There's no competition for me playing on my own in team slayer in the gold league. It's way above my level, I'm about 0.2 - 0.5 every match. It's utterlly unfun because I'm playing against people who basically do nothing but play FPS games on control pads. I hate using control pads to play fps games (they're completely inadequate for this sort of game) so I lose 80-90% of encounters. No chance of competing, can't de-rank. Will have to wait for the reset and sabotage my qualifying games so this doesn't happen again. Then maybe, once I'm playing against people more my level I might be able to improve (as I'm doing in FFA)

Well I qualified in Team slayer on my own. The matches where total disasters. I got placed as Gold 1. It's well above my level and the playlist is basically unplayable now. Without being able to de-rank that's part of the game I can't play now thanks to a faulty ranking algorithm. I qualified silver 1 in FFA. That is about the right level.
