someone tripped over a plug somehwere in 343i buidling that caused the server to go offline, this causing great turmoil bewtween many players (roughly 20,000) on halo reach. These devastated players were dealing with a very gruesome fate of having to stick with the ol' noble 6 spartan armor, 7th column player emblem, and the recruit rank while not displaying armor effects due to reach being offline. Even though there was no word said by 343i, we all knew someday the problem would be fixed! but for many it was fixed, the few are still stuck with recruiter status

Hello, i went to gamestop and pre ordered the halo 5 MCC for xbox one and the guy gave me a receit but on the receit there is no code for the beta or for the bandana skull code. How exactly am i supposed to get the beta code? is it by email or?

Reach stats are no longer being updated, support from Xbox live has stated them once we asked. They are shutting down weekly challenges. Not sure if we will still be earning credits, most likely we will. Anything can change tho.

Yeah I saw the e3 vids and the refurbished versions look stunning, thing is, if they made halo 5 like halo 4, and 1-3 stayed the same with the refurbished graphics, it would appeal to everyone and they would get more sales, but the pop would die like it did in halo 4. Which is why I think they might make it like halo 3 possibly and I hope it's 10x better becaause I love halo The armor doesent look like origional halo armor, that's what he's saying bro. They took a new look and added it in, instead of building on the origional Spartans.

Free stuff for not being included in the MCC, read the title. Halo: reach and Halo ODST are like the only online halo games not being involved in the MCC. Since 343i are adding H1-4 to the bundle, this means the populations will grow for those specific games. By giving something free stuff to reach players, people will want to hop back on reach and play, kind of like how they handed out recon on halo 3, it sparked up H3's population. This isent a bad idea, I can see the reasoning behind what the OP said and I think it would help to include Reach and ODST because those games had a great storyline too. And also, couldent 343i make ODST with the MCC seing how ODST let you play halo 3 on that disc? Lol

Nice joke lol But really though, if you compare population from halo 4 (1yr old game ) to halo reach (3yr old game) halo reach has about twice the population of halo 4. So if 343i wants to make a halo 5 that will be like a halo 4, by all means let me do that, won't stop people from playing but I bet the population will stil be less than reaches by the end of the year.

I know what an arena shooter is lol and since everyone is entitled to their own opinion, it'd be great to hear your opinion without all of the "you seem to dislike 343i, so I'm going to trash your thread comments" to top it off, no ones going to buy into your "coming off as an utter jerk comment" that's thrown at the end of your post everytime you disagree with someone. I was just giving my opinion about what halo 5 will be like, and my opinion was that it's going to be like the call of halo 4. Wether you chose to believe that or not is your choice, I just want to see what everyone else thinks without all of the fuss. It's 343i's own fault they are receiving the negative feedback. Also, I am being positive, Halo mcc will be good, but halo 5 is debatable and I think we all can agree with that. The refurbished halo 1-3 looks great tho! And I apologize if I came across as a jerk also.

The reason why 343i had to revamp halo 1-3 and add h4 into the mcc is because a lot of people wouldent have bought halo 5 without it. I mean, we've seen how bad halo 4 was, and if halo 5 is the same way, Atleast people would enjoy the refurbished stuff on H1-3. That way there won't be a lot of disappointment. Just my thoughts

Whenever I am signed into my Xbox live account (gold) and I am offline, my recon helmet, ua multi threat chest, blue/red flames, officer armor, and assault rifle nameplate don't show up for some reason. Is this because the armor is attached to the server? And if so, does this mean whenever or if at all, the reach servers for some reason go down permanently at some point, the armor I listed above will forever be gone and a waste?

I don't recall having too many problems with dejavu, mainly because we have 3 xboxes in the same house and played cooperative kinda, but I do remember being in he ghosts and all my teammates died, it was like 11:30 and I somehow happened to beat the mission and my friends and I were talking about it the next day lol

Lol Ikr, They were super challenging and soo time consuming, I remember being in 7th grade and getting my dad, sister, and friend to help me with those challenges, and we knocked them all out fairly quick. For some reason I happened to get the vidmaster: annual challenge completed on 8/13/09 lmao. But my friends and family never felt so accomplished like that on a video game after beating those challenges, it was definitely worth it in 2009!

343Industries should implement vidmaster achievements in Halo 5 to give us a challenge like bungie did in halo 3. And by unlocking all of the vidmasters in halo 5, one would be granted a cooler version of bungie flames or a revised version. For the people who gave two craps about completing vidmasters in 2009-2010 should get rewarded something special in halo 3 or halo 5. Some might ask, why would those people need to be compensated from earning those achievements 4-5 years ago, you must be crazy because they got recon for it. Well, that's true, and guess what... Every other noob on halo 3 has recon just for sticking their disc into their Xbox. Not to mention the fact that when I logged on halo 3 a few days ago I saw like 3 players repping full recon with only like 25 total wins and less than 75 gamerscore for halo 3.... Back when we had to earn recon, that would have been considered a crime Well, now I'm just rambling, let's get into the point. 343i havent really given us anying "challenging" like bungie has. I understand they are their own company, but one of the best things to do in halo 3 was to earn a piece of armor that everyone desired to have, wether it was killing yourself with a sniper headshot, death by construction cones, creating awesome forge maps, or getting those 7 vidmasters. It gave people an incentive to strive to be more competitive in the campaign and online. Getting back to the topic, Since halo 5 is slowly on its way here, I think 343i needs to hype their game a little further by introducing "veteran" halo awards for those that completed vidmasters in a certain time period, or obtained recon by death by cone, or the cool maps made back then. Also, mabe introducing new "recon" type introductions for the new halo 5 like vidmasters and armor. This will draw people in to playing halo 5 in droves.

Ok sweet, and it is showing up on my "rewards" tab under the halo waypoint section if you guys want to check for yourself on your console it should be there. But maybe ms will do an update to add it back to our actual avatar.

For some reason the beta tester shirt and hoodie for the halo reach avatar is no longer showing up as an avatar content, I checked today, and redownloaded it also and it is not showing up on my avatar clothing list. I've checked waypoint forums also, people are having the same issues. Just thought I should share.

IMO, they should give the people who completed the vidmasters at an early date the red flames, or some exclusive armor. I played halo3 yesterday and I saw a recruit using recon and he had like 10 online games played and 3 achievements, that's almost considered a crime
