  1. Yo mama so old, when she was a child, the RAINBOW WAS IN BLACK AND WHITE.
  2. darkestgames.blogspot.com All I do there is write little reviews for FTP/cheap online games and such and I find cool and interesting. Not much there now but if people would be so kind as to check it out and take a look at a game or two, i'd be eternally grateful.
  3. Swat pro sounds pretty cool. I would play it
  4. Halo music is some of the most moving music i've ever heard, and it's a very definitive type of music. You hear it anywhere, and you can instantly recognize it, 'Hey, that's Halo Music!' And those first 32 seconds, is the most definitive piece of music in Halo. My opinion, of course.
  5. Get a bunch of friends together and beat Legendary Campaign, if we're feeling adventurous and if possible, we might try LASO >
  6. I personally am very excited for the Campaign, as it looks freakin' awesome and something totally different than previous Halo's. After playing the Campaign a couple times i'll transition to Matchmaking and Forge/Custom Games. How about you?
  7. Frankly, elites in matchmaking just doesn't fit into matchmaking. Matchmaking occurs on the Infinity, a UNSC ship. Not really a huge surprise that there aren't covenant on the ship. Also a little tidbit, spartans run slightly faster than elites, and elites jump slightly higher than spartans. Aside from that, the only difference is their hitboxes.
  8. Though it's a nice idea, it wouldn't really be plausible as it would be extremely hard to manage troops while in first person and to make the experience look nice, all the units and terrain would have to be retextured and such for a first person perspective.
  9. Maybe it'll wait until the next-gen consoles, then. I imagine they'd be able to pump in lots of new content with a more powerful system.
  10. While I feel that the needle rifle and carbine are more similar than the br and dmr, with some rebalancing they could pull apart and become counterparts to the human precision weapons. Focus rifle sucked in general. Beam rifle was great, because you actually had to time your shots. And it's the only plausible counterpart to the human sniper, excluding a possibility that 343 made a new covie sniper. Small possibility, but it is a possibility.
  11. Drop-in has a large chance to disrupt a game though. If there is a trueskill-esque team-maker in H4, and people quit and are replaced in a match, those replacements could totally throw off the balance. Maybe if it searched for a player of similar skill level, it could work. Also, a possibility to lower the number of quitters would be to have a certain amount of games you can quit in a day. If you're having a really bad day and reach your quit quota, or are trying to derank (If possible. If so, it would slow you down a lot) you can't quit any more matches. Just throwing out ideas here.
  12. I think a good idea would be to have forge as it is in Reach (That style, improved of course) and have a geometry editor online or on a separate disk where you can create original maps from scratch there and download them to use in custom games. The third option, I don't entirely understand and seems way out of our reach for the time being. Forge and custom games really give Halo a creative and fun feel, and I feel that with stronger and better editors/forges the new gametypes and maps will really come alive and be much more fun than some classics, even.
  13. Halo 3 Grifball was great fun. Reach messed with it too much and took away the fun :'( If there is H4 Grifball, it should work just the same as H3 Grifball, but it will most likely have default sprint. Speed it up a little.
  14. The shots in each burst fire off much faster than in H3, it seems to me like it's a DMR under the guise of a burst weapon now :\ It definitely looks and sounds cool though.
  15. I'd like to see vehicles from Halo Wars implemented, on large maps they could be quite fun. Or a gametype with only aerial warfare: Hornets and Falcons vs. Banshees and Vampires. There is already a large selection of vehicles in Halo though, so these new 2 might be something entirely different.
  16. What I see as the main problem is that it fires too fast for how powerful it is. Either lower the blast radius or increase the reload time by .5 sec or something. Enough to make a difference but not render it useless.
  17. I think they all look pretty cool, hopefully they will all be downloadable/purchaseable after the game comes out, though I suppose that kinda ruins the novelty of it. The idea is good though, I like being able to distinguish my enemies on the battlefield.
  18. Sprint and grenades can counter each other wonderfully if used right. If someone is sprinting away, throw the grenade in front of them so they either have to run through it or stop. As for br being a 5-shot, as long as it competes evenly with the dmr/carbine, that's fine. It lowers their effectiveness in close-quarters and allows for underrated closer range guns to come into play. More variety.
  19. The new assassinations look pretty cool, wonder if yoink!s will still be performable, as those caused a decent amount of rage.
  20. Noticed a few things I hadn't heard/seen before in that video: Grenade detonation is significantly earlier than previously. Weapon sounds are very odd, possibly due to the different conditions on the planet? It looked like the Spartans were fighting both Covenant and Forerunner. Forerunners appeared after the Covenant seemed to be wiped out, symbolism? Deployable frontal shield. Armor ability or a pickup like in H3? New assassinations. Looking forward to those. As for Legendary/Limited Edition, depends on whether I deem the extra stuff worth the value.
  21. A Halo Wars 2 would be cool, with more than 3 units in each military building and a bit more in-depth. Though I do agree, the scarab is a little bit smaller than it looks in the FPS. Not significantly, but a little bit. As above said, could just be a perspective difference.
  22. All the new enemy aesthetic changes look fine to me, they're in a totally different part of the galaxy, not a huge surprise they have different armor/posture.
  23. Looks like this could use an update, since SJ is a Promethean Knight and those aren't on the current list, because they weren't around 11 months ago
