RSR you never fail to post some interesting ideas. In a way this reminds me of the The Chronicles of Riddick where the Necromonger leader Lord Marshall attempted to 'phase' away from Vaako's apparent death blow only to end up facing Riddick, who had figured out Lord Marshall's weakness, who plunged the blade he had been given by the Purifier into his skull killing him. Awesome fight sequence and scene. If there was some type of trail, like a light trail that preceded the movement slightly and gave the enemy a shot a predetermining the end location of the 'Promethean Jump' it would give it both a unique ability and a weakness. The distance would be limited to the distance of a short sprint length, say 20-25 feet, and once activated the user would be given 3 to 4 preset paths to choose from which would force a quick decision and possibly even limit paths able to be used depending on immediate surroundings. Sprint could be the balancing act as you could sprint to the expected 'landing point' of the enemy using the jump and kill him. Maybe even setting him up for an assassination.......I smell bonus points, achievements and smack talk on that type of kill already!

OP you make some good points about your single like and numerous dislikes of the game. There have been others who have not liked either part of, most of or all of the game. I believe you need the chance to post about your feelings of the game. I have removed all previous posts as they are either unnecessary, seeming to instigate or trying to diminish your feeling because they do not agree with you or only want to hear the positives. Fact is, we are a forum about Halo, 343 Industries and relevant other discussions. You have apparently missed the fact that we are a fan based forum, but that is okay. It is sad to me when members are unable to allow members, new or old, voice a negative opinion about the current game. This post has just as much merit as one that sings the praises of Halo. If you can not accept that and post accordingly, then stay away from OP's such as this.

This is a fan based community and where we do feel the pain of your delima, the only hope may be to wait until 343 Studios releases the Spec codes to all players of H4 in early 2013, as stated in a Twitter by bsangel. I apologize for not seeing this tribute sooner. Moments in our lives that have such a deep impact on our emotions, sense of self and/or our whole outlook on life are rare. It truly shows our depth as humans...as fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters when we can feel such deep pain and loss for someone we have never met and would never have known about, but for a tragic event such as this. Those of us who look at the young lives around us and feel both the love and desire to protect those young ones from moments like these, not just during periods of this type of loss, but at all times...........we know.........we remember that even the smallest moments together are precious. Thank you Twin for offering this tribute here on 343i's forum. May God bless all of you.

Thanks for the shout out to the Moderators Zelda. Though so much more of our job covers the thankless and mundane behind the scenes work, when done properly, the swinging of the hammer is truly rare. It can bear more weight and pain on the user of it than the recipient. I too would like to thank all Moderators past and present that have answered the call and performed their responsibilities with genuine love of this forum, integrity and respect for their fellow members and moderators.
