Here is a list of things that make the Banhammer wallop the good, the bad, and the outright hackers. Bannable offences: 10 min Matchmaking ban: once you quit to many times you will be given a 10 min ban from MM and a notification, once you recieve this notification you will get a 10 min ban every time you quit. You cannot quit for three days to get rid of this. 24 hour ban from earning credits: you will get this notification "you have been temporarily banned from earning credits". This ban is from boosting doing naughty things. -------------------------------------------------------- (NEW!! If you change your locale this can get you credit banned. I was stunned when this happened (I changed it for unrelated reasons) so I did some investigating in another account and found that it removes your credit cap for the day and lets you continue earning credits. You can only change your locale to reset your cap once and not get banned, two times your out cold from the ban hammer. I hope this helps some of the higher ranks. -------------------------------------------------------- 1 week ban from earning credits: you will get this notification" you have been temoprarily banned from earning credits for one week" or its something like that i know the message slightly differs from the 24-hour ban notification. You will get this from reipeat offending ie. continuing to be naughty or for first time offence. 2 week ban from earning credits: the notification is the same as the 24-hour ban notification. You will get this from repeat offending ie. continuing to be naughty. 4 week ban from earning credits: the notification is the same as the 24-hour ban notification. You will get this bann for repeat offending ie. being very naughty. Credit and rank reset: you will only get this for ******** them off by getting banned so much and doing those 'naughty' things. Matchmaking ban: you will be banned from matchmaking for set period you get this for extremly naughty things like hacking and using a 'j-tag' Console/perma-banned: you will be banned from playing reach on your xbox forever. Ie hacking. Auto-muted: You will be auto-muted after a set amount of players mute you. Remember those people who have already been muted, are muted for a reason. I am going to tell you what some of those naughty things are for your OWN saftey. 1: Challenge/Commendation resetting. 2: Commendation boosting. 3: Griffball and Invasion boosting. 4: AFKing firefight will get you banned. 5: Signing out a guest in firefight pre-game lobby to 'solo' will get you banned. 6: Offline credit mods or any mods (aim-bot including) will get you banned. If you attempt any of these things YOU WILL BE BANNED!!! And that is pretty much everything on bans as best to my knowledge please feel free to correct me on my errors and mistakes. Hope this helps! =) Note: you may get Cr banned for a week on your first time offense.

@ bonez ^ my main GT: Destyran Highests skill 40 in lonewolves. My bridging account Highest skill: 50 so shut up and a "H3 style rank" wont improve reach. HALO 3 uses trueskill owned by microsoft. True skill is flawed. So unless 343 maketheir own true skill formula They probably wont be using microsofts Trueskill Due to flaws and booster derankers . Bungie didnt like the true skill system on H3 anyway because it wasent fair to players who couldnt get a 50 and acheieve the max rank. This is why they intro duced the credit system in reach so everyone can get max rank OK!!!!!! HALO REACH has been out for nearly a year so deal with the changes and get over it!!!

Im pretty sure the magnum has no bloom andyeah i know its better in close range but the dmr will rape if you can stay at medium range: DMR > Sniper at medium range. DMR > magnum at medium range

^ @ reptar yeah i know but what im trying to say is if i wanted REACH to be more like HALO 3 i would just go play some HALO 3 the only reason i play reach is because its different to H3, i stopped playing it for a reason i was bored of it reach is different lol

the magnum has no auto-aim tho the dmr will rape it

^@ reptar if they di that everyone would go back and play H3. @ all the bloom haters / trueskill whingers/ mlg pro wannabes because you all wanted a new game but it can be different then halo 3 so i think youve been playin cod too much all THEY do is release new maps and a campaign but keep the MM the exact same but with a new gametype or weapon. Halo is going to change thats what makes it good GET OVER IT! If they did make it like halo 3 you would just find something else too sook about all you kids just whinge on forums till it you cant sook because its fixed JEEZ i cant wait for the title update for the new H3

once you get that message your stuck with it for three days and you cant quit out if your on your third day an you quit its another three days

john 117 confirmed bloom remove but everyone else is just speculating on what was sad in interveiw

theres lots of things in reach to work on like commendations k/d ,k/da armoury rank division and yeah unless mircrosoft create a new true skill system i doubt it will be the same as h3

i heard theres only 2 bungies in 34i

once again we are out of sync in our convos but i totally agree i just dont see a way without bloom the dmr wouldnt be over powered i want like a one week trial to see how it turns out

it will be better im just scared of what kind of monster the DMR will become and just drooling about makes me think theyre gonna nerf my fav weapon and that makes me sad

i loved halo 3 more too, but the DMR is so much fun and sniping is so easy and they have a super cool sounding medal"Unfrigginbelivible" and dont for get "brosiden" lol but i had to move on from halo three thats why i dont want reach to become more like three
