If halo 5 was pre-ordered of Amazon (which it was, in my case), would you think it'll arrive on release? Halo 4 came a day late for me when pre-ordering from Amazon.

I always go to a local store to pick it up myself. I don't trust deliveries to be on time.

Unless it's sold out because of rabid buyers at said local store. I can't answer the question, sadly, but I think a pre-order is more reliable than trying to beat everyone to the store's limited supply, even if it is one day late.
