  1. You need to make a bigger difference between intro, core review and your final thoughts. the other thing is, is that this looks more like a report, than a review. Try to talk about features in the game, try explaining why and how to work and give a stastical end report. You rather have no intro at all and your final score is jammed some where at the end. fun review, but you need to improve!
  2. That is one fine rule indeed. Plagiarism can really hurt a site, there are enough examples to list here, but still. ya got my support!
  3. Hello there everyone, it is me again. After being mentioned as a hot topic in the weekly wrap up, I felt really flattered. This post is a follow up post on my last one, but this one focuses on Facebook. Facebook has a lot of security options, most of them are as easy as selecting allow or don’t allow, but some require more thought put into it and some of them are downright sneaky. First of all the; fast menu, Which can be found under this very small button here, in the top right of your Facebook page. This menu allows you to change your settings on the fly, even though this may not be as elaborate as the advanced menu, but it may just be enough for some of you. Ah the advanced menu, accessible by clicking on “See More Settings” as seen in the image above. The advanced menu has two options for security that matter the most: Security and Privacy As seen below. First up: Security Security has the easiest settings on Facebook, most of these speak for themselves, just selecting edit and then select which option you prefer. Next up: Privacy The main option here is “Who can see my stuff?” (Facebook uses such "professional" terms!) As you can see, it shows the “what is on your mind?“ box. Here you can select what your preferred method for posting is. It does not remove older posts from unfriendly eyes so keep that in mind. The two options on the bottom are very important and are two of the sneaky options I mentioned before. Who can contact me: Here you can select people who can contact you. Select either friends from friends or everyone. Who can look me up: This here is very important. This gives you the option to change how people can find you and even if people can find you using Google or any other search engine like Bing or Yahoo (why someone would use those is beyond my grasp.) Like I said before, PM me if you have any more questions about security. I made this follow up for уαηg χιασ ℓσηg, since he asked for a more detailed explanation of Facebook security. Au revoir! 5. Twitter has two options to protect your account settings, it's as simple as checking a box. I will see if I can show some images of Facebook though, since Facebook uses a system consisting of multiple grades in settings.
  6. Great wrap up! I feel flattered that my guide became hot topic, thank you all!
  7. First let me introduce myself, the name is Coldfreeze, Cold or Freeze to friends. In my personal life I have been active in IT for over three years and did a lot of research into security, I also do provide starting companies with information on how to protect themselves from certain hazards, like social media and or leaks in their security, but today I will be discussing social media. some of you have put their social media links on their profile, most of those social media links are unprotected, making it easy to find out where you live and or what your name is. As I was looking through forum profiles, I noticed that things like social media and private information by some of you is not that well protected. I decided to help you guys and gals with a small guide to make sure that you will not provide any personal information unwanted. Some of you have also protected their accounts, but still show their friends. Conversations with friends are a small source of information, but if you put some of those small bits information together, it isn’t that hard to get to know some basic stuff about you. If there is ANY trade of personal information needed, do this through a personal message, on Facebook and our beloved forum. Most social media sites have an option to hide certain information from outside viewers. Twitter The social media service base upon a simple concept of 140 character per message and for the sake of saying a little birdie just told me. Twitter has an option in settings called Security and privacy in this you can adjust setting such as: Protect my tweets allows you to select which user can see your tweets Discoverability Lets people find you by email. There are tons of other settings which you can adjust to make sure that your personal information is only seen by people you trust. Facebook The hugely popular social media giant and also the downfall of many politicians (I love the internet.) Facebook also has a lot of options to protect yourself The most important parts of these are: Security: multiple options to protect your account Privacy: Multiple options to protect your well…um…privacy. most important section here is the “Who can see my stuff area?” A lot thing you your self can prevent are part of your own willingness to give out information, some simple guide lines are: Never give out any personal information to someone you do not know If a site requires a Facebook account, just deny it if you don't want to do so. (depends on your personal view, this forum has it.) Moderators on these forums cannot oblige you to give any personal information, if some does, try report him immediately. If this proves handy to some people let me know and if you want more information about anything else IT security related, PM and I’ll see if I can help. Stay safe! Coldfreeze

google + could work even in addition to a youtube channel. Instagram is pretty much for photo camera's. pinterest is a good idea as well

