Kyro reddened a bit at the last mention of "anything important" and glanced noticeably down under the desk before leaning back into his seat silently.

Kyro grunted annoyance before waving the flashbang in the direction of the alien like some sort of miniature pointer, noticeably to the dismay of others sitting immediatly around him, "Anyone tested how THEIR weapons work on them instead of unloading clips of our stuff?"

Kyro groaned a response, waited for the sergeant to head back to the front of the room, turned to face D.J., and motioned like he was ramming the grenade to his head and committing suicide, before facing back to the front of the room like normal.

Kyro flunked his head on his desk in despair and held out his hand in a way which expressed his complete moral defeat.

Kyro stared blankly across the room. He still was wondering when his right eye would recover from the double dose of pepper spray. The weirdly shaped creature that appeared on the projector seemed even more evil with the red glow his inflamed left eye gave it, but still he couldn't see at all out of his right, a problem which manifested itself in the form of someone shoving an object into his hand which he promptly dropped, causing it to roll down the floor towards the front of the room. An object which looked much like a stun grenade...

Not getting a phone just for a Halo game~ this game was poorly planned as some attempt to get Halo fans to buy even more Microsoft gear. It's another $cam by Micro$oft, is generally what I'm saying.

The mudkips all watched in awed silence as the flashes of light descended to their peaceful land. Little did they know their quiet world was being invaded by a great evil that had watched enviously from a distant planet. Hearing a thunderous crash from one of the falling lights, the mudkip crowd began to move towards the noise out of curiosity. (see link in comment below for sound effect~)

There once was a tiny mudkip named Azaxx~ Being the smallest mudkip in existance, Azaxx felt very unimportant. Which is probably why he refused to approach the female mudkip he adored whose name was [muffled speach here from mouth being covered by mudkip paws]. He was always a very quiet mudkip and kept to himself extremely. One day however. While all the mudkips were playing, a meteor shower occured. There was something odd about these meteors and Azaxx couldn't shake the feeling that his whole life was about to change.

Orders recieved... Commence/ operation: Cold Silence Targetted individuals listed. Execution of orders begun.

Pulling up to what was left of the command center they had driven away from, Kyro stared in amazement at the destroyed and smoldering building. There was not a single body of the creature who had attacked him before to be seen anywhere near what was left of the building in front of him, but there were several bodies lying on the ground wearing similar armor to himself and the lady who had jumped in the car with him. She seemed a bit shaken by it, but he still had no clue what was going on. Climbing out of the hog, which was now sporting several plasma burns and new metal piercings from brute spikes, Kyro walked towards the building and noticed several medics rushing around inside. A pelican flew down rapidly and nearly crushed the hog as it landed with a loud crash. A man ran up, "Let's go, get the wounded in! The Covies are almost here, this is the last bird that's gonna be able to get in here before this place gets turned into a warzone!" Kyro stared blankly and the man stared back confused and impatiently before rushing past and into the building. Turning, Kyro walked in and saw piles of twisted and destroyed metal in the form of blown up vehicles, destroyed ammo crates, and piles of destroyed weapons. Medics were running by with stretchers carrying screaming and dismembered soldiers, either lining them up near the entrance or running them out to the now waiting pelican. The entire place was alive with movement. Everyone had the same fear showing in their eyes. Something was coming, and Kyro knew these people were unprepared for it.

Kyro was hefting the turret he had saved earlier away from the newly wrecked bike when he heard a metalic sound like a large metal object being lifted. He stopped in his tracks and paused his heavy breathing. The noise occured again. He rolled his eyes in disgust and turning, noticed the brute has risen, pushing the bike off itself. It turned with pure hatred in its one good eye (the other being covered by the newly formed wound in the shape of a tire tread), and bellowed a roar. The creature proceeded to throw the bike towards Kyro, who dodged it. Hefting the turret, Kyro tried to position it towards the brute, but knew if he pulled the trigger he'd go flying from the recoil of this gun unsecured. The creature however turned and began to hobble off quickly for having just been run over. Kyro, who had been down on the ground with the turret, collapsed his head back on the pavement in relief. He then proceeded to drag the turret the rest the way to the warthog, load it in the back, and climbed in the driver seat. The car had been stripped of most of its supplies, but still contained some fuel. He quietly thanked whoever did so in his mind and turned the hog around to make his way to the smoke cloud which was on the other side of a few buildings.

Kyro had continued into the city in the general direction of the engine he had heard and the smoke cloud in the distance. He noticed a large apelike creature coated in armor looking down a street like it had been chasing something but had given up in dejection. The creature carried a large hammer and turned brandishing said hammer while baring its fangs towards the approaching motorcycle. Observing the size of the creature in general and the size of its fangs and the menacing appearance of its hammer, Kyro throttled the bike to ram it into the brute. A few well aimed bullet wizzed past him from the back seat, but the creature stood unfazed as multiple shots thudded into its chest. It raised its hammer to bring it down on them as they got closer but began its swing too late. The bike crashed into the creature and the mongoose-style tires of the bike ground into its leg, collapsing it down in such a way that the bike continued with a lurching motion over its collapsed leg and up onto the creatures face as it fell to the ground. The creature was clearly still alive and ready to fight so Kyro spun the tire a few times on its face causing a smoke cloud as friction was created on the creature's leather-like skin. The creature stopped moving, and assuming it was dead, Kyro climbed off the bike and examined it. The front was entirely crushed and the tire was partially burnt off. Sighing in annoyance, Kyro noticed a warthog a block or so down the street, motioning to the lady who was with him, Kyro indicated towards the hog and motioned to the weapons on the bike in an attempt to communicate the needs for a transfer.

Revving the engine a bit, Kyro turned the bike back up onto the road and continued deeper into the city towards the smoke. The ammount of gunfire around the city had increased since the momentary sillence, and they were driving right towards the thick of it. He swore he heard another vehicle's engine echoing through the streets.
