Shows that are dubbed are the same as shows that are subbed. Only differences are censors on certain scenes deemed unfit in other places than Japan and the voices. Naruto is no slower in English than it is in Japanese. the filler is just as excruciatingly painful in both.

Drizzy, Naruto Ship-whatever is already on an episode number that's basically double what the English Dub has right now. Not to mention they're rolling the dice on Boruto, a movie that takes place AFTER the show. Either the Dub is going far slower than the original, or the Dub was made far later than the Japanese version. I'm talking REAL late.

It takes longer to dub episodes because of translation and recording of voice acting. they don't just read the subtitles. the dub DID start a long time after the original just like the first series.
