  1. I have added a screen shot of your map and more links.
  2. Nice work Donut. There are some ships I would like you to see on one of my maps.
  3. Spades is a student in college and does get incredibly busy due to schedule at school and dedication to getting good grades. The custom play night is always fun and you get to play some very unique maps and game types. his last series of game nights was on Friday nights. He does return to school soon, so check out one of the events soon.
  4. If you need a voice actor for some infrequent work, let me know.
  5. I would like the community to be aware I have asked the moderators to more actively enforce the conduct rules in the shout box. This will affect only a small number of members that habitually pushed the limits or test the moderators patience. The basic rules already exist for the shout box in the "Rules" section and Spectral Jester's post here should seen by anyone reading the forum. I have seen and heard of incidents of members new and old, including community staff, causing problems in the most visible part of our forum and it has to be understood how much this hurts the site and encourages the behavior in others. We are all grateful to the members who talk to those who are acting up and want those of you to know we like when the community helps to keep things positive when our attention is elsewhere. We only ask that if a moderator is present in the shout box to please allow them to handle whatever the issue is. We are capable and may have a different approach than you feel is needed, but it is our responsibility in the end. Allows us to do what we need to do without encouragement please. In the end, if you are one who continues to interfere, especially after being warned, you may find yourself banned for a short period. I will stand behind all shout box bans regardless of who the member is, so know this in advance.
  6. Most members go to the Signature Shop pinned in the General discussion and request them there. Just read the OP and make a request.
  7. I will miss you more than you can ever realize my friend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ivy4Tj0Yfx4&feature=player_detailpage#t=15s
  8. He was willing to give his life for what he believed in.....
  9. Okay....the "I'm back!" post was to announce my official return to the forum. Seems slightly "unprofessional" for an announcement I am also back as a moderator. So I will say this...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQKKj_qeOBQ

      Choot 'em

I really like that song. :)

  14. To offer you a quick answer, there is definitely a credit cap for offline play. As I understand it he/you will have to make the decision about which choice to make in regards his avatar. There is not a notice that tells you this beforehand and since it would have to have been embedded in the disk or the game cover case insert, no way for them to notify players unless they heard it in a forum such as this. Please wait to hear from some additional members as I know there are other that will have more insight into this. It may be one of those times that you will have to let him know that some things can not be fixed. My apologies on behalf of the community.
  15. I will, if time permits, play a voice roll for a character. My time is limited, so my character will have to have minimal speaking parts. I expect to see more participation from our membership on this.....so heave ho guys!
  16. Red you seem to never fail to offer quality, well thought out and original OP's. I have never personally been a fan of bot replacement of players in online match making. The reason is that a bot would most likely play to a statistical standard of the player he is replacing, assumably a perfect representation. Humans are, well humans. We get distracted by something in our gaming location. We get frustrated and have bad streaks, forget to replace low batteries, girl friend/boy friend walks in the room and tickles you, etc, etc. One current example I can use is Full House Poker were I have invested a very large sum of my winnings into a game, player lags out or quits, now I am playing a bot. Personally I play MM for the tactile experience of matching up against other players from around the world and seeing what comes out in the wash. I may get out BR'd in a slayer game, but know that forcing another player at a critical time of the match, weakening his shields or forcing him out into a more vulnerable position for team mates attack which may give us a tactical advantage in that part of the map or acquire the desired power weapon from their grasp. I don't see a bot being able to have that "intuition". Players coordinate attacks using a wide variety of tactics and having a bot doing it's own thing may be worse than being a player down, which is not always a disadvantage. I am fine with the "Submit Player Review" feature to help ensure limited chances of being paired with said player with the possible addition of allowing a player to have more than one bad "Player Review" be submitted on them by a player if repeatedly matched with them. This would, after say 3 bad reviews, guarantee never being teamed with them again. Eventually the quitters would end up being paired with each other depending on the overall number of quitting reviews. On a side note, bots in custom games would be a great way to train, especially if somewhat programmable. Setting them up for slayer or skirmish and testing your personal skill or teams tactics would be a great advancement in gaming. Using bots to test forged maps for and weaknesses, playability in general or for determining shooting lines would be a great resource to a forger. Imagine testing a map segment for feasibility before committing hours of forge time.
  17. When we originally set up the YouTube channel, Luke was noting that we needed original music to go along with any forum, member or channel created video or slide show. Having a member that is willing to offer his music for exclusive use by the forum to accompany our works. If you are interested in trying this, message me via PM and I will coordinate with you and the staff to get something working. This idea can be used on the FaceBook page and even background music on the any pod cast we produce.
  18. Seriously? That was what I thought too! What a bunch of ego driven putz we are! lol
  19. I believe there is a File Share are for posting member creations. VivaLebowski your dry humor brings a smile to my face.
  20. In my opinion, anyone who asks for notoriety, much like begging for awards, would not receive it. What music have you ever offered to this community? Is every note of what is heard your original music? Think I am being hard.......I am not. You should be willing to offer what you create to this community as simply as wanting to contribute and help make this a better forum. Maybe then the community will recognize you for your talent. I did enjoy some of what you offered. If, in fact, it is all original work by you I expect you already now how talented you are.
  21. Nova I am always willing to talk with you. You have my best wishes for finding what you feel is your inner self. "Some feel they may not have found them self, but the "self" is not something on finds, it is something one creates." I believe that is a line from the book long ago called The Second Sin.
  22. Dark I was a member that loved this forum completely. I cared about all of the members, new and old, and did my best to keep this forum free of hate and those who where here to be disruptive. I shared my sense of humor and worked hard to keep it fun and interesting here. I still hold this forum close to my heart and soon you and others will know what lies in store for my future here.
