(no hard feelings Halo, but talking elites is just weird O3o particularly ones that say they r sry for mercilessly smushing ur face after they just invaded earth and slaughtered hundreds) Kyro cut Ivan loose and handed him a sillenced smg before moving to the door of the room. Popping the door slowly open and checking outside he quickly reclosed it and turned to Ivan, "Why would they assume they need to post four heavily armed elites and a squad of grunts to guard this building? Because that's what we're lookin at outside here."

UPDATE: previous rules and information updated~! please read carefully~! this clan is now partially back in operation~! we have a skeletal structure of command staff but will have leadership positions which will eventually need filled if we regain enough people~!

Oblivious to Jacob's shock, Kyro sat staring blankly at Cavril. "That was oddly specific..." he finally replied, before flopping back on his bed and pushing a button on his shades which caused them to go to max polarization. "Yall have a nice chat about carnivorous rats...and be careful because from the looks of this place they prolly exist here," Kyro said as he pretended to go to sleep.

(Deh hellllll~?) (Agreed)(allow me to ammend this) "This is Command Sergeant Major Sorottou, reinforcements coming in hot! You miss us captain? Hope you left us some targets! I got a few army boys here with itchy trigger fingers," the radio blasted. The sky seemed filled with meteors as drop pods flew in from low orbit. Banshees arched persued by Longswords and the sky was filled with anti-aircraft from both sides. It looked like hell. For the men in the drop pods it was hell. They were falling at unearthly speeds but still the plasma and shrapnel filled the sky, and they knew many would not make it down alive. Even know the radio filled with the panicked reports of individual pods being shot down or landing off course. Kyro watched as a banshee arched under his "flight" path. "S***, where's the d***ed air support?!" A longsword flew through and blasted the banshee appart. As Kyro wondered to himself why there was only one fighter covering directly over the city, the shrapnel that was left of the banshee slammed into his pod spinning it off course. He cursed under his breath and began to check where he was about to crash down at. "Inside enemy lines, perfect..." He kicked the hatch in frustration...a bad move, something thudded inside the pod's body and the whole thing began to spin. Kyro felt like he was in some sort of old fashioned carnival ride. He felt an urgent need to hurl after about twenty spins, and the thing was picking up speed as it fell. Then he noticed the light on his hatch had been faintly flashing. He quickly pulled a manual chute release lever and felt the pod slam to a sudden stop as its parachute deployed, but had a sinking feeling as he heard the cable break and the pod began falling again. A few seconds later he heard a crash and was thrown against his restraints. He paused a moment and check himself, no major injuries. He recalled an old saying and murmured to himself, "Any landing you can walk away from, is a good one." Grinning, he pushed two buttons on the hatch and grabbed his assault rifle. The hatch blew off and he lunged out of the pod. Looking around, he had crash landed in a building and there was a scout tied up in some sort of Covenant devices on the other side of the room. "It's your lucky day bud!" he bellowed as he made his way over to untie the guy, but then he noticed the man was staring in horror across the room. Turning, he saw the hatch of his pod imbedded in the wall with a splash of blue blood on the wall around it and an elite's arm twitching from behind it. "Whoa, not his day eh," Kyro said as he stared in amazement.

Kyro shuffled in, taking a glance around, moved towards his bunk. Diving sideways onto it, he noticed the guy in the bunk next to his giving him a strange look over the top of...a book...? "I thought those went out back in like, the 2020's? What's that one about? Some typa historic war?"

The Official What You Do and Do Not want in Halo 5 Thread
Mr. Wolfy replied to SatanicBagels's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
You worked in a postal office and got fed up with your job didn't you... O~O; (no one got the above joke.... ; "stamping" on their head~? hahah~?) -
Having noticed that the large number of members who actually were of interest to me have either disapeared or quit and for other reasons not listed, I respectfully apply my resignation for this site. This will most likely be perminant. This was originally intended, but I have decided this would be showing weakness to enemies. This site requires a great ammount of correction, but I will bear with these flaws for now...

