MLG Halo 3 "November Man" Tournament
UnrealFlash2007 replied to I_Make_Big_Boom's topic in Halo: The Master Chief Collection
It's a shame Halo 3's aiming is so god awful, if only there wasn't as much aim acceleration/assist and it wasn't outlined on a grid. So many people could be on this if it wasn't. Considering MLG is nothing but a Grenade spamfest anyway, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. -
A PC could handle Halo 3, but it doesn't have the capability to handle MCC, certainly not without a metric ton of graphics cards, and a reasonably sized hard drive. Considering most PC's only have 4 GB of RAM compared to the Xbox One's 8, I sincerely doubt they'd bring the MCC to PC. Halo 3 could definitely come to the PC, but MCC would just hurt the Xbox One sales. Also taking into account most of the PC gamers have low-mid end PC's, about 40 or so million of Steam Users, it's absolutely pointless, when the Xbox One is clearly better suited to handle it.

What's the story behind YOUR gamertag?
UnrealFlash2007 replied to PhoenixStone's topic in General Discussion
I named it after a flash game of the exact same. Not sure I like it as much as I used to though. -
Halo MCC Looking for a team?
UnrealFlash2007 replied to BR Variant's topic in Halo: The Master Chief Collection
It's a little bit early to be looking for a team, it comes out in November. -
It's bad enough people can't fight their own battles without me getting triple teamed, or grenades constantly killing me with little effort, but yoinking is plain low. It's the equivalent of getting an assist for a kill you got times 100.

Master Chief Collection on PC !?!
UnrealFlash2007 replied to SPARTAN 117's topic in Halo: The Master Chief Collection
I really wish there was more actual thought into topics on this board than "OMG I WANT HALO ON TEH PC XDDDD" It's not coming to the PC, Halo 3 maybe, But a PC couldn't handle MCC in the first place, to large for most PC's unless you can afford to spend £2000 on a graphics card plus a PC that can actually run it, along with any other game. 343 said it wouldn't come to the PC, they're trying to up the sales of the Xbox One, of which it almost assuredly will Besides if you're really the "Mastur race" why not play some of your PC games? Or are they not interesting enough people have to beg for a new title?- 6 replies

Halo 5 wishlist for 343industries.
UnrealFlash2007 replied to Thel Vadam's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
The problem is most of Halo 4's maps are linear, small and seeing a lot of combat in one area. So you'l never get a long range kill on most of the maps, so you have to go into close combat, where even with perfect aim, you're ruthlessly outgunned. The Halo reach AR was balanced, I could get kills with it, but a person with a DMR or Pistol wasn't hopelessly outgunned. -
What I want from a Halo game (Wishlist)
UnrealFlash2007 replied to Zealot Killer's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
I can't quote you for some reason. Most of these aren't gamebreaking but I feel the weapon add-on thing would change the purpose of the original gun and make some worthless. Also it seems unbalanced. Halo 5 wishlist for 343industries.
UnrealFlash2007 replied to Thel Vadam's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
Make the Assualt Rifle less OP. It can't be beaten at close range (which is where all the fighting takes place because of this games ridiculously symetric maps), and it net's kids an easy and cheap kill. Also I'd consider buffing the Carbine and Lightrifle, or at least having the light rifle shoot faster -
What I want from a Halo game (Wishlist)
UnrealFlash2007 replied to Zealot Killer's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
1. If you shoot a body blood comes out anyway, problem solved 2. Or just remove sprint all together and keep Halo, Halo. 3. It was too OP, it allowed people to jump out of danger when outgunned. 4. No. Remove all of them 5. ODST's are a weaker spartan, why do you want that? 6. Halo 3's Elite customisation was superior, you could change the helmet, pauldrons, and torso. 7. No, that would look hideous. 8. Definitely no, whether you like it or not, that's exactly like COD. Weapons are OP enough 9. Why? One energy sword is already an insta kill, it's a waste of time. 10. Which was complete ****, health packs were no where and you were screwed against someone with full health 11. Sounds to gimmicky. Wouldn't work in anything but Infection 12. Scarabs and Locusts can be a campaign enemy, but Shadow and Spectre, along with Prowler I'd love to see return in Multiplayer. 13. Don't make any customisable actually Spear sounds OP. Flamethrower was weak and didn't work. Those guns look like generic Borderlands weapons, wouldn't use them. 14. Useless, doesn't actually add anything to multiplayer 15. Yes. 16. Armour effects were good, but too costly. I'd lower the price. -
343i You are about to ruin Halo 2 with a Skull!
UnrealFlash2007 replied to Ark's topic in Halo: The Master Chief Collection
People can turn on whatever skulls they want. I mostly used the bandana skull on legendary in Anniversary because Shotgun ammo was so hard to find and you're constantly being bombarded by flood. I don't know how much time you have to waste, but I have other things to do than stay hid up in my room playing Halo. I want to finish the mission without dying 100 times. No one's forcing you to use it. Beating anything on legendary is a challenge, Bandana or not. -
Maulers, SMGS, definitely. Along with that the Halo 3 Energy Sword physics. It's not really a new weapon but it could actually stand a chance against the Gravity Hammer, and it actually took skill to win a sword fight, rather than luck It depended on your use of the melee (B button) and how fast you can react, it was great fun. Add the Covenant Needle Rifle as well, as it was one of my best weapons, and it would balance out the DMR/BR weapons

