    Got it, so they should be read together to be enjoyed best. I'll probably read the books based on release starting with the Fall of Reach. Seems to be the best way to go and see how I like it.

    I think that I'd rather read the older books first. Thanks for letting me know where the Kilo-Five trilogy takes place, that's helpful. Does the Forerunner Saga have a place you can put it in relation to the games?

    Can someone help me out with what order I should read the books and play the games together? I haven't read the books before and I want to do it this year before Halo 5. Thanks in advance.