The Official What You Do and Do Not want in Halo 5 Thread
Mr. Wolfy replied to SatanicBagels's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
I didn't read all 15 pages; so I'm unsure if others already posted any of these ideas. Last time I posted in a wishlist thread like this I ended up seeing half the changes i suggested though so Imma give this another try. First lets start off with some changes I had suggested last time. OLD IDEAS: bullet time record in theater lower weapon key on d-pad drivable pelican in custom games and possibly multiplayer ability to go prone special FX's nighttime and raining no item limit in forge AI's in forge weapons customization (much more extreme than the version we were given in Halo 4)(things I would like to suggest are laser sight, grenade launcher, and flashlight attachments. also the ability to apply camos to one's gun should be much more prominant, not 1 camo for 1 gun and you have to preorder to get it, multiple camo types per each gun and you unlock them.) warthog with flamethrower turret (increase range of the flame) firefight voices usable in customs and multiplayer? remove helmet option like in ODST character (face appearance) customization key on the d-pad that allows one to pull out a combat knife NEW IDEAS: a major idea i had was that all games nowadays have lost their involvement...all games now involve just shoot-to-kill mentalities for the entire game and do not include segments where the player is controlling off-the-battlefield developments~ I would love to see Halo go back to something like this where inbetween fights we see the characters off the battlefield forming ties with other characters which could affect the storyline and also searching the non-battlefield location for secret areas which might contain special armor augmentations which could be applied to the player's character. an application like this would be extremely interesting for multiplayer, it could allow the players to interact in a non-hostile environment exploring a ship together before entering wargames, and to actually physically visit locations like an armory to apply the augmentations to their weapons and armor. bring armor attachments back but giving more options, such as where to place the attachments (also it would be interesting to allow the attachments to give special bonuses)(READD THE KATANA AS AN ATTACHMENT~!)(new attachments like radios and backpacks~?) increase the effective range of the gravity reducers, allowing one to perhaps cover an entire map a large sandbox map like in Halo 3 where players have an extreme ammount of area to work with in forge and the ability to apply large vehicles, like halo 2 scarabs or elephants or mamoths controllable switches in forge to open doors and make the gamemodes more involving than just shoot shoot shoot ship casings that can be used to create scenes involving ship to ship combat holographic pads with options of ai's to project (ULTIMATELY FRESH IDEA~!!!) customizable ai partners for our multiplayer characters~! (as in give our multiplayer nameless chars a cortana to their masterchief~ an actual ai yah know that can like use controls on the battlefield to our advantage) security cameras in forge with a functioning screen perhaps~? falling non-lethal but semi-damaging distances should be turned into a tuckroll for cool cinimatics, dispersion of downward force, and just plain fun on a side note i did read one idea, and yes helmets should be made so the HUD changes to fit the helmet you wear DO NOT BRING BACK SINGLE USE POWERUPS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Y5yrMIgtjA&feature=player_embedded Ideas from this video: The global battle idea in multiplayer, the space battles, the character boarding (only for hunters though), and the watercraft~ Not so much the giants because I don't feel like being chased by a weirdly animated pedobear/brute offspring... UPDATE~! PARKOUR~!!!!! spartans r supposed to be super advanced genetically enhanced super soldiers and yet we have problems jumping over small ledges and tiny rocks~?! we should be DOMINATING those rocks and ledges~!! like THIS http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=H8HYs90WXms#t=34 also the afformentioned character customization under the armor should on a level comparative to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6v8y-4FOUV8 i mean~ how many times has a player looked at their spartan and been like~ "holy cow im the same size shape and appearance as those other 2 billion other spartans..." lets be real... this level of customization of character would kill~! also the weapons customization... imagine being able to apply laser sights or flashlights onto your assault rifle~ (THESE SHOULD NOT GIVE DAMAGE OR ACCURACY BOOSTS LIKE COD) the series should also go back to the damage system of halo 3 as it gets quite tiresome to shoot a person for like 30 minutes on halo 4 and not get a kill only to have them blow u up with something or come bunnyhopping from cover like some deranged drug addict RE-ADD THE HALO 3 ARMOR EARNING METHOD~!!! REMOVE THE PLASMA PISTOL FROM THE CHOOSEABLE WEAPONS AT SPAWN!! -

I believe that I laid out my opinions quite clearly. Perhaps you should attempt rereading it..? -
Kyro went to the showers and ran the whole place through with a mop several times. Another guy was cleaning up various segments of the room, but he seemed to be very preoccupied so Kyro decided not to disturb him. He finished up cleaning the floor to his satisfaction and then wandered outside.

