I honestly came here, made an account, just to show my utter sadness and express my disappointment for the absolute asinine decision to not have split screen. I look forward, as I'm sure millions of other hardcore Halo fans do, to getting the new Halo, and playing through the campaign with siblingls/family and friends, and then carrying that to playing together online. My brother, cousins and countless friends going back to when I was in 4th grade, I am now 24, have spent thousands of hours playing together. THAT is the nostalgic feel from the Halo games that keeps me buying them. 343 you guys have seriously done such a good job up until I heard about this. Not to mention, and when I say this I really hope you guys AND Microsoft are listening, Halo 5 was and is the biggest and only exclusive for xbox one I am looking forward to. As I'm sure millions of others agree. But I honestly would have no reason to get the game, not until it goes down in price in 3 years. 60$ for a game is a steal when you know that you'll be spending endless hours with friends and family playing it. But now, its replay value is as good as COD or any other game that makes you play with people online and not in person. And that is what makes this so sad, Halo stood above all other games because it brought people together in a way no other games do. So as of now, I will be selling my Xbox One, and cancelling my preorder. Sounds extreme, and obviously not every single person would agree, but those are the things I and everyone I play with and know, value about Halo. I know you guys at 343 have been working your asses off on a next gen amazing looking 60 fps game, but I honestly could care less if I have to play it alone in my room or with friends via a damn internet connection. I truly care about Halo, and this is why I decided to take my time and voice my opinion.
