  4. Exactly. It's just spending time to get us to know them, that's why I'm hoping everything was saved for Volume 2 and that now we know the characters, it could be more meaningful now. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating by saying the series went "downhill". It's just that many of the series school drama just doesn't feel as meaningful as I'd like them to be and there are plenty of cliches used. Not to mention the cliffhanger at the 16th episode. The Kotaku review of RWBY is more or less the same as my opinion of the series. The acting was good, but not as good as Red vs. Blue, in my opinion. It's far from the best acting of all time. I forgot to mention that the music is also another good quality of the series. It's just a lot of fun to listen to. Don't get me wrong, I love the series concept. I even created a RWBY AMV. But it's not the series I was expecting. Not yet, at least.
  5. To be honest, unlike most people, I loved the Flood in Halo 2. They just felt so full of rage and were very wild. In fact, they moved rapidly and gave a hefty challenge. They populated parts of the game with the best atmospheres (Oracle, The Sacred Icon, High Charity etc.) and everything is in ruin when they come in.
  6. Yes, it was amazing at first, but it went downhill once Episode 3 dropped. I loved the four trailers and RWBY Episode 1. They all presented a gritty feeling, amazing action and a fascinating fantasy world that could potentially be full of lore. The first episode started amazingly and went straight to the action. We get to see that the world of RWBY is full of different factions. The comedy in this episode was also top-notch. I wanted a gritty world-exploration anime with many factions around the world and the team slowly meeting each other over the course of time, so that we can gradually understand each of the characters one by one with the creatures of Grimm being a threat that's always there. Instead, we are thrown into a school and all the characters meet at once. Leaving me to assume that they're saving everything for later. At that point, I thought the school would send the students in missions against the creatures, but instead we get school drama that isn't very effective. The comedy in the school part of the series is far from what we were shown in the first episode, in my opinion. The voice acting could use more work, but it's good enough not to be annoying. I expected Red vs. Blue quality voice acting, which the first episode was able to do, but the rest of the series was unable to even reach that level. And then the final episode is underwhelming. Action is truly the one redeeming quality RWBY has. But overall, dispite the disappointment, I liked it. I'm excited for volume 2 and I'm hoping that everything done in Volume 1 was just to save the good stuff for Volume 2.
  7. I didn't have an Xbox at first. I found Halo when I was a four year old back in 2003. My dad bought Halo PC when it came out and I tried it and I loved it. I remember taking days to finish even just one level. But I still enjoyed it. Halo 2 was released the following year, but my dad bought an Xbox with Halo 2 on 2005, when I was six and I loved that too and replayed the campaign over and over. I even attempted to play on Legendary. No matter how many times I died, I didn't give up and kept retrying that last checkpoint until - finally - I beat it...When I was eight...That took really long. My dad then bought an Xbox 360 in 2008 with Halo 3 and BioShock and, just like the previous two, I loved Halo 3. Halo was all I ever played in those days. I continued to play the Halo series ever since.
  8. Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down
  9. Well, there is a glitch that lets you play 4 player split screen in Halo 3, ODST, Reach and Halo 4. However, there are a lot of issues. Just as Fishy says, everything decreases in quality the more players there are. In Halo 3, the game crashes whenever a Cortana moment pops up. In Halo Reach, there's a slower framerate. In Halo 4, the draw distance is considerably smaller and makes the game look very bad. The Xbox 360 isn't very reliable with 4 player split screen. Besides, when I tried out a split screen three player campaign, me and the other two players got lost a lot and got confused with the small screens.
  10. I made a Halo MV (Bartholomew):

    - Inspired by the Dark Souls Bartholomew trailer
  11. Banned for staring at the screen, mashing keyboard buttons like everyone else in the internet is doing.
  12. If you can, go buy both to complete your Halo collection. If you can only get one, definitely Halo Wars - you can't miss it. It's an amazing game. Halo Spartan Assault is only fun for one playthrough. After that - it's completely boring and you never want to play it again. Little value for money. Not to mention the pathetic story of Spartan IVs being given tablets to play "a fun little game" for a history lesson... Worst Halo game ever without a question. Since it's far from addictive, which is a quality twin stick shooters aim for, and also has a completely irrelevant storyline, you can easily skip Spartan Assault and not miss a thing. Definitely Halo Wars. While it's a simple RTS that goes nowhere near the complexity of PC RTS games, it's one of the best console RTS games I've ever played. They actually made the console RTS work and that's difficult to do. Ensemble Studios are also great developers who helped pioneer the RTS genre with Age of Empires, which is one of my favorites. Although the characters are heavily underdeveloped, Halo Wars also has a story that's actually entertaining. I can't rate Halo Wars anywhere among the Halo games, because it's so different and does its job well in terms of being a console RTS. Not to mention the great soundtrack that Halo Wars has, whereas Spartan Assault's is repetitive and forgettable. Halo Wars captures the Halo feel very well in every department. So well, that you'd have thought Bungie developed it.
  13. Painful. In all seriousness, I liked it, but it feels more scripted than previous Halo games for some reason. As a personal preference, I dislike the new characters introduced in Halo 4. I found the story predictable and corny towards the end, but that's probably just me. I liked Halo 4, but it's far from my favorite Halo game.
  14. I made a Halo MV (Iridescent):

  15. Banned because tribal drum beats are much more fun: A banny banny ban and a banny banny ban!
  16. Banned because red is too awesome not to exist: If there is blue, which is awesome by the way, there must also be red.
  17. Here's a new one: FLAPPY BIRD This is actually a very mediocre game. Critics agree with me, at least. But the mainstream public loves this. It has never ending gameplay and constant high-scores - the formula for an addicting game. Thus, it's somehow garnered a lot of attention. However, it's a completely unoriginal and uninspired idea. - Piou Piou vs. Cactus Clone (Which, itself, is a Blackberry Copter clone) - Mario sprites - Name similar to Angry Birds for attention Not to mention that only basic programming skills were required and the colision detection for the pipes extend a tad bit too far, so it's unfair too. Don't forget the thousands of ads...*shiver* These people are giving money to the wrong person...Flappy Bird makes me want to make a rushed, shameless clone myself just so I can earn money in the event it somehow turns out just like Flappy Bird - A lucky success for a terrible game. But I don't, because I can't live with the idea of making such a terrible game. I don't only hate it for being uninspired and unoriginal, I also hate it because it's glitchy and pointless, and so, it's boring.
  18. I agree. When I talk about Dishonored, every one of them asks "What's Dishonored?" But on the internet, quite a lot of people know it. So it does have attention. DeathSpank seems to have a creative art design and Spellforce looks interesting. I'll have to try them out myself. Same. I also have Halo Custom Edition and still play the many maps people still make for it. Well, Gotham City Imposters is free on Steam.
  19. Halo Episode 5: The Forerunners Strike Back. Nope, as others have stated above, Halo 5. It's simple and easy to follow. I doubt anyone would want any other name. Hope we get more Halo 5 at E3 2014.
  20. Well, it is free to play. I'll check it out. Interesting game. I'd say the level of creativity is near to that of Grim Fandango. I guess I can only appreciate it if I play it myself. One of those amazing creative games, I suppose. You know, I really doubt that. Halo CE isn't overlooked. Especially since Halo Anniversary came out recently. But, well, that's your opinion. So your standards of an overlooked game.