Burning Wolves' book "Halo - Shades of Grey"
Mr. Wolfy replied to Mr. Wolfy's topic in Member Created Work
Chapter 5 to make up for previously missing uploading chapters. Alliances The trip back to the ship was silent, with only the dulled roar of the engines and the rumbling of the ship making its way through the atmosphere with an occasional scraping sound as Trey sharpened a knife and the barely audible clicking as Jeanine sorted her electronic and medical kits. Looking around the rest of the cabin, Kaat saw Kyla resting closer to the front of the ship and Chris painting a skull on the front of his helmet with the severed fingers of one of the smaller Covenant they had taken the trouble to drag back to the ship. Rolling his eyes, Kaat pulled up a picture on his visor of the invisible creature they had fought. They had only found a few droplets of the creature’s blue blood on the rubble of the wall. He had landed a grenade round near the thing and had only managed to give it a small cut. He stared intently at the silhouette wondering what the camouflage concealed beneath it. Suddenly, the pilot’s voice broke through his thoughts, “Sir, you have new orders from back home. General Graves wants you to make contact with a group of Innies on the way back, thinks they might have some material of interest.” A small readout popped up on the other side of Kaat’s visor and expanded as he looked at it. As the pilot closed the channel, Kaat whispered to himself, “More nukes..? Why have we been gathering this much material...who are we going to use it on…and most importantly, how did Innies get their hands on something this big..?” Closing the document, Kaat looked again at the other occupants of the pelican’s compartment and quietly wondered if this small group could hold out against not only the UNSC, but the Covenant and their own current forces if necessary. It was hopeless odds, but they were spartans after all, or had been. Just maybe there was a way out. Just maybe they could survive. The pelican was moving far too slowly through the antiaircraft fire for Kaatisu’s tastes. Several rounds had exploded directly behind the pelican’s open hatch already, the shrapnel flaring up the shields of the five spartans as they waited. Standing up, Kaat walked to the back and leaned out on the machine gun mounted on the ceiling of the troop bay. Beneath, war torn buildings flew past filled with insurrectionists and marines firing at each other from cover. Opening a com up to the pilot, Kaat said, “Pickup will be five clicks west of here. I don’t wanna catch a round on the way out.” The pilot responded in a much more frantic voice as he wrestled with the controls, “Roger that!” The pelican set down in a completely destroyed street. As the other four thundered down the ramp, Kaat examined the buildings around him. There were bullet and shell holes in the walls around him and the roofs were missing completely on most of the buildings. “Eyes up!” Trey yelled as he threw his rifle to his shoulder and aimed up at the second floor of a building on their left. Kaat saw a small child aiming an outdated gun down at them as the rest of the squad aimed up at the buildings around them. The sound of weapons being readied inside the buildings filled the air, and a man stepped out of one of the least damaged buildings a few yards away. He walked towards the squad with his arms folded behind his back. The man’s slicked back, black hair and large, unsettling grin somehow reminded Kaat of a snake. The man came to a stop a few feet in front of Kaat, “Nice suit, I doubt it’d do you any good right now though. So, how did you end up on my street?” “We walked down from the sky to visit you mortal. How the **** do you think we got here?” Chris replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he kept his rifle trained on the second floor. The man spun around and pulled a pistol from behind his back, aiming it up into Chris’ face. Kaat drew at the same time and jammed the barrel of his pistol into the back of the man’s head. “Bad idea. We’re here under orders from General Graves to talk to your leader, now remove your gun from the sergeants face before he removes it and takes your arm with it,” Kaat stated quietly. The man sneered over his shoulder, “In case you haven’t noticed you’re outgunned, and I will decide whether you’re telling the truth or if you’re spies for the UNSC!” This last statement was punctuated by him cocking the pistol he held up to Chris’ visor. In a blur of movement, Chris wrenched the man’s arm