    Like Butch said we are not 343i second: You miss bungie, I don't, they showed no innovation in Reach besides some terrible game play decisions. (terrible spawns, armorlock, worst forge ever) And the waterfalls ad an incredible option for map control. Bungie almost let Halo die, 343 brought it back.

    I think that most of the remaining older spartans were put into the spartan-IV ranks for one single reason: cover up. Halsey is known to have created the spartans, but she is branded a war criminal because she used children. Spartan-II's and III's are valuable assets and Oni made sure that these spartan's were re enlisted as spartan-IV's. No evidence of Halsey's spartans and a bunch of experienced spartans to either train other spartans or to use in active duty. No harm, no foul.

    You are looking for a development kit and a game editor. This will never be made for the console and to be honest is a pretty stupid thing to do. Look for the modding community for Halo Custom Edition.

    They could completely fix it with a patch, but nope not important. IT is stated that Halo Reach takes place in the later events happening in the book, but that just doesn't solve it.

    Timeshift has one of the best headshot mechanics there is. I mean headshottign feels so satisfying. The sound of the skull breaking and grey matter on the wall behind it. To the OP: I really do not care for medals in Halo I just want to hear the announcer go: Headshot.

    Well I know Bungie doesn't pay attention to the lore, I just explained that they adjusted it as they see fit and fall of reach is a perfect example of that. I mean up to Halo 3 everything in the book is known as the official event and ofcourse Halo reach screwed that up. In my opinion I rather go with the games than with the books, but bungie dropped a big mess on the lore with Reach.

    As long as they remove of nerf the Boltshot I hope the Promethean weapons return. Of course the SMG's are a long time favorite and instead of adding or bringing back new weapons, just give me dual wield, I miss that so much.

    I despise Yoinks, people who yoink me usually end up with no shield the whole match. an assassination is cool to pull off, accidents tend happen (looking at you P34nut) but people who purposely wait and then just yoink you, are people who I despise. I mean I accidently yoinked some people a few times too and some times on purpose (Looking at you again P34nut), but I tend to avoid it.

    Games before books in my opinion. A lot of things in the lore have changed with the release of new halo games. Just as the adjustment of the AR, bungie gave it a different name, problem solved.

    I would like to see more freedom in building, Halo wars had standard places to put down your base, leaving no room for strategic placement. The other thing I would like to see is a first person cam for units. I mean that would be really cool, seeing the same thing your units see. But on of the thing I would really like to see is smaller missions in terms of the Dawn of war games from warhammer 40k. One moment you have gigantic battles, the other moment you are guiding a squad of spartan through a covenant carrier. And well no complains here about the cgi.

    As an army branch I assume. But in specifications they remain spartans-III's right?

    My point being here that if we don't need viable reasons for free stuff, why not give us all stuff for Halo 4.

    No see Recon was already in the game, they gave it to people as a gift for the final transition from bungie to 343i, for Reach they have to create a new thing. Second, why reach? why not Halo 4 on the 360, that game is from 343i themselves and gets moved to a newer platform. I mean Reach does not deserve any extra content just for the sake of it.

    Spartans are failry tall to begin with. I am pretty sure that most people don't identify as a spartan IV. Think we play as spartan III in Halo 5 (mostly because I hate spartan IV's)

    I can only agree here, going back to games you used to play sheds a completely different light on them. I used to love Halo Reach's MP, but now it's my least favorite Halo game.

    I think 343 is putting Halo in the right direction, Halo 4 has a few rough edges, but Gamescon showed that they listen to what the community wants. Bringing Halo back to it's arena roots might scare of some of the newer players. I am going to take a wild gues and say that Halo 5 will have a larger population than Reach.

    I know they did, but reach is not "partially" their game, they did not make any part of the core game. Still there is no reason for them to give something to the reach people, just because MCC is coming. It's a really silly reason.

    Free stuff for nothing. Reach and ODST are last gen, 343i stated to move development of Halo content to xbox one. Second they only maintain the servers for these games. Second Reach is not their game, so I think they would rather see population increasing in their games and not old last gen titles. ODSt in the MCC? it's called the Masterchief collection for a reason. Free stuff for Reach not being included in a collection made by another company who have moved development to another platform. Sounds silly doesn't it?
