    I like part of this. Where an opponent is on the ground, face up after a melee with a chance for a shot.

    Well you know if you stand without moving long enough the Chief does go through his "Bored" routine. In regards to the walking, it is first person and you will never see it, unless in theater or by other players. I could see a possible small slide when you are running and attempt a quick stop. That would make you time your stop and be close to actual physics in the real world. "Slide Sniping" could become the new no scope, lol. Let's not get to off topic, this post is about ranks.

    You know me elite, I am for keeping it simple! I want there to be nuances to the games we haven't seen before, but at the core, I want the Chief up against those great odds where you feel you have little chance of survival and you have only your skill, "Spartan" never say die attitude and the weapons of the UNSC. If you make a friend or two along the way, fine.

    This is a good attitude to have Spartan, let's just wait and see. Not everything I have read or heard always comes true.

    I like some of the ideas I am reading about in here. I believe that a lot of what we end up seeing in forge though is going to be based off of what is in the campaign. This includes the weapons, vehicles and environments that we have probably never seen before. It will be new, so expect not to see some of the items you are familiar with and be ready to get blown away by what you do see.

    I know, it seemed to be quite a point of contention in Reach the way the system worked. Personally I had no problem with the early Arena ranking system, it was the overall system that seemed to mean nothing, at least to me.