Explosion/power weapon/grenade overuse.
UnrealFlash2007 replied to UnrealFlash2007's topic in Halo Reach
"Halo is all about map control. Least it used to be. In Reach, if your team uses power weapons and certain positions on the map effectively you will gain map control. And if you know how to do it right, you can "set up" on the enemy's side of the map and suppress them, quite often to the point of spawn killing. Of course, communication and callouts are key, and all of that combined wont get you anywhere without at least a small bit of skill." I'm not new to Halo necessarily, been playing since 2007. Halo 3, where again Grenade spam was prevalent. In reach, map control can be gained, but if you haven't got sprint, or some ability that allows you to immediately rush to the nearest power weapons, there's nothing a normal DMR or assault rifle can do to counter it, other than hope the user has a god-awful aim or used up his ammo previously. It's even worse when your team is incompetent half the time, and so you're hopelessly gunned down by most players. As for grenades, good luck not getting slaughtered by them either, Armour lock doesn't last long enough to save you from the endless barrage of grenades hurled at you, people like to run away and throw a few grenades and get a cheap kill rather than spend time actually aiming their gun. -
Explosion/power weapon/grenade overuse.
UnrealFlash2007 replied to UnrealFlash2007's topic in Halo Reach
Map control? Pretty sure that just revolves around luck actually. You spawn next to a rocket launcher, you're definitely going to get a few kills, you don't? You're ******. There's no counter to it, so if a guy camps around the spawn point, you can't do much to get it yourself. Problem with SWAT is that it's a one shot kill, which also just involves you see the enemy first rather than aim. -
Explosion/power weapon/grenade overuse.
UnrealFlash2007 replied to UnrealFlash2007's topic in Halo Reach
Thing is, I never seem to spawn beside the power weapons, or care to know where they are. Along with that I feel cheap using them, so I rarely do, unless taking out a scorpion or Wraith camped outside my spawn point. -
Reclaimer, it reminded me of "The Ark" in a way. In both you board a massive vehicle (Scarab, Lich) and blow it up from the inside, and are in a desert for the most part. Along with that it's one of the only levels not absolutely covered in Prometheans like Midnight or Shutdown. Covenant are much more fun to fight by far.

