you better understand what happen and remain consistent with the knowledge of lore.
Why are the last 3 books "extra material"?
Because those books are each their own standalone story. They aren't influenced by any previous books and they don't influence any other books(but they do explain a LOT of the backstory behind the War and universe of Halo). They're very good books but if you just want to stick to the game plot and don't care about extra lore then there is no need to bother with them(except Halo Evolution since that tells the origin story and backstory of quite a few things)
After you read the books I highly recommend you read the comics and watch Halo Legends + Halo FuD.
The latest comic series Halo Escalation is fantastic and while the art is "meh" the story is "escalating" really well.

Buns's post in CoD: Advanced Warfare = If CoD did Halo 4? was marked as the answer
This basically answers your thread lol
Sledgehammer has been working on this game for 3 years now. They started work on this as soon as Halo 4 was announced basically so I don't see how they're trying to copy Halo in any way lol.
Plus Activision could care less about Halo. The franchise doesn't make enough money to interest or copy it. Plus it is CoD we're talking about. They aren't going to be taking influences from an arena shooter. Halo 4 and CoD are two very different styles of shooter.

Buns's post in Possible video game crash of 2014/15 was marked as the answer
It isn't going to happen.
The industry was so small back then and the only thing that crashed was Atari
The industry is HUGE HUGE HUGE now. I mean you did not even mention the hundreds of indie games that come out each day? Did you mention the 12+ Consoles/Micro Consoles on the market? Did you mention how good steam, desura, GoG, and other PC markets are doing?
There is going to be no video game crash. There never will be. The gaming industry is big enough to support itself and isn't in a fragile state like before.
What could happen is the crash of certain genres of games(like the Rhythm music genre back in 2009-2011, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, etc) but even after that Rhythm Games still do well.

Buns's post in How do I Submit a video to the community youtube channel?? was marked as the answer
That is very nice of you but trust me the channel is fine and we upload footage that includes the whole community not just content from a single person
The best you can do is attend community events and record footage(Like I did which I submitted to Church so he may do what he pleases with the footage and upload a highlights)
Remember it is a "community" channel and in my opinion should only include events that are hosted by the community and involve the community. You can always focus on your channel.
