Respawn Entertainment has said that during the beta for their new game Titanfall they reached over 2 million players playing the Titanfall beta before they closed it down. Respawn made the beta public and extended the time to February 19th but before it closed Respawn found out that over 2 million players had downloaded and played the beta of Titanfall however it has had a lot of advertisement so im guessing if it wasn't advertised as much or made public it would of had less players on the beta for Titanfall. Respawn engineer Jon Shiring said that the Titanfall beta was also an important test for Xbox Live compute, Microsoft’s cloud computing technology. “Forza used it a little bit, but they weren't as reliant on it as we are,” he told Polygon. “The game is completely reliant on it. If it's down, nobody can play." Shiring said that while Respawn may still find more problems at launch, the beta helped them find 10 “real things” that they worked on and fixed however there was one thing that Respawn didn't think about that lead to a leak about Titanfall. By looking into the beta files, savvy data miners managed to unearth the names of 14 potential maps that could feature in the full game. so far this game looks like it will be a success but will it turn out to be another battlefield 4? There are some rumours going around that Mario Kart 8 could possibly have a race track editor. Nintendo hasn't said anything about this rumour but there have been a few sites such as GameSpot, Amazon, Target and Best Buy however these are third party retailers so some of the information isn't true. So for now don't think that Mario Kart 8 will have a race track editor but if they do then i am curious how it will work and how it functions. Nintendo previously confirmed that the karts in Mario Kart 8 will be customizable, just like they were able to in Mario Kart 7 for the Nintendo 3DS. Other new features for Mario Kart 8 include Mario Kart TV, which allows you to share videos on Miiverse and anti-gravity tracks that let you race upside down. It was also recently confirmed that all seven of Bowser's minions--the Koopalings--will be playable in Mario Kart 8. The game launches for Wii U on May 30. Source

Getting Married Anytime Soon? It Could Earn You a Free Xbox One.
Akali replied to Ghost Recon's topic in General Discussion
this is a stupid idea since a lot of little kids are going to say that they are getting married and if they want picture proof then if they have a sister then they will just get her and this thing is just stupid because who would actually give away an xbox one -

IGN posted a picture of the Art Of Titanfall art book which shows pictures of monsters so we will be fighting monsters in the campaign of Titanfall at some point. Posted on IGN, The Art of Titanfall book shows new details on game's weapons, maps, storyline, and monsters. According to the article, monsters "will walk or fly around levels harmlessly until people interfere. Others will attack when you just stare at them." This confirms that the creatures will appear during in-game combat, joining AI-controlled Grunts and Spectres on the battlefield. Similarly, a post on NeoGaf alleges developer Respawn Entertainment confirmed that the Leviathan monsters (one which appears in an advertisement for the game on the right) will be present, but will not enter the maps. Picture of the leviathan The artbook also lists several Titanfall map names that were recently dug up by data miners, confirming their presence in the game. source

Can Halo creator's next game Destiny live up to the hype?
Akali posted a topic in General Discussion
Bungie has some seriously bold ambitions for its upcoming shared-world shooter Destiny. Writing as part of the latest Bungie Weekly Update, the developer laid out its vision for the upcoming game, the first of the studio's decade-long partnership with the juggernaut Call of Duty and Skylanders company Activision Publishing. "At Bungie, we want to make a game that matters--to break new ground in your imagination. We don't want to make something that’s just good enough to ship," Bungie said. "Our goal is to change the way you think about all the games you play. We want to redefine what you come to expect when you have a weapon in your hands and your own hunt and evade scenarios are afoot." Bungie has a proven track record for blazing trails in the gaming world. The studio's best-known work which is Halo which is what made the original Xbox so popular and Bungie hasn't lay off with the awesome content that they provided in halo. To bet against Bungie would seem to be unwise, but we won't know for sure how impactful the game will be until it officially arrives on September 9. A beta for the game will arrive this summer first on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. It's not just Bungie that believes Destiny will raise the bar. Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg said this month that Destiny is on track to become the "best-selling new video game IP in history." Activision executives also anticipate that Destiny could become Activision Publishing's third billion-dollar franchise, joining Call of Duty and Skylanders. source -
same but im not buying anything off the Microsoft store since i have a problem where they take my money but i dont get the thing i paid for unless i pay for it again also thanks baby blue
-
i dont really care about who sells more since to me the console war is just stupid and i have no interest in it since no company is perfect or better than the other since both companies have messed up like when the PS3 got hacked and a lot of money was taken and Microsoft with their DRM policies so i dont really care about it since both companies have messed up at times