Halo 2 or 3. Halo 4's soundtrack was the most unmemorable soundtrack I ever heard, I can't remember one piece from it.
-
Hero, if I played more I could be even Forerunner, as I was Hero for what 2 years now? Armour is just Green because green's best colour.
-
Not one, single gametype in Halo Reach doesn't have a cluster of 10 year olds bolting for the nearest power weapon/rocket launcher or lobbing grenades everywhere and then running away when I shoot them with the DMR. It's absolutely ridiculous, Armour lock doesn't help because either you don't have enough time to use it, or his buddies come up and gangbang your helpless soon to be lifeless body. I'm well aware this is a community forum but there's no way in hell this can be seen as skilled. I've been killed by Power Weapons, and grenades (or to be more accurate, heat-seeking missiles) more often than by normal weapons. Why not just have a playlist with no Power Weapons and no grenades? I'm not aware if MLG has those settings and I can't find a match regardless. And even though my K/D is positive, I still don't know why because I'm killed twenty trillion times by someone chucking grenades like a monkey into whatever room I'm in and getting a cheap kill. Does anyone know a playlist without Grenades and Powerweapons that isn't Grifball?

Spartan Ops (season) 2 general ideas and wishes.
UnrealFlash2007 replied to Coldfreeze's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
1. Kill off Sarah Palmer please. I don't care how just please, I beg you. 2. Less repetitivity in missions, I find my self playing the same level in the same environment a lot of the time. 3. Make the UNSC seem less like a terrorist organisation than in season 1. 4. No more endless streams of crawlers (I don't know if this is posted in a topic elsewhere, but I seem to have trouble posting without clicking "More Reply Options", as the "Post" button doesn't respond. And when I do, even if I leave a space between sentences, it crams them together, like you see when you read my post, does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong or what?)- 17 replies

GUNGOOSE GU-GU-GU-GUNGOOSE!!!!!!
UnrealFlash2007 replied to Is not JL's topic in Halo: The Master Chief Collection
There's no way in hell you can compare it to a Ghost. Ghosts control a thousand times better, are more stable, and have a boost function. Unless you're desperate I see no reason to use a gungoose over it, unless it's fire rate is faster or more powerful in comparison -
Is this thread a basis for kids to scream "OMG LE PC MASTUR RACE XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD"?. Looking at the posts I'm assuming so. BTW PC's couldn't handle the collection in the first place, let alone factor in low res mods. Halo has been an Xbox exclusive for ages now, and the only way the Xbox One's going to make money right now is through it. Considering it's low game library right now

Sounds sort of gimmicky. The controls would be awful considering Mongoose mechanics right now at that. -
Hopes and Dreams for HALO 5
UnrealFlash2007 replied to Arionis Chambers's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
1. Remove Grenades entirely, all of them. I've been killed by unskilled players with grenades to many times in all halo games I have played since halo 3. They're impossible to avoid once thrown at, as the blast radius is to large for anyone to escape. They can be easily picked up with the new perks, allowing an essentially infinite use of grenades. They outpower BR's, DMR's, Carbines, and Light Rifles and allow people who's aiming is mediocre at best to get kills without a hint of effort. 2. Remove Rocket Launcher. Unavoidable, overpowered, and with far to much ammo. Plus they can be found on every map in the series. Which makes it impossible to counter or not fear. 3. Really no cover system, crouch is all you need. The last thing we need is this series becoming even more of generic FPS. 4. If you add the Light Rifle again, make it useful. As it fires to slow to keep up with the DMR and BR. 5. Add a UNSC flying vehicle. The Hornet and Falcon balanced out aerial battles, as a counter or rival to Banshee. Without them Banshees have a massive advantage over people fighting on the Ground. 6. A more memorable campaign. Most of it was either on a forerunner ship, and one in a forest and desert, and only for a remote period of time. Halo 3 had a Jungle, hydroelectric plant, UNSC base, African plain with a highway, a Traxus industrial complex, crashed flood structure, a massive desert area with structures inbetween, a grassy area (the covenant), alpines (the covenant) with a citadel enclosed in it, a flood infested High Charity, and another snowy area with a Warthog run at the end. This kind of variety made the previous campaigns enjoyable. 7. Larger variety of Enemies. This speaks for itself. Even with Prometheans the roster was still lacking compared to previous games. 8. Let us find the skulls, rather than getting them off the bat. It allowed for great co-operation and thinking to get the skulls, as well as a sense of achievement. 9. Increase the skill gap, make it take more skill to get kills simply. I don't want all of these, but some of them would greatly enhance the game. Now go on complain to me about grenades and RL's
