In an effort to increase membership here at 343i.org and to further support the involvement of the community, I've decided to present to everyone here a challenge! Now I'm sure most of you are saying, "Great, ANOTHER challenge from Choot 'em?". Fear not, this is not my usual challenge, lol!! NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION FOR MEMBERS OF 343I.ORG 1. Each member invite at least one (1) random player from H3/Reach multiplayer per month to 343i.org 2. Perform at least one (1) random act of kindness to a fellow member per month 3. Sign up and play in at least one (1) Community Event in 2012 4. Send a game invite to at least one (1) 343i.org member that you do not know Not too difficult is it? You can see how this will cause a domino effect, and that's only asking one (1) per month! If you can do more, by all means do!! I always encourage community involvement and I believe that we need to invite others here to share what we have. I've already started on it, now it's your turn!

Nothing confirmed yet but.... Article by Robert Cram http://www.msxbox-world.com/news/article/14982/halo-4-to-have-kinect-features.html With 343i integrating Kinect functionality with Halo: CEA, I would be willing to bet that Halo 4 will have some sort of Kinect capability considering just how big of a game it will be.

As frustrating as it may be, the bad sometimes outnumber the good. You are in a good place to start though! (343i.org) Although I personally don't fool around with forge, there are quite a few members here that enjoy testing new maps. Try posting a "Map Testing" topic to get feedback on your maps before heading to XBL. You will get better input and suggestions in a non-competitive environment and without the negative comments.

To answer your question (which is definately a matter of opinion), I would rather have the majority of maps developed and released by 343i. SOME (very few) Forge World maps are fairly decent but I much rather play on the maps released with Reach and those released with CEA. Opinion varies from member to member. Although I respect the efforts made by fans, I don't think the multiplayer should be targeted primarily to fan based maps.

No hiding tactics please. Will ruin multiplayer experience for others unless done in your own custom matches.

Found nothing on "RDOD" in support at Xbox.com but did find an article dated June 21, 2010 about it HERE by Matthew Newell and another HERE dated June 25, 2010. According to the articles, it's an overheating protection function that automatically shuts the console down 'before' overheating. I will continue to research and if I find more, will post here.
