I don't know if this is related to match-making, but my friend and I cannot join each other's sessions so we can play together in a party. Other multiplayer has worked for me in the past (once); I don't play multiplayer very often. But when he bought his Xbox One with Halo, we wanted to match up together... and failed. Does anyone know if this is a known problem and if it is being worked on? Is this even match-making related at all?

Same here. Buddy of mine and I tried to join each others session and the game constantly says that there were connection errors. We actually were never able to join. And of course, there was no reason given as to why joining failed. Like, who cares about giving a reason nowadays anymore. Generic messages that state "something failed" are more annoying than developers might think. Just give us a reason why so we can start debugging (if it is the connection). But I think it's simply the game being still broken.
