Today at PSX, Bungie has released new information on their next plan to provide us content until the next dlc announcement. This entertainment isn't your typical shoot things in the face for rng loot. Instead, it's time to dust off your Sparrow skills and get ready for a death race in the Sparrow Racing League! The Live team wants to make Destiny a different place. They feel as though that if they make these community 'Lightning Rods', they want to create new events. This is the team that was responsible for the Festival of the Lost, and here they are again, boosting hype levels yet again whilst giving us something new in Destiny. So what is this Sparrow Racing League that you're babbling on about? - Well this is going to be a three week long event hosted by Amanda Holiday in the tower that starts this Tuesday (8th December - 29th December). It is a six man FFA on two maps. One on Mars, and another on Venus. How can one take part in the Sparrow Racing League? - You will be able to access this three week long event if you own The Taken King. How will the Sparrow Racing League play out? - Throughout the course, you will see these blue holographic gates. The more gates you pass through, the faster you will go, but the more gets you miss, the slower you will go. The two maps have set difficulties according to the Live Team. They have the beginner map on Mars, and a more challenging map on Venus. Campus Marstious is the name of the Mars map, and Infinite Descent is the map name for the Venus map. You will be racing fellow Guardians through enemy territory. With this new event, we will be getting new armour, class items and sparrows. The armour and class items can spawn at 320 light, so we now have another way to achieve the new level cap inside of Destiny. So about this Inheritor award. I understand that if we were previously handed an award, but then they were replaced with the Inheritor award. Is there a list anywhere of the removed awards? I went from 52 to 44 (it did change to 45 today) but I can't remember what awards were removed. Also why were they removed? (if you can answer that question)

It isn't a glitch in the game, sometimes I struggle to connect to some people overseas, even if my connection is stable across every platform and game. It does suck, but I haven't been banned from a match yet. I'd try ringing your internet provider to see if there's an issue on their end. Also a common problem with Xbox support is that they recommend this site when they haven't actually done their homework. The way to get a hold of a dev is on the HaloWaypoint forums.

Well this is quite a shock to hear about, however rules are rules. Even if he did bring us news for a long time, and was an active member, rules are rules. They are set up as guidelines, and newer members usually look up to the older staff members, staff and mods. Thanks for the update TD.