sideways and grabbed him by the neck, jamming his rifle into the man’s ear. The pistol had fallen to the ground and the man screamed as his now broken arm flopped at his side. “Can’t say he didn’t warn you, but it seems you have trouble hearing…Want me to fix that?” Chris asked as he pressed the gun further into the side of the man’s head. Kaat picked up the revolver the man had dropped, “Pretty old gun,” he remarked, turning the gun over in his hands. Chris released the man’s neck long enough to rip a belt with a pair of holsters and a second revolver off the man’s waist from under his jacket. “Matching set,” he yelled as he threw it to Kaat grabbed the man by the neck again. “Alright, let’s go see your boss,” Kaat said as he stuffed the revolvers into a bag on his hip. “Not happening,” the man growled as he gritted his teeth in pain. Sighing in annoyance, Kaat motioned towards the building the man had immerged from, and the squad moved towards it, with Chris dragging their unwilling and now loudly protesting hostage. Reaching the door, Kaat held an arm up and turned to Kyla, “Ladies first?” Kyla nodded and kicked the door in as Kaat aimed his rifle at the door. They both stormed through into the room before the door had even fully hit the floor. “Guess no one heard me knock,” Kyla said as they scanned the empty room. Kaat moved towards a door at the side of the room, and after Kyla popped the door open, Kaat ran into what appeared to be a stairway. Looking up, he saw two men aiming shotguns down at him from the top of the stairs. He aimed his assault rifle up at them as Kyla stepped in next to him and, dropping down to a knee, aimed up at the men as well. A third man stepped out at the top of the stairs and, placing a hand on either of the other men’s shotguns, lowered them and motioned for Kaat to come upstairs. Lowering his weapon, Kaat walked up the steps with Kyla and the rest of the team following close behind. The men at the top of the stairs moved aside and held their shotguns down at an angle. Walking into the room at the top of the stairs, it was in complete contrast to the street outside. A large soft rug coated the floor, expensive painting hung from the walls, and a meticulously carved wooden desk sat at the opposing side of the room with a large cushioned chair behind it. A small teacup sat in the middle of the desk that the man who had lowered the others’ guns sat down behind. Looking around the room, four more guards stood around the room with shotguns at a relaxed stance. As Chris dragged the hostage into the room, the man jerked free, dashed across the room, and fell to his knees in front of the man behind the desk. He whimpered, “I’m sorry, Vance, I have failed you. These intruders overpowered me in a surprise attack and somehow knew exactly what building we were stationed in.” These last words were said with a glare over his shoulder as the man behind the desk calmly placed his cup back down on the table and, running a hand through his hair, rose from the desk and motioned to the cowering man to rise. “Stand, Knisley, our guests were expected. I simply didn’t inform you of them because I wanted to see what they were capable of. They are sent by General Graves who wishes to make an alliance with our forces.” The man who their ex-hostage had called “Vance” turned and faced the spartans then, “Beautifully done I might add, getting past not only the marine forces but my own guard. Moving on however, we do have the item you came for, and will be expecting shipments of ammunition to begin immediately. Consider us your brothers from now on.” Men walked in with cases marked with nuclear warning labels. “You're giving them our nuclear weapons?!” Knisley screeched in horror. “Yes, we don't have much use for them in our circumstance since we can't launch them from orbit, and I have no aspirations of being a martyr until I see our lords arrive.” Kaat tilted his head, “Your...lords...?” Vance turned at this question with a look of joy that Kaat thought did not appear fully sane, “YES! These advanced beings that the UNSC foolishly defies. We must be cleansed, and they will cleanse us with their holy fires!” He crossed the room and placed a hand on Kaat's shoulder, “This is our destiny, we must aid our masters, we must destroy the UNSC for its insolent rebellion against them.” Kaat stood staring for a moment, “Riiiight... well it was a pleasure doing business with you-” Before he could finish a man thundered up the stairs and into the room, “The heretics are here!” The words