  1. come on guys get your facts straight! The fact that John 117 has spent some of his life in cryo sleep does not change when he was born. Also, Sierra is not a name but John's callsign while the soldiers searched for him when he crashed into Africa at the beginning of Halo 3.
  2. it sounds like you want halo to be non fictional. unless you have something constructive to say, keep the opinions to yourself
  3. if there is another made, a will be by one of the studios Ensemble broke into
  4. well anything that deters spawn killing should be present, even if that means adding more spawn points
  5. "...send me out... with a bang." -- Last words of Sergeant Avery Johnson
  6. Vanilla Grifball is my personal favorite gametype. It seems a lot of people really hate grifball because it is imperfect and many times you are pitted with a "not so preferred" team. Grifball's 2 major flaws are friendly fire and spawn killing. Many times teammates will kill other teammates for the pleasure of ruining the game and wrecking others' k/d spread. Many good players enjoy waiting at the other team's spawn line and wait for players to immediately kill. These 2 detriments can be easily fixed if Bungie would simply turn off friendly fire and somehow not allow gravity hammer boosting, and by adding new spawn points at various other points on each team's side so spawn killers will actually have to fight for kills and, God willing, actually play the game the way it is supposed to be played. Vote "Yes" in any of the 2 offered languages if you agree.
  7. dude dont hate on 343 for remaking ce. its a new experience for some and an enhanced experience for others.
  8. Truly i dont mind either way, each option has its own defects, so i guess its just best to see what happens when the game comes out and be happy with it
  9. I say get rid of all of the armor abilities or just leave sprint for everybody because most are not really that useful and noobs using armor lock piss me off Leave the reticle "bloom" effect. People are just complaining because now they have to concentrate their shots and become a better shooter. I will say that the bloom be less active with the pistol, though, so it cam at least match up to the DMR in SWAT. I'm alright with the new ranking system because, in truth, rank will never show true ability. Sure, now there are a bunch of highly ranked kids that actually suck at multiplayer but just have a ton of play time so they are higher ranked, but in Halo 3 there were tons of good players that were significantly low ranked because they didnt like having to play ranked matches and it was hell ranking up via social matches. In Halo 4 they will go back to Halo 2/3 esq health/armor system instead of the Reach/CE system because Reach & CE utilized the Mark V MJOLNIR armor, which used health bars while Halo 2 & 3 utilized the Mark VI MJONIR armor, which was just an armor power bar. Simply because Halo 4 will take place directly after 3 confirms that the armor bar will be used, should 343 want to retain accuracy. Weaken the grenade power but retain the blast radius Make consistent melee attacks a little faster and I will be a happy camper.
  10. woah great song choice. timing and feel was perfect
  11. Gracias SJ, I know Stockpile used to be on Premium Battle and Team Objective but I guess Bungie changed it.
  12. haha when I was making this topic I actually did type the title as Grasslands. like 2 minutes later I saw that and changed it lol
  13. I have been trying like hell to find stockpile matches lately in order to get the infamous You Ate All the Chips achievement, the only Halo Reach achievement I have not achieved. I played through dozens objective DLC matches, Team Objective matches, and BTB matches but to no avail (except for one time playing BTB I saw the Stockpile gametype available). Which gametype most frequently dishes out Stockpile matches? PS: If you would like to try to get this achievement with me, just message my GT-- HaLord20 for possible party construction. I'll try not to be a bullet magnet lol
  14. As I'm sure quite a few of you already know, a brand new Halo novel will be released this year. Due for release on October 25th, the story is supposed to fall into the Halo timeline during the Halo 3 phase, maybe a little after the events of Halo: Ghosts of Onyx by Eric Nylund occur. The story will not be about the Spartans but rather the activities of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, the Office of Naval Intelligence, and the creator of the SPARTAN-II program, Dr. Catherine Halsey. The novel will be known as Halo: Glasslands by acclaimed science fiction author Karen Traviss, the author of many bestselling Star Wars and Gears of War novels. Rumor has it that that Frank O'Connor has involved himself in the development of this novels plot, so the story may be relevant to the Halo timeline from the games' point of view, making this novel even more interesting. Like I mentioned before, Glasslands is due for release October 25, 2011. Die hard Halo fans will not want to miss this.
  15. I wouldn't expect a UNSC outpost to be on that planet because they would have received Cortana's beacon long ago
  16. I doubt there will be alot of human weapons but I'm sure 343 will find a way to place plenty more than we'd think. So I think the AR, BR, and possibly even DMR will appear in Halo 4, but I would also expect a variety of foreign weapons. Keep in mind that nobody knows what planet the remains of Forward Unto Dawn approached - could be Forerunner, Precursor (should there be any left undiscovered), or maybe even a Covenant occupied planet for all we know. As long as it is not a Flood occupied planet I will be happy lol
  17. nobody is whining or suggesting
