  1. You deserve a like simply because your name has to do with LOTR.
  2. LOL Twinreaper those were hilarious comments, I extend thanksgiving to you.
  3. Brutes don't need to snipe. Even if the option was there, what Brute would choose to snipe? Even Elites don't like to snipe. Elites haven't changed really, they have always been adaptable fighters. The only thing diff now is they aren't fawning over San Shyuum to make weapons and tech for them. So they are becoming what they were before the Prophets...proud Elites who look up to Arbiters. Brutes will be Brutes, they are huge, powerful, daunting, impatient, thirsty for war, their history reflects that. They aren't becoming calm, logical, and thoughtful b/c the Covenant failed, they will most likely fall apart with fighting.
  4. Strange problem! Have you tried accessing Nightfall in different ways/avenues? For example, if accessing it through the Xbox One Dashboard isn't working, perhaps you can try accessing Nightfall through MCC itself. And vice versa. I doubt this will bypass the issue, but I figured I'd suggest something.
  5. I'm not sure that's a good idea, I'd rather have many ranting angry people in a single thread instead of them making their own threads and polluting the rest of the forum...!
  6. I would think the Brutes would adopt a more brutal, crude, medieval kind of weapon. Take a look at all of their weapon or weapon variants. Your suggestion is too much like the UNSC Rail Gun and not Brutish enough, need something different. The "Bow" is a good idea though, for it is an old style weapon, one perhaps the Brutes could be fond of. If the projectile is similar to a giant arrow (or black arrow from LOTR, used to damage ancient Dragons) it would be very cool. Thing is, a bow is kinda not the style of a Brute. Sit back and snipe? No no, a Brute wants to be in on the action, taste the blood and smell the fear secreted by their enemies. Brute Shot: Has a sharp, curved blade for a powerful melee. Simple explosive grenades as well. Gravity Hammer: An enhanced hammer. Pure futuristic melee weapon. The "gravity" addition makes sense with a hammer...something that inflicts damage with kinetic energy powered by muscle would benefit from some tech buffs. In this instance, additional gravity/force/anti-gravity tech. Spiker: Perhaps a nod to prehistoric/pre-Covenant Brute weapondry, this weapon is crude by intention. Propels giant, super-heated spikes to pierce, burn, and impale targets. An ideal Brute weapon, fundamentally. Brute Plasma Rifle: Perhaps the least Brute of any known Brute affiliated weapon. It fires faster and thus overbears the tech faster, a nod to the Brute's impatience and lust for violence at the cost of weapon efficiency. Also can be seen as an argumentative move against the Elites. Brutes taking their place in the Covenant, and changing/defacing the Elite's weapons. If the Brutes were to have a Sniper weapon, it would have to have a crude edge to it. A weapon like the Railgun wouldn't fit because it is simply too much like UNSC and their preferred tech. Sleek, fast, efficient, futuristic. The Brutes would use a more brutal weapon, with simpler tech that can inflict gruesome, or perhaps gory, injuries. All in all, I do not think a sniper weapon would fit the Brutes. Maybe a mid-range weapon, but not a sniping.
  7. I haven't read the books in a while...I forget individual Spartans. I should re-read em soon.
  8. Looking for people to add for MCC :) Tell me your Xbox One GT here and I will add you! (So far I only have Blake & Turkey)

  9. I actually played 2 BTB games last night My fav one was at Ice Fields (Halo CE)...I played Halo PC religiously, years ago, so I'm kinda beast at H1...
  10. Haha seinfeld reference I don't know all of their lines...I love everything they say hehe...RUN AWAYYYYY
  11. spam spam spam I will play IF you will be playing any vehicle maps.
  12. I agree, when I saw those end game poses I cringed. So corny and lame. My beloved Spartans are being transformed into immature fools on the sports field. My ideal Spartan is what Halsey achieved with the Spartan IIs. Not the mock Spartans of H4. Spartans are becoming arrogant, self-righteous, show-offy. Mainly because instead of being Spartans many are your basic buttface humans in Spartan suits.
  13. Absolutely no excuse? I can think of a near infinite number of excuses. That phrase is overused.
  14. At last, a well thought out post about problems one has experienced! I have seen countless rage "I w1ll return 7he gAmeee!"... "this iz UNACCEPTABLEEERRRRR" posts...so yours is quite refreshing Don't worry too much, I'm pretty sure 343 is on the ball! I've seen they have worked on adjusting hitboxes, although I'm unsure if they will adjust the classic games (Halo 1,2,3) settings...many people want to keep fully original games.
  15. Hm quite an odd issue. Follow Maggie's advice, visit waypoint, perhaps another has encountered the same issue. Sorry, I can't help much.
  16. Eh who wants to play campaign with a person who considers campaign boring...JUST SAYIN
  17. I like running through the elements. Water, fire, earth, air. #avatarthelastpikabender
  18. VERY COOL. I'd love to play a part in our space exploration or perhaps encounters with alien races. Sometimes I fear I am not intelligent enough to be selected/hired for such a task. I believe that human imagination is nearly parallel with predicting the future, or possible futures. So yes, a future along the lines of Halo lore can indeed be possible. Space flight, interstellar wars, super-soldiers, beauty, loss, betrayal, love, anger, deception, all emotions and events that are almost certainly in our future. My fear is that we will not reach this future. If we destroy ourselves...with atomic/nuclear weapons, with civil strife, with not taking care of our homeworld...we may never reach such a destiny. Just as it's entirely possible that Humanity can attain such a high level of intellect, technology, and strength, it is indeed equally possible that we fail horribly... and fad away from the universe, as nothing but a distant memory.
  19. It can be quite complex. No, it hasn't. Nothing like this. MCC is the first of it's kind as far as I can remember. They are trying 24/7 to fix it, with updates. It's logical to say that, essentially, it's a guarantee the game will be A-OK in time. Pretty sure that's not going to happen.
  20. Pretty sure this thread is concerned with website suggestions, not game suggestions... Also, this IS NOT 343 Industries' website and no one here is 343.
