Ok, so I'll start this post off by saying this isn't going to be your typical recruiting post, because we are looking for specific types of gamers. Anyways, hello my name is Camaro a.k.a Darkseid, and I am posting on behalf of my clan/gaming community DGS. I am the creator of DGS and we are a new semi military styled clan. We have a ranking structure, but our rules are pretty laid back. Currently we have one squad, and it's in Black Ops 3, but I want to open a squad in Halo 5 since the Halo series has always been my favorite. Currently, none of our members have Halo 5 (except myself obviously), so I am looking for people who would be interested in leading a Halo 5 squad. Obviously you have to have some leadership qualities (prior experience in military styled clans is a plus). After some deep internal debates, I've decided not to sell my Xbox 360. So I kinda wanna start up a competitive Halo 3&4 competitive team. So first and foremost, this is not a clan, this a a team. Meaning there will probably be 4 main players and possibly 2 back up players. Secondly, it's not going to be the most serious team. I literally just started playing Halo again a few days ago so I'm still a bit "rusty", but overall I'd say I'm a slightly above average skilled player. When I say the team won't be overly serious I mean it's gonna be a lot of scrims, MLG matchmaking, and just practice. until we all feel comfortable actually competing in some online ladders. I'm not looking for the most skilled players, I'm just looking for players who have a basic knowledge of MLG maps and gametypes, who are also willing to improve personally and as a team. Lastly, we'll obviously be playing Halo 3 & 4, but I hope to be able to "migrate" the team in to Halo The Master Chief Collection when that comes out. Very true. I know personally I'm going to enjoy MCC whether it brings MLG back to the table or not.

I mean I honestly hope there is a bundle because like many here I don't have an Xbox One yet

Was talking with a guy at gamestop and he doesn't think there is going to be a bundle for the MCC but we both agreed that they'll probably make one for Halo 5

I honestly think the MCC is gonna bring alot of comeptitive players back, because most of their favorite Halos we're Halo 2 & 3. So if the Halo 5 beta does well I feel like it will influence many of them to buy the game, so hopefully one of the gaming circuits picks it up or something.

Hello everyone, I've been playing Halo since Halo 2 off an on. I played Halo 2 and 3 almost religiously but didn't enjoy anything about Halo Reach and Halo 4 besides the campaign. Honestly I stopped playing video games all together, due to work and living situations, but with recent announcement of Halo: The Master Chief Collection I plan on buy an Xbox One sometime before November 11th. Anyways, I hope to be able to play with a bunch of you guys once I get a new console. I enjoy playing competitively (MLG) and I also enjoy fooling around in custom games & forge.

I've been playing Halo for many years (since Halo 2). I've thoroughly enjoyed most of the campaigns, but the thing that usually keeps me playing the game up until the next Halos release is the multiplayer. Now I'll admit I didn't absolutely hate Halo 4 but I do think 343 dropped the ball on alot of things, and is the reason why many "professional gaming circuits" like MLG haven't pick up the game. Personally, I love playing Halo competitively it's one of my favorite aspects about the game, and I love MLG and playing it's competitive game variations. While I don't disagree that Halo 4 was a competitive game, I do feel as though it was lacking certain aspects that would make it thrive on the market, as well as the professional circuit. I hope they (343i) correct all of their past mistakes in Halo 5 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. I also hope they can make it a well rounded a fun game for all players casual or competitive. I see that they're releasing a multiplayer beta which is great start IMO.
