Ok I stopped playing halo after a few months of halo 4 as I didn't feel the competitive scene this is excluding mlg events. The reason is because of a lack of true skill system in place. All the previous halos that Bungie created had ranks from 1-50 and arena for reach. I thought because it was the Mcc I would get the Xbox one including the game so I could maybe re play the games because of the fun I had with the true skill (ranks). At the present time there is one ranked playlist for halo 2 and I don't regard that as a ranked playlist because there is no true skill to it. This means when I search a game it doesn't matter what level I am I match anybody. I was wondering are there going to be proper true skill for these playlists including halo 3? As a previous lover of the games that spent a hefty time on them Im barely struggling to play more than a few games at a time without getting bored because it seems there's nothing to play for. I'm going to use halo 3 as an example where even in social you had an exp system which made even social fun to keep playing. There also was the obvious 1-50 in each playlist along with the exp system that kept people playing. Also stat websites attracted people to play the game because it was always fun to compare specific stats to different players. What I'm asking for isnt all the above, I just want to ask 343 is there going to be true skill ranks? will there be more playlists separate for each game?if you could put an answer I can finally lay this game to rest without having to look back on what halo was.
