  1. I will be deep in the forums for a while. PM me if you really need me.

  2. Like I eluded to, allow for the rest of the changes and the shake out afterwards. It does make sense to know what issues members are having. If you can imagine this.....attacking one small bug can be time consuming, yet making the changes we know are coming here very soon, then attacking them as a group can make the job much easier for the techs as one single fix in a single area may alleviate numerous small issues. I never said it does not make sense to have a bug forum, I said I am not sure about it. A thread may be all that is needed.
  3. Though I am not sure about a 'Bug Forum', will have to give that some thought, issues like the Offbeat Forum being able to be viewed by a phone may have to do with removing the post count from the forum. I may be hard for some to understand, but even small changes like that can have unforeseen consequences. Give us a chance to finish some additional changes and we can then take a look at any ripple effects they may have.
  4. That is a picture of the tow vehicle carriage that carries the Warthog for the 'Forward Until Dawn' series.
  5. Our Member of the Month for the month of August has been a long time defender of our forum. Their countless reports of spam, trolls, one words posts, complete idiots with a keyboard (lol), haters, etc, etc. has filled my report box, and emails to the brink. They basically own the report system, which by the way, makes the life of a moderator a little easier for sure. Their voice in the forum trenches has gained the respect of so many members and has become somewhat of an authority on bloom, game mechanics and various other technical aspects that they have no doubt been strongly influenced and educated by Twinreaper. Without further ado, and for sure the one member who will most certainly look 'pretty in pink'.......I want all members to hail our new Member of the Month! CandiBunni All hail our new MOM!!!!!
  6. Have a good night 343ICF.

  7. Way to go "Q"! Your continued offering to this community are very much appreciated and I want to personally thank you for this and all th other work you have done for us! Thank you.
  8. Welcome to the forum Spyro. We do have a few rules that pertain exclusively to dragons, so listen up. Whether or not it is intentional or by accident, if you breathe heavily, sigh, yawn, sneeze, burp, cough or otherwise expel flames from your mouth and mar, deface, burn, singe or in any way heat damage this site a dragon slayer will be hired to track down, hunt, trail, give chase to, dog, hound and/or pursue your tail wagging, horned, clawed, fire breathing reptilian self and be forced to ask you politely to please turn your head when performing the aforementioned activities.
  9. The Discussion Group was Jester's idea, I kept it alive after he left. He deserves all the credit.
  10. Look...I will come clean. 343 Studios contacted me earlier in the year and asked if I would sing a series of covers from Tiny Tim's 'Best of Tiny Tim' album and I agreed. The mystery disk is my inner-city, rhythmic, grundge takes on classics like, "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" and "Living in the Sunlight". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_PLWqnfFgU&feature=player_detailpage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c71RCAyLS1M&feature=player_detailpage
  11. That is an incredible showing for forge creativity and ability. He has my full respect as a forger. I am looking into a more appropriate place to showcase these kinds of videos. They may end up in the 'Halo Universe' or 'Forge World'. Thank you very much for sharing a quality video production and some forge mastery!
  12. The "Member Discussion Group" has brought some immediate changes to the forum. It has proven to be a good resource to have a limited number of members discuss matters of the forum in a closed format and debate the merits of each idea brought forward. I hope others participate in the future. In addition, there are other changes coming for the forum that have been 'in the works' for a while. These changes are being made to increase the ease of use of this site and prepare for future discussions surrounding Halo and our history as a forum. We have always strived to offer a quality forum, fun atmosphere and that 'family feeling' for our members. Many members have celebrated 343ICF birthdays here, hit personal milestones that they wanted to share with all of us, shared the birth of their child, the loss of a loved one, celebrated their own birthdays with us, shared their marriage proposals.......the list goes on and on. I have never seen a forum, especially a gaming community forum, that has ever come close to what we have. We should be proud of what we have created here, all of us. I am constantly reminded of a quote from Total Mayhem's signature as I look around the forum and read our members quality posts and friendly shouts in the box. The quote is, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another......." We all learn from one another. We share what we know and hope others read and share our thoughts again. With all the changes this forum has undergone in the past and will undergo in the future, I hope we will continue to be that little small forum of a few hundred members in our hearts.
  13. Okay.....the first "Discussion Group" was a great success! Two ideas were implemented during the discussion and the remainder of the ideas, thoughts and suggestions will be posted later in the Moderators forum for consideration. I would like to thank Drizzy Dan, Biggles and The Director for their input, insight, insults and incoherent babbling! We covered a lot of ground and aside from Biggles wanting to "One v One" everybody, it was an enjoyable, open and frank discussion of the forum, members and policies. A new group is being selected and a new moderator will sit in with the members this month. (May God have mercy on his soul!)
  14. This appears to be a duplicate thread to this "Load Outs" thread. If so, notify me for a lock down.
  15. I'll bet one disc is a behind the scenes look at Halo 4, how it was made, etc.
  16. Thrasher hope all goes well with the map pack and if you are planning to recreate these maps in Halo 4's forge you should click on this link and see the Community Forge Contest!
  17. Really enjoyed the Slay Date yesterday in Halo 3! Thanks to all who joined!

  18. Another good interview Drizzy! One has shown why he is such a good member and a quality part of the moderating team. One.....the death threat against the family was supposed to be kept quiet! lol
  19. The thing about Asylum that I do not like is that it is a remake of one of my favorite maps from Halo 2, Sancturary. The original had so much atmosphere and color. The shooting lines in Asylum a fine, the basic layout works for me, but the dull gray blocks and ramps ruin and visual pleasure of the map.
