halo 3 was the last game with that simple style to it. it will be 100% dead after halo 4 comes out. I would like an alternative to the mainstream garbage that is now gaming

343i doesnt deserve anything until they earn it. You shouldn't blindly follow a series no matter how bad it gets. If you do that your no better than CoD fans

I think the dmr would work if you needed headshots... It was a terrible idea to only have the last shot really take skill :/ -
Why does it need to change? Halo was always nice because it was so simple. By making loadouts and having sprint and everything, its just making this series mainstream. Halo was one of the only games that didnt have sprint. You have to play more smart if you dont have it, you cant say "OH **** I NEED TO RUN". In halo 3 if you got into a dumb enough situation that you were going to die, you died. This series was such a nice change of pace. Now it sucks. BTW theres no way to argue with keeping jetpack in the game. It ruined map control and the use of rockets on a person.

for me atleast your totally wrong. i have onyx and im a field marshall. so i definitely had time to adjust. but i STILL dont like the change. Ive played halo 3 for years and i just cant see myself playing reach anymore once battlefield 3 comes out. The game is just more frustrating with the combination of armor abilities and bloom.

I have not idea as to how the armor would work and it seems like it would only mess up the core gameplay of halo. But he means by "make headshots more effective" is that in every other halo game besides reach head shots did more damage to the shields. Making the game take more skill and be more rewarding when you got a perfect 4 shot

I dont see any benefits to leaving sprint in the game over taking it out. It ONLY makes more problems. Halo was originally designed not to have it.