had barely exited the man's mouth before every guard in the room had emptied down the stairs. Vance motioned to Knisley, “The basement, we must ensure that the believers do not lose their way with our death.” Kaat watched as they went down the stairs before turning on a private com to the team, “We are dealing with people who aren't playing with a full deck now...” Chris responded back on the com, “What the hell did he mean, “heretics.”” Kyla had moved over to the stairs and was watching down them, “I don't know, but I'm guessing we don't wanna stick around to find out, so far this planet has been anything but hospitable.” Kaat spoke up, “You heard her boys, let's not get comfy now, everyone grab a handle on those crates. I'm on point.” They made their way down the stairs and noticed the front door had been placed back up but with a new addition: it was wired with several blocks of C4. “Well, looks like we gotta come up with a plan B..” Kaat murmured. “Do you ever leave a building by the front door?” Trey joked. “Not if I can help it,” Kaat said as he turned to face the back wall of the building. T.J. brushed some dust off the rhino he had painted on his armor. He had only been here a few hours and he hated this planet already. It was like an ancient ruins from back on earth. All he could see was broken building, sand, and rubble. He wondered why they even bothered fighting over this place. The squad he had been assigned to had been sent in to eliminate some key rebels who had been holed up in some building on the outskirts of the “city.” He had a bad feeling about this one, but he stomached his concerns. They landed and moved down the street from multiple angles, the place was too quiet. As they stacked up on the door without a sound, the tension he felt had reached a peak level. The guy in front kicked the door and the next thing T.J. knew he was lying on his back, with the world spinning around him. The first thing he noticed was a loud ringing noise. Then he saw his visor had shattered. As he wondered why he slowly picked himself up. Another ODST ran over to him and put a hand on his shoulder. The man was saying something, but all that he heard was the ringing sound and some sort of muffled grunting sounds. Slowly the grunts became more intelligible, “YOU GOOD MAN?!” T.J. managed to put a thumb up and slowly stood himself back up. The stairs were covered in the first two ODST's who had been unlucky enough to have point. Several more ODST's had clambered up the stairs and into the room already while a few had stayed behind and were helping up three or four disoriented ODST's lying on the ground. One ODST was lying on the ground clutching a hole in his armor where a shard of the door had impaled him. He screamed as two other ODST's attempted to pry his hands away to apply a can of medical gel. T.J. stumbled his way over to a wall of the building and leaned against it. Prying his helmet off, he noticed movement in the alley next to him which lead to another alley behind the building. Turning, T.J. braced himself on the wall and made his way down the alley. Kaat watched as each member of the group passed him through the newly-made door in the back of the building. After everyone had made it out and started to head down the alley toward the marker on their HUD's showing the location of the area where they would be picked up, Kaat followed. He heard a small shuffling sound behind him and spun around drawing his pistol. As he aimed in he noticed the person he was facing was an ODST, he then noticed the man had also aimed a pistol back at him, looking up he saw the man had removed his helmet and that his face was covered in cuts and blood, but the final thing he noticed shocked him entirely: the man had a rhino painted on his armor's chest plate. They stood for several seconds with their pistols aimed at eachother. T.J. reached up and wiped some blood from his eyes. Slowly Kaat backed down the alley, keeping his pistol trained on the ODST, and T.J., on the verge of fainting, stayed where he was but kept his gun trained on the heavily armored thing which he assumed was one of the spartans people had been whispering about lately. He had too many questions, “Why were spartans here? Why were they in a building he had been told was rebel controlled?” Other questions began to cloud his mind, but he knew he wouldn't be conscious long. Kaat had reached the end of the alley at this point and quickly holstered his pistol before retreating back out of sight of T.J., just as T.J. collapsed. -