  9. I am a serious gamer, I play Halo for fun and competitive. The games has been adjusted since launch to balance out any unbalanced loadouts, If I were you I'd give it a try, you might just like it.
  10. congratulations are in order for both. But leave the Ice puns to me. I may be not the cooliest around, but I am certainly the coldest and the freeziest. Sayonara!
  11. The way I see it, the spartan-IV's are less effective, they have the instincts of their marine career. Spartans are known to know no fear and sadly marines do know fear. The spartan-III project was adjusted to the covenant invasion and were suicide squads, almost all of noble team was a spartan-III with the exception for Jorge. There are only 2 spartans with the classification of extremely lethal one of them is Noble six the other is John-117.Noble six is a spartan-III Like I said before I would prefer spartan-III to because of the age I have myself, but reading back that they are indeed cheap "products" I have changed my opinion.
  12. The gravemind is dead, the ark on which it precided was destroyed by the replacement of the Halo destroyed in Halo CE, these rings destroy all organic matter, including flood. The ring was fired inward towards the ark, thus destroying all organic matter on the the ark itself, this als dampend the blast and probably since the halo was still being build the blast wasn't nearly as strong, one of the reasons John-117 probably survived the blast. However the flood itself has not been eradicated, since a lot of flood were kept on the rings for research possibility's. The UNSC started a program to dismantle all of the rings and destroy flood if found. Spartan-IV's are trained in flood eradication, which can be seen in Spartan Assault. I bid ya good day

If the Moon didn't spin at all, then eventually it would show its far side to the Earth while moving around our planet in orbit. However, since the rotational period is exactly the same as the orbital period, the same portion of the Moon's sphere is always facing the Earth.

Another interesting fact is that actually a little bit more than half of the Moon's surface is observable from Earth. Since the Moon's orbit is elliptical, and not circular, the speed of its orbi...

  14. I loved the story, the Chief against all odds trying to save Cortana, but then the part where the terminal vaporized. just before that part I felt like, Cortana can be saved and then, nothing, It broke my spirit (I usually get really emotionally involved in the Halo game) It was a moment were I went: No, no, no, this can't be, WHY no. My disbelief turned into anger and I went trough that last part like a thunder storm. I loved it, I cried a little and somewhere I still have some small hope that Cortana still lives (I think the librarian could have copied here, the reason I think the chief is on a forerunner planet in the E3 trailer.) Never make a girl a promise you can't keep and knowing chief, he won't.
  15. Most of the spartan-III's died defending Reach, around 10 % was stationed on other locations. The spartan-II are, and correct me if I'm wrong, mostly MIA. they were the first to encounter any covenant and most didn't have acces to tech such as shields.
  16. spartan-III's have all the augmentations as well, but there was lower fatallity rate.
  17. Good day to all my fellow forum members, I have been playing Halo since CE. Since Halo 3 introduced customization to the armors, the game got a lot more influence on personal level, the spartan you create isn't some mindless soldier like in games such as Call of duty or Battlefield, it is your spartan, your armor and a personal extention to how you want to look like as a spartan in the Halo universe. Since Halo 4 introduced spartan-IV's I felt like my character in Halo wasn't a Spartan but a an enhanced soldier, I do not identify with spartan-IV's but more with the spartan-II's So my question is, what spartan do you identify with, is it the elite soldiers of the spartan-II project, the more versatile spartan-III soldiers or the enhanced marines and ODST known as the spartan-IV's.? Please select one of the answers and explain why you identify with that spartan. I noticed that I didn't explain why I chose for spartan-II's I am a fairly young guy, 22 years old, part of the reason I choose spartan-IIIs. I changed my opinion thanks to Zaguroth. I mistakenly chose the spartan-III's as the ultimate super soldier, I got my lore mixed up.
