Someone posted this concept art for a "Needler Shotgun" of sorts in a thread a while back... I don't remember what thread exactly but I thought it was an awesome idea for a new Covenant spin-off of the shotgun and the gun looked really cool! We debated how much damage it should deal per-shot and I think we came to an agreement that it should be a 2-hit kill, with the damage from the initial impact from the needles combined with the damage done by their explosions. We didn't talk about whether or not the gun would be a single shot weapon or full-auto, but it's a shotgun so I'd say would single shot. And obviously it can't zoom, it's a shotgun

Does Valve have something against making more than one sequel to their games or something? Hahaha, maybe Half Life 3 will be confirmed!

Well, I mean... if H2 Anniversary were to come out this fall, I'm fairly certain it wouldn't have its own standalone multiplayer and that's the one big reason everyone wants them to release the game! If it did have its own multiplayer, it would probably be bad for H5's sales... if it didn't, its own sales would tank.

Now that Halo 5 has been announced I'm beginning to realize H2 Anniversary really is no more than a pipe dream Still looking forward to Halo 5 though!!

As you all know very well, E3 2014 is right around the corner and there have been a lot of rumors floating around about the new game announcements that are going to be made. So, I thought it would be a cool idea to make a thread for all of us to post our 'game announcement wishlists' in, no matter how far out or ridiculously unrealistic they may be (and I encourage you to make ridiculous wishes). I'll start with my personal wishlist, which is probably going to be the most (intentionally) unrealistic of the bunch red wishes = super unrealistic yellow wishes = kinda realistic green wishes = pretty realistic - A new Burnout game! My, oh my, how I have longed for Criterion to make a new Burnout game for the longest time. I got into the series when Burnout 3 came out (I rented the game, played it all the way through in one night, and ended up buying it later). That game was like no other racing game I had ever played... it was hectic, it had a phenomenal soundtrack, and it was just perfect for me. Sadly, none of the Burnout games' online services are available anymore... not even my beloved Burnout Paradise (only 6 years old)... hopefully one day the franchise will return. It's my favorite racing series of all time! - Halo 2: Anniversary OR Halo 5 (any new Halo game, basically) I really don't know exactly what I want from Halo right now. I liked Halo 4 but it didn't grab me like Halo 3 did... the Battle Rifle returned and I was really happy about that, the game had amazing graphics, and the custom games were cooler and more creative than ever... but still, I prefer Halo 3 for some odd reason. I'm really open to whatever new Halo game is supposedly being released this year... whether it be Halo 2: Anniversary or Halo 5, doesn't matter. I just want a new Halo game to play on my Xbox One!! - A new Crazy Taxi game! This was another game that played a big role in shaping me into the sorry excuse for a person I am today! I used to play the original Crazi Taxi on the... I wanna say Dreamcast(?)... when my uncle had Halo CE LAN parties at his apartment (so a long time ago) and it was one of the most amazing games I had ever played. All of the games had great soundtracks featuring songs from the bands I would end up listening to much later in life... The Offspring, Bad Religion... the list goes on and on. And the game was just fun to play! Crazy, chaotic, fun. I'd love another sequel. - Rock Band, Rock Band, Rock Band!! Though many believe the plastic instrument craze died off a long time ago, I'm still rockin' in the free world on Green Day Rock Band and Rock Band 3! Games like Rocksmith are way too serious for me and I think there's still somewhat of a demand for fun party games like Rock Band. It's a shame the music game genre's sales went down so quickly, mainly due to Guitar Hero over-saturating the market beyond belief... I think RB could make a comeback if Harmonix plays it safe and doesn't release a dozen games a year. Or, I at least hope it makes a comeback... - A Xbox One / PS4 / PC port for GTA V! (pwetty pwease, Rockstar) Nothing has been 100% confirmed yet and Rockstar has continually yanked our chain about whether or not this is actually going to happen but I think it would be a smart move in the long-run! I don't think GTA V's life-span will be nearly as long as it could be if it stays on the previous generation of consoles and doesn't make the move to XB1, PS4, and PC. A lot of people sold their old consoles to buy the new ones and I think GTA V could benefit from being ported to the new gen's systems and the PC. We could have bigger player counts in GTA Online matches (maybe 34 instead of 16? or possible even more, considering the size of the map), the game's graphics could be given a proper display, the render distance could be increased... there's so much that could be done to improve the game. I think releasing a port for the new consoles and the PC in September to honor the 1-year anniversary of the game's release on the 360 / PS3 would be a good move on Rockstar's part. I'd gladly pay $60 for the game again, and they could even take the opportunity to release GTA Online heists (finally) and maybe even an expansion to the single-player campaign! - More Burger King games! Okay, I don't actually want this to happen, hahaha! Burger King Pocket Bike Racer was pretty beast though... So that's what's on my wishlist. Now, what's on your wishlist?! Let me know!!

I've been wanting GTA V on the XB1 since I got the console in December but I'm starting to lose faith in them porting it every day that passes by... Hopefully they do it for the game's 1 year anniversary or something later this year? There's no way this is gonna be a new Midnight Club.

Yeah man, going back on Bungie.net and looking at all the awesome stuff people used to create makes me wanna go back in time to when Halo 3 had at least 100,000 people online 24/7 and Griffball weekends were something to look forward to. 'Twas a simpler time.

Honestly, I'd be okay with waiting another year (or at least a few more months) for Halo 5. I still enjoy every aspect of Halo 3 and Halo 4 has really good custom games. I just think both MS and 343 want to get a new full-fledged Halo title out A.S.A.P. to kick Halo 4 under the rug. We'll see what E3 holds in a few weeks though!

For sure! It sucks that there isn't more of a focus on creating cool screenshots like these ones on the newer Halo games. It's something that really made Halo 3 unique for me and it makes me wish 343 would have carried on hosting H3 files online, like Bungie.net used to

It's all good, man! I've had a few people mention problems with it being too late at night where they are so I'll be sure to take time-zones into consideration when hosting from here on out. Next time it will probably be mid-afternoon on a Sunday or something like that. Then everyone will be able to join in on the action

I don't know about you guys but whenever I was in a pre-game lobby on Halo 3, I'd pass time by checking out the file shares of other people in the lobby, in search of a laugh or an awesome picture snapped at just the right moment. Over time, I probably viewed thousands of screenshots... Most were funny, others were epic, and some were beautiful and made me wonder how they had even been created in the game. It's interesting that you say this because I was just reading an article Kotaku wrote about the exact same thing after the big reveal yesterday. They talked to Phil Spencer (one of the big guys at MS / Xbox) about it and he said they are planning on making it so headsets can be used for voice commands because he knows "voice is important to a lot of people and I'd like to unlock that for as many people as we can." Here's a little bit of the interview: "Obviously, without Kinect involved, the scenario you bring up is something we've thought a lot about with headsets... people own phones today with a microphone .. there are other things we could do. It's part of our discussions about how to use the investment we've made in voice to make sure it's available to as many people as possible."

It's kinda funny took look back on this now... Halo 3 may not have 100,000+ people online 100% of the time like it used to but its daily population is still greater than Halo 4's. And that's kinda sad for H4, actually.
