I would assume it is one from XBL, so yeah. There is nothing specific in the rules about avatar or signature content as it refers to this subject, but if it is overtly offensive I see no problem with it.

One thing you can do is move cautiously onto areas that are known for it. Camping, or holding strategic areas, is part of any actual military strategy when fighting in small numbers. Use call outs when fighting with a team or friends. Pay attention to radar, even the smallest of radar hits should alert you to enemy presence. Toss or bounce a grenade into areas you may suspect for enemies to be held up, it should light them up on radar if present and possibly create enough shield damage to give you the upper hand. When you know someone is in a "camped" position ask for a teammate for help or take the time to consider whether it's worth going into an area where a player is set up for a trap. I have seen so many people rush into an area time after time thinking, "I'll get him this time!", and die time and again foolishly. Camping may have become an acronym for "dirty" player, but it is a fact of the game. It has been in Halo from the beginning. This is not just a run and shoot game, sometimes you have to have strategy. Look at how the MLG players play. It is a game of call outs and strategy.........learn from the best players of the game.

I truly loved Halo 3. It was the beginning of my acquiring the ability to snipe well, master the BR and begin the transition into a player into the Ranked play lists. The hunt for the Skulls, Terminals and the Vid Master were not tackled and achieved until the second time I went through the campaign, which not the last time I did the campaign. I loved the hunt for all of the items and ended up playing the campaign at least 10 to 12 times. Played individual missions countless times, especially the ones that allowed for heavy sniper rifle use. Halo 3 was an incredibly good game all around, as were Halo CE and Halo 2. I still do back into Halo 3 campaign on a rare occasion and still enjoy it.

japer1 this is not the official 343ind. forum. I am sorry to here about your problem though. I am not sure you can recover the codes, but post in Twinreapers "Tech Support" thread. Just click where I wrote in blue and it will take you there. He may not be able to respond until later on. Again sorry for your problem, I know you can makes mistakes deleting sometimes.

I have a friend who is really pushing this game on me. Looks like I will have to rent it and see what it's about.

Well in my opinion, if they truly knew this was an issue then why offer it? I personally thought it was my connection issues that were causing this. This feature should have never been offered in the first place. They have set themselves up for criticism for proudly announcing this feature and it being a complete failure. I want 343inds. to be successful and support them, but these are signs that they are not being conscientious of the fans. That's it.

You have answered your own question. You were doing it in match making as well. You deserved the ban, period. Yes if it is your first offense it is just for 24 hours. Your account will be unbanned before you would ever get close to having any result through "official" channels.
