Hi All First off I am a HUGE Halo fan. I rarely post on forums, but I'm so disappointed with Halo, that I need to ask some questions. 1) Why is Halo Matchmaking so buggy? It should have never been released in the state it's in. 343 Head Bonnie Ross has admitted that there are major unforeseen problems with this game and that 343 are working hard to resolve the issues over the coming weeks. She also said that these issues did not occur on there internal test systems. One of two thing happened here. This was either not tested properly (IE the tests were rubbish) or the tests were hard core and revealed the problems but 343 released the game anyway. I would imagine 343 were well aware of the issues prior to release date and released the game broken in the hope that they would be able to patch and fix it quickly. (This seems to be common in the game industry in the last few months). But clearly this is not the case for Halo MCC. We are actually getting to the stage now as consumers where by you'd be mad to buy a game on release day, as there now seems to be a high probability that there will be issues with it. I'll certainly never buy a game on release day again. The game is out 2 weeks already and there is no fix in sight. We could be looking at another few weeks before this is fixed. I started playing Halo at 10pm this evening and finished up at midnight. In that time I played 5 or 6 games each of which lasted approx 7/8 mins. The rest of the time was spent waiting................. The other issue I noticed is that I am unable to get friends into the same game session as me, or vice versa So this means I can't even play against my own friends, so I'm snookered either way. 2) Digital copy owners being offered refund, Where's mine? Why are digital copy owners getting a refund and people that actually got off their asses and went down to the shop to buy the game aren't? I paid the same amount of money that a digital copy owner did, I should be offered one too. (by God I'd take it) This is another slap in the face as far as I can see from 343. I understand that they want to push digital copies of games these days, but there are 2 things they need to understand here; the first being that I cant trade in a digital copy of a game when buying a new one and second; some of us have download limits or our Internet connection is <20Mb/s Wrap up: I hope a rep from 343 responds to this, I'm very disappointed. Halo 2 changed the way we play games online 10 years ago. It was THE big game changer. This buggy remake of such an important game is such an anti climax. I paid for a working game, this game is not working (some will argue it's complicated etc, to them I say "I don't care". It shouldn't have been sold to me not working) These issues are not a good precursor for Halo 5. It's certainly made me think about spending cash on another Halo game. (I own every single Halo game and up to now have loved the series) To those who say "wait it out". I've just spent the last 2 hours waiting. I'm sick of waiting at this stage. I'm sad to say I'll be trading it in next weekend unless all the issues are resolved. I've actually never traded in a new game before, but if I even get half of what I paid for at least that will be something towards Farcry Regards G.
