The campaign was pretty fun, shorter than I expected, and not terribly difficult, even on legendary. The disposition of the Didact confuses me because if he is Bornstellar (not saying this most recent Didact is, but I have no reason to believe otherwise at this point), why does he despise humanity so? After all the work he did with humans? I suppose the 343i writers aren't following deep Halo fiction awfully deep (which they do not have to), so I guess it's safe to assume that "Forerunner = Bad" in all circumstances when it comes to the game. And it would have been nice to see the Librarian, such an important figure in Halo lore, play a larger part in the game. Nevertheless, still fun, but I like past titles a little better.

finished solo legendary, overall wasnt terribly difficult at all, perhaps equally difficult throughout

I thought it was pretty easy. Easier than Halo 2 for sure.

doing solo legendary today. 5 missions down, all actually pretty easy except for Forerunner, left me raging for like an hour lol

just finished spartan ops solo legendary. other than the third mission, it was pretty easy

Nope, I'm buying Gamma Gamer instead! No sugar, and you mix it with water to create a delicious drink! It's a stimulant as well, so it's a nice substitute for Mountain Dew

I'm pretty sure Johnson was killed by Guilty Spark after he attempted to arm the new Installation 04 while it was still under construction on the Ark. Not to mention he probably would not have survived an explosion that nearly completely destroyed the Ark, assuming he did survive Guilty Spark's attack. Nonetheless, Halo will be missing one of its greatest characters for the continuation of the series.

the story changed when someone decided to make halo more than a game, so a new story isnt a new concept. Campaign wise, i believe halo 3 was the best while ce and odst followed behind. other than armor abilities, i thought reach was excellent though so many people complain about it, not to mention reach bore the best gameplay experience IMO. I think 343 is fusing reach's gameplay and improved engine with a classic halo story.

the only ones i cant get are Paper Beats Rock, You Ate All The Chips, and Don't Touch That!. i actually got If The Came To Hear Me Beg really easily (I can make a vid how if someone wants to know) and just about all the campaign achievements were pretty easy, maybe the most difficult being A Monument to All Your Sins. The multiplayer ones seem to rely heavily on luck/timing.
