    I like cortana in Halo 1 for her sassy attitude and the chief in Halo 4 because he felt more human, than in the oher games.

    Hello there everyone. As we all know The Great Forum War has begun and even before it did, people sided with their faction and desperately switched towards the one they wanted after the teams were made public. Now I am not the one for Roleplay or anything, but I thought we could give our soldiers a face. So I made this thread. Example: Faction: GDR Rank: First Lieutenant Name: Coldfreeze Function: Heavy support / battering ram Reason for Joining (RFJ): Been part of the GDR all my live, it is everything I know and it has done nothing but bring peace to me and my family, now when we first heard about the OS it felt unimportant, till one of their so called strikes of "justice" killed one of my best mates. One rule, never make it personal. Now the idea is red for GDR files, Blue for OS and Green for mercs. No flaming or hate mongering. Can't spell functional without fun!

    Camping in places which are hard to reach and only accesible by more experienced players and/or using glitches in the maps, do not count as a legitimate strategy in my book.

    My main will be Halo 2, I never had a Xbox original so and well I am kind of a graphics *insert offensive term here which we all know* so yeah an remake will be awesome in much as graphics and gameplay (DUAL WIELD YEAH) and of course the gungoose. The rest all comes later on, but Halo CEA could also be awesome in MP. and ofc Halo 4 because you know, I play that one a lot nowadays.

    If metropolis is the mission with the scarab than that one is mine (been a while since I played it) the moment you attack the scarab, the rif starts playing, the music swells up and I have never felt so badass before, the mjolnir mix of Halo 2 has been my favorite Halo song of all time.

    I would dislike cosmetic weapon attachments so much, it has no use besides making your gun look pretty. Now a game such as battlefield or Call of Duty uses them beign a "realistic" shooter. Lore based spartans only use the sights from their weapons via their HUD. So differences in scopes and such although cosmetic could be done. but silencers with no effect what so ever would be silly.

      While I like TFP, I like the movies better. What I am unable to decide on is whether or not I prefer the movies, or WFC/FOC.

      WFC/FOC are actually the most cannon representations of all the transformers series and comics, while the movies took a lot of liberties there.

      There IS no most canon, every version of Transformers is its own canon. That is the nature of Transformers as a whole.

    I want to jump in here. This whole thread is getting out of hand. We should not be accusing one another or assuming things. I am not seeing any "betrayal" or "unfairness" here. The things I see here is people who care about this, after all this is just website, but one with heart and passion. The member of the month is incredibly important to a lot of people, everyone who became a member of the month has earned it, after all a good deed is a good deed no matter how big or small and every bit of positivity is still positive. So to my suggestion, I propose we end this bickering and remember why we joined this forum in the first place, we all found our place on these forums, made friends, have fun, celebrated the new MoM's and remembering the old legends. I joined these forums while the clan blue team was nearing it's end and I experienced the aftermath, I found friendship, hope and encouragement. I could not care less if we have no MoM this month, because I know that the next one will surely have earned, just like the others before and the others to come. So on this warm summer eve, I raise my glass for the things to come and the things that have past. Because in my world, you are all the Members of the Month July.

    Disregarding P34nut for his work isnt necessary he did a lot of events as well and even before mom he did a lot of articles. A mans actions speak louder than his deeds.

    Seems to be just a job offer, it could just be for promotions or Halo in regard of the comic lines, etc. This is way to vague to actually mean anything.

    I am going to go out on a limb here, but I think canon goes before gameplay. Ever since Halo 2 I wanted to be able to sprint, after seeing the cutscene in Halo 3 were the Chief sprints I wanted it even more. The thing in Reach that bothered me was limited sprint and it being an armor ability and Halo 4 gave me the option to make it unlimited. Now I understand that not everyone would be happy with sprint, but I think it adds to Halo, rather than redacts from it. In some cases like in Reach it gave me just the edge to make a jump and assassinate someone mid air. In Halo 4 I use it to move fast from cover to cover and in game modes such as swat to move from kill to kill. I like spint and if it were to be removed it would be a step back in my opinion.
