Pros: - This game is probably unlike any other Halo game i've ever played (In a good way - It keeps things fresh) - New gametypes (Dominion & Regicide) are pretty awesome - Promethian weapons are pretty cool as well - again, keeping things fresh - Campaign is a fair length & isn't impossible to beat on Legendary - Sprint is available as a default now, instead of being an armor ability Cons: - Not nearly enough maps - Co-op campaign still lags like hell - Numerical ranking, as opposed to levels (Sergeant, General, etc.) - Spartan Ops is kinda disappointing as well (would have been fine with more Firefight) - Hit detection in Matchmaking is a bit off at times - File sharing/browsing doesn't work AT ALL - No search preferences - a step back from the Halo: Reach matchmaking system Other than those few cons, I am enjoying this new game a lot more than I thought I would. I was pretty skeptical about how good this game would be with 343 at the helm, and I have to admit that I was surprised by their work.

I like both games, but I think it's obvious that people will play the newer game in a series. Everyone complains about how much Modern Warfare 3 sucks and how good Black Ops is, but there are still more people on MW3 than Black Ops... People will complain to no end, but at the end of the day, will still play the newer game just because it's new! According to my xbox live history, I haven't played Halo 3 in months. I still thoroughly enjoy playing that game and prefer it to Halo: Reach in some aspects, yet I play Reach more for some reason.

I think that option 3 would make the most sense, considering leaderboard stats usually update faster than a person ranks up, making it a more accurate interpretation of how skilled the player is at the game. I'd like it if they returned to Halo 3's playlist system (social playlists, and competative playlists) though.

I don't think they are planning to add anything else onto Halo: Reach in the last few months before Halo 4 is released... I mean, there are only 4 months left until the new game is released so they wouldn't really get any mileage out of additional DLC for the game that's out right now. It'd be nice to have something to hold us over for the last few months, but it's highly unlikely and they probably wouldn't make any money.

Glad you enjoyed! That part during the second one when he got hit by the other drop pod almost made me piss my pants! I'll post more as they get uploaded.

I've been trying to get into a stockpile match too but sadly have not had any success I almost got into one in Swat but it got passed when voting in the lobby. Swat probably gives you the option of playing Stockpile the most. I'll add you and we can play a little to hopefully get into a game of stockpile.

Check out this brand spankin' new Machinima made from cut-scenes in both Halo 3 and ODST. It's called "Halo is Dum" and it's one of the most diverse machinima videos i've seen in a while. Here are the links to the 2 current episodes that have been released along with descriptions of the episodes: Episode 1 is focused around sammiches and boredom. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUaOkrTpjyo&feature=channel_video_title Episode 2 Reveals the true story of Master Chief. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjSDpGWFpqQ&feature=relmfu Subscribe to the creator for more episodes (he's putting them out pretty quickly), and leave feedback in the comments below.

I don't know too much about mass effect but the color schemes on the weapons are similar to tradition covenant weapon color schemes and they look somewhat halo-esque. Also, good to know the sparrowhawk IS called the sparrowhawk and was in Halo: Wars.

Possible Weapons (Not sure of any names): First of all, these look like covenant weapons but also, notice the resemblance of the P90 from CoD4 some of these weapons have. Also, some resemble the F2000 from Modern Warfare 2 (which means some of these could possibly be re-skinned call of duty weapons) while others have crystal-looking objects under the barrels, possibly bayonettes? This one is supposed to be the Halo 4 model of the AR. If you look at it you can see there is a scope, which might mean that the AR is returning as a precision rifle. It also has iron sights and what looks to be a flashlight attachment under the barrel and some type of laser pointer on the side. My guess is that if this is the actual AR model for Halo 4, it will not be a fully-automatic weapon. Possible Marine/Human vehicle: It's supposed to be called a Sparrow or Sparrowhawk or something of the sort. I'm not too sure if this is a vehicle from Halo: Wars or not because I have seen images of it on google inside of frames with Halo: Wars on the bottom. Anyways, it looks like a human variation of the banshee mixed with the hornet. It has 1 chain gun turret on both sides that look like they would either be controlled by passengers OR controlled via toggling weapons via the Y button to switch between the side turrets and the front turret (similar to the banshee's system of switching between the plasma cannon and regular plasma turret.) Leave your feedback on these images below and make sure to visit my website where we will try to keep you updated on all major halo 4 leaks.

Double XP wasn't too effective in terms of leveling up but it was fun running home from the bus stop on thursday afternoons (I think that's when they always started) and picking up the xbox controller to play grifball right when I walked through the door.

My theories are, A. it was some type of glitch that caused him to be stuck in Armor Lock, or B. He was in a loading screen (the one that has all of the players names) that causes people to freeze where they are.
-
Hey guys, On bungie day my friend and I were playing in the bungie day playlist and we came across someone who was armor lock whoring (what a surprise, right?). but one of the times he armor locked, he did it for 37 SECONDS! Click to watch. Please rate, comment and subscribe too

Warthogs have become a staple to the series so if they aren't in halo 4 i will be greatly dissapointed. I mean, at LEAST put them in the multiplayer!
-
Haha, I was talking to my friends about an idea like this yesterday!!!

The DMR, why it was a bad idea from the start...
Screech replied to ENP No Trace's topic in Halo Reach
The BR simply put, would not fit in halo: reach. Halo: Reach is slower-paced than halo 3 and it's more about taking time to kill someone. The BR was 4 bursts and you're dead, while the DMR is 5-8 (depending on if you spam and how good your internet is). Over-all, I think replacing the BR w/ the DMR was a smart move on Bungie's part because after having a set of weapons that's almost the same for 2 games it's time to change it up. -
Yeah, lower melee damage. Make it 3 hits. I like armor abilities but hate armor lock so I suggest they tweek the armor abilities/ add new ones and remove Camo and Armor lock. I want to see Head Hunter and Stockpile make a strong come back but I also want to see some new gametypes. Put a race playlist in matchmaking and have a good rotation of the top rated community race maps running in the playlist. I'd like to see an even set of Human and covanant weapons (reach had a weird ratio of them)... for example, if there's a shotgun there's also a mauler... I have faith that 343i will do the series justice.

I think that i'm gonna be sticking with Reach and CE: Anniversary until Halo 4 comes out. We all know MW3 is going to turn into another heap of **** that Infinity Ward neglect and all the CoD fanboys are gonna buy BF3 and then go back to CoD yet again because they suck at battlefield. I'd say that in my book, CE: Anniversary is the only game worth spending your money on until Halo 4 comes out.
-
I think it's a great idea but what i'd be worried about is how the framerate would handle all the flood running around!
-
New things to work at and keep you busy are always good No matter what it is it'll give you something to work at getting.
-
Ummmmmm.... 6 map packs is 60$ buddy... maybe a "classic" map pack or something would be good until CE comes out. If they ever do a classic map pack or something of the sort i'd be willing to pay 10$ for Guardian, Beaver Creek and Valhalla.
