  1. I do not remember the name of this section of the map, it is where you exit a large cave in the Scorpion. There is a tall structure in the middle of a large plateau between to high ice walls, where you have to battle a couple of invisible Elites. That building would be a great "hold" area to defend as an endless supply of Covenant attack. Just give me a sniper rifle, I've got your back!
  2. I figure you could probably make it across the gap in a Jet Pack, plus Invisibility would be a great asset on such an open map, especially with sniper. You would have to be careful with Sprint so you didn't just run off of the ships.
  3. What is the process for submitting maps for consideration to be placed in match making?
  4. It would not be a bad idea to have something like a flame line or lightning bolt line wrap around the helmet, you know some of the simple graphics available in the emblem category. Then be able to place those on the arm and leg. The basic for the images are there and the placement fields could be easily established.
  5. Let's make one thing very clear here. 1) My problem with AA's has nothing to do with being able to "deal" with them. I simply think they are "too much" and that is my opinion and I'm entitled to it, like it or not. 2) I have edited the OP, so go read the edit at the bottom. 3) I am not aatacking those who like them or are ardent supporters of Reach, I still play it with long time friends who really like it.
  6. Achilleas if I am not talking to you in this message area, especially on that subject, stay out of it.

  7. Twam on a rare occasion I have wanted to remove a post. It was wither a misplaced post by me under the wrong OP, found my words were duplicated or for whatever reason. It appears the only way to remove it is to edit, delete and add a period. Is there a better way I am not aware of?

  8. There is, I believe(okay I'm making this up), a small vacuum tube outlet on the rear of the suit of armor that allows any and all waste product to be whisked away and sent Overnight Express to the Covenant.
  9. Devon any information you have that is new will always be welcome here. I will take a look at you site and let you know what I think about it when I get a chance. Welcome!
  10. Hey, what's up 9000. Welcome the forum. Hope you like Klondike Bars! I tend to abbreviate names and GT's in posts, hope this does not bother you.
  11. I have stated before how much I like the atmosphere in the forum a lot. For me at least, the color is perfect. I am used to working and typing in the environment and truly like having the Microsoft Office frame work, makes it so easy to post, emphasize and link. As long as no one is using the light blue type, I can read in here very easily. I do not miss the dark, black background of the previous forum for this game.
  12. Well, God did warn that he would make it rain for 40 days and 40 nights. Seriously, the Flood may end up being an integral part of Halo 4 or future games. I know we have those here who seem fond of them, wanting a "Flood Infection" game for the future. I really do not understand how that had not been thought of before, at least as far as I know. The Flood was always the last thing I wanted to come in contact with in the campaigns. They could be so unpredictable and the swarming effect never let you have a chance to stop and breath, once they had gotten onto you. Within the campaign, they brought a sense of dread to the game which amplified the sense of hopelessness. I can remember in Halo 2 dropping into, I believe, a control room through a broken observation window above it and having it take maybe 15-20 minutes to clear the room. You would kill the darn things, then some little legged tick thing would scurry over and infest another corpse. I expect there return in the future.
  13. I really appreciate the format and brightness of this forum, not like a dark cave from the past. It is nice to have the basics of Microsoft Office for the post format. It really gives you a much easier way to post, emphasize and link within a post. Nice job to whomever brought this to be.
  14. It appears this site will evolve as it is needed. There seems to be a basic structure that is going to allow for growth in any direction the forum goes. I think that is good, rather than having a rigid format that would be harder to convince for a change.
  15. The initial "Classic" playlist failed for what ever reason. Why not offer a classic playlist that has all of Reach's maps playable without the AA's? Classic play not classic maps.
  16. Last night I was chatting with Bob when you came back on, how long where you hear before?

  17. John this is really nice work, keep it up. It's nice to come to a single thread and get this info.
  18. Well aware of this, we will just wait and see.
  19. A quick story: Ford made on the the most popular sports cars of the 60's and 70's, the Mustang (Halo CE,2,3). It was well loved and had a core group of enthusiasts(Us, 7th Column, etc.). In the mid 70's they decided to remake the model, the Mustang II(Reach). It lost a lot of it's core group of lovers, but those who bought and drove it loved it. It failed, but they remade it in '79(Halo 4) and it was loved again and continued to what we see today. I do not want a Mustang II.
