  1. Twam I have no idea what a "switch" for the site is, but "Get It Did"! You have done a great job so far, but keep it up, I hear there is a member of this forum after your job! (Seriously.....I haven't heard any rumor, unless this post starts a rumor. Just having some fun Twam. If I am to be punished, I will forfeit my key to the executive washroom for 5 days in penance.)
  2. "Did I fire six shots or only five? You know in all the excitement I lost count. I guess the question is whether you feel lucky? Well do ya' punk?" Clint Eastwood in 'Dirty Harry' (Okay, I realize it's not a Halo quote, but you know you want the Chief to be standing over an Elite, his boot on it's neck and Magnum pointed at his forehead and say it..........don;t you?)
  3. It would appear, even if the votes are not in there high numbers, that this seems to be a well liked idea. 343 Ind., lost you on my speed dial...please call....I have an idea!
  4. Apreciate the replies, sorry I have seen gone for a few weeks. Having "unlockable" armors for specific skill accomplishments, such as a sniper variant for a "Head Shot Honcho" achievement say...times ten, would be a great chase for an armor. Assassinations expert armor for a repeated 10 times assassination in 10 games and so on. Armors achieved by rank, special feats and finishing in higher skill level in campaign have and would always add more sense of accomplishment. I'm willing to let 343 Ind. deal with the specifics of the actual skill to advance rank method, but always liked the H2 and H3 system much better than the flacid Reach system that resembles the afore mentioned "T-Ball" type where every one wins and gets a cookie. We are adults, most of us, and we understand the reward for winning is, and should be, much greater than for losing. The "loser" get the lesson of defeat and should learn from it. Just my take on it.
  5. Welcome TAC4, glad to see you here. I'm sure we can all say we like tacos, especially the one from "St. Agustine" Fl.
  6. Lost legend huh? Pull my finger! Seriously though, welcome to the site and work on becoming new legend here.
  7. Welcome to the show Mystic! What is this Bungie.net you speak of? Could it be a site for the intellectually challenged troglidytes of the world? lol
  8. Good to have you here Cardo. There is alot of good info to be read hear and hope you like "Klondike Bars"!
  9. Hey Sniper, good to see you here. Don't feed Spectral after midnight, he morphs into a Cokney speaking Brit and you can't understand a word from he says! lol!
  10. I could only dream of having a H2 remake. The possibilities, having it just the way it was.......ahhhhhh! Start a petition and I will sign with my paw print immediately! I could see the old players who left long ago crawling out of the wood work for that "Blast from the Past" feeling. I'll beat my pinky ring that BOB would play that one!
  11. Congratulations on your promotion John!
  12. ....for her long, delicate nails....
  13. I could not agree more Jester! It is what I try to keep in mind when I post and respond in these forums.
  14. It appears that those who have responded seem to be in agreement with this idea. Thank you for the responses.
  15. not actually grunts, but miniature
  16. Hero, if you do not have anything legitimate to add to my posts, stay out of them you friggin' spam bot!
  17. John has definitely become our forums news hound. Most of us go there to see what is new with videos and information. I can see that the page will become a massive list of items in the not too distant future. I feel this needs to be less like a "thread" and have just John's news without allowing any additional posts. Just give us something like a "Thank You" button that sends thanks for the info and acknowledges we have read it in the normal fashion by the loss of highlight on that thread. It would be nice to be able to click on the newest unseen post "date" and have it direct us to the individual update instead of scrolling through the entire thread. As new info gets posted by other members via an existing thread or new OP, the info should be moved to the Bulletin Beard, once verified as accurate, with an acknowledgement to the member who provided it. John has shown a strong desire to search out any new information for us and keep us informed. He should be considered for a special title of "News Editor". At the time of this post I was unaware of Emo Kitten 32's role in the news area, my apologies to him. Due to his position as a "Moderator" and his responsibilities he would be able to provide the leadership of this area. He should be considered for the position of "Senior News Editor"
  18. I definitely agree with you. I rarely use it in competitive, but when Arena Doubles existed there one player I had avoided on all three of my accounts. I still ran into him as much as I would anyone else. He betrayed for weapons on a regular basis and would sometimes just stop playing. He never wore a mic, ignoring him did not work and quitting wasn't an option. I finally just waited until his shields had been dropped enough from a fight, finish him and give the other team a kill. It needs to be fixed.
  19. If the report button actually worked this may be something to consider!