He chose the first and was sent to a camp on Reach to be trained. Following the desctruction of Reach, Kyro saw combat on several planets against both human and Covenant forces. He worked his way up through the ranks but was also demoted back several times. He was recalled to earth just before the covies showed up, and shipped (along with half the earth's army) to Mombassa the minute the covies began to enter the atmosphere. Arriving by drop pod, ETA 45 minutes...

Kyro thundered in after the group had been dismissed and, after leaning down in an attempt to catch his breath, realizing it wasn't helping, and finally, using a method he had learned priorly, of standing straight and breathing in while extending one's arms before breathing out while retracting them, he finally thumped his way up to the C.O. who had sent him on the run and, saluting, stated, "Run finished, reporting in...sir." This last direct adress was thrown in after a second of thought.

LE "Exclusives" being released on Marketplace
Mr. Wolfy replied to Creative Gaming Inc.'s topic in Halo 4
I have several points I would like to touch on related to this ideal. Firstly, this has been done before with the recon on Halo 3 and the "preorder only" recon on Halo Reach from Walmart, so it should come as no suprise to everyone. Secondly, the "limited edition" was done terribly this time and people who wished to pay the extra money were denied that option. By all rights the fotus in game should also be opened, since players were robbed of the ability to buy the version with it. Lastly, as previously stated by several people, you were given early access to several things others were not. This including the avatar items you are complaining about which are not even greatly valued by anyone anyway. Let's be honest, how often does anyone look at other's avatars? Other than in an avatar related game where the avatar's props are not even seen this does not occur almost at all. -
My xbox did this for a few hours one day, I fixed it by propping up the xbox to about a 15 degree angle and then it played the discs properly. (my xbox sits flat most the time not up on its side like most ppl put it)
-
(he did say though to go with skills we also felt comfortable with in rl~ am I required to pull out my riflerange targets~?) Kyro shrugged then mumbled sideways to D.J., "Look on the bright side, the girls will love that perfectly toned body. I'll bet you we get out of here, and first mission we go on, you'll save some local girl and she'll be stalking you on every planet you go to for the rest of your natural life."
-
["civilian" doesnt exactly fit with the criteria of being in the aformentioned gang] Kyro looked up slowly at the man who he assumed was an officer and managed to catch the last half of what the man was saying before he realized the man was yelling about him. Standing up slowly from the range he turned to face the man and came to his approximation of standing at attention. He listened to the man before throwing a halfhearted salute and moving to the door to start running. "Well, s***, some first day..." he said as he stuffed his hands in his pockets.
-
Kyro sat in sillence for a second before motioning to the AR D.J. was holding, "This what we have to work with? Looks pretty innacurate... Heard you tap firing it on the way in. Speaking of which, the place is kinda empty huh? Wasn't any CO's yelling at me when I got off the bird, there was this cute chick though..." Kyro picked up an AR and wandered back to the range next to D.J. "but seriously, where is everyone?"
-
Topic #6 "Blown away": How many people here knew that Breaking Benjamin was played by Bungie as background music for one of the final fights during Halo 2? Who all knows the location it was played and what song it was? Topic #7 "IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD D:<": How many have heard about the breaking up of Breaking Benjamin? Out of curiosity~ if the band keeps the name but is successful in kicking out their lead singer, how many would still listen if you did before?
-
Kyro took note in D.J.'s facial expression upon touching the rifle and slowly lowered it back onto its rack with a dejected appearance and whispered, "Daddy'll come back for you later baby." Turning back to D.J. he sat down on a crate, "So how bout you? You just kinda disapeared there. Had a few people worried."
-
Staring first up the range, then over at a nearby weapons rack he slowly said, "Well, they gave me an option. Blow some freeks away, or spend a few years cramped up in a cell for half the time and pounding away with tools the other half...the answer seemed obvious...especially now that I'm lookin at this baby..." Walking over to the weapons rack he had fixated on, Kyro hefted a 50 caliber rifle off it and chuckled, "I think I'm in love..."
