Isn't it, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"? Not that your point is invalid. I'm just saying.

Seems that's how it is for me whenever I played, anyway. Either my teammates are awesome while I can't seem to hit anything, or I've got the most kills in the entire match while my team runs around getting themselves killed. So I can honestly say that I'd rather be awesome and have a lame team, because it makes me feel better to lose with style than to win with none. …play a pink female Sparty or a pink male Sparty? This could say a lot about you so consider your choice carefully.

Awesome as it seems, I can't help but feel like this is a hoax. I mean, this "teaser"/"trailer" is amateurish and lacks the identification of any production studio, or even endorsement by 343 Industries. You trolling, Adam? Or were you fooled by this, yourself? If it's for real, amazing! But I require more proof. Until then, I'm rendered temporarily melancholy. Edit: Did a bit of thinking… If this game is for real, and is not sponsored by 343i/Microsoft, then they can't legally charge players for access or service. It'll survive on donations?

So… you want 343 Industries to commit commercial suicide? Now, I'm no expert on marketing or economics, but something tells me that would be a terrible idea. Segregation is preferable to elimination. So, what the other guys here have said about the separate Ranked and Social playlists is the best bet. Period.

The skulls in Halo: Anniversary as my goodbye.
Father B replied to Zed The Evil Taco's topic in Halo CE + Anniversary
You better come back, you big delicious son of a b<expleted>! But… take care, Mr. Z. Good luck. I hope all goes well in your move. We'll see you when you return. Because if we don't, we'll find you! I mean, how hard could it be to find a big evil taco? Am I right? -
Halo: Reclaimer Trilogy 'What could Happen'
Father B replied to Archon's topic in General Discussion
Listening to the conversation, Bluesky checks and rechecks his weapons, chuckling at the notion of naming them. "Terra?" he asks with another small chuckle as he pulls the magazine from his M6F to polish the pistol. "Anybody else named their gun?" The question was obviously rhetorical as he never even glanced around at the others. -
Halo: Reclaimer Trilogy 'What could Happen'

<OOC> Thanks, Mr. V. Work and roommates and friends, oh my. "Life", in other words. A terrible thing when alls I wants to do is get down with my [email protected].</OOC> "Oorah!" bellows Bluesky before turning and heading for the Pelican. Whenever Bluesky sees one of these babies he remembers in perfect clarity why he was discharged from the Air Force. It makes him smirk every time. Falling in behind Cpl. Alexander, Bluesky takes a seat across from him. "Exciting, huh, Corporal?" he asks with a grin as he gets comfortable. -
S'all your fault, Sil. If you weren't such a studmuffin this wouldn't be happening. Just… ugh! Curse your bones! But let's get srs now. The population will take a dip soon. The baby-boomers are getting up there, with Generation X right behind them. They'll be dropping like flies in no time.

Halo: Reclaimer Trilogy 'What could Happen'

Okey dokey, 819. *ignores* -
Hello and welcome to the community. A bit about the site: • It's a fan site, not officially sponsored by 343i. • We're mostly friendly here, and bear no love of trolls or flaming. • Our mods are fair and unbiased in their judgments. • Our admin, Twam, excretes Win, and we revel in it. • It's pretty much unanimous that 343i.org beats the living Hell out of B.net's and Waypoint's forums. That's all I can think of to let you in on. Perhaps others will add onto that list. In the meantime, enjoy the site as we all do. See you 'round the forums.

I occasionally use crimson, but only usually for edits and important things, BK. So it's all good.

Halo: Reclaimer Trilogy 'What could Happen'
Father B replied to Archon's topic in General Discussion
OOC: Is this the start of the LFF, 819? If it is: IC: A clean-shaven, tanned marine promptly steps forward and snaps off a crisp salute. "Sir! Private Cloud Bluesky, sir." He steps back into line and awaits more introductions. If it isn't the LFF, my apologies. I'm just so anxious to get rolling. -
First Name: Cloud Middle Name: Rain Last Name: Bluesky Rank: Private Faction: UNSC Marine Corps Species: Human (Native American) Hair: Buzzcut Hair Color: Brown Eye color: Brown General Look of Facial Structure (Optional): Think "Bill Paxton in Aliens". Height: 5'10" (1.8m) Tattoos: Crest of AMX-27 (UNSC Air Force) — an eagle's head (profile) biting a star on his right shoulder. A Native American dreamcatcher over his heart. A raven spread-eagle across his upper back. Body Build: Athletic Appearance: Natural tan skin. Standard Marine kit, including MA5C ICWS, M6F PDWS, combat knife, and M9 Frag Grenades. Armor: Marine BDU Personality: Supportive team-player with a bit of a selfish streak (ex: he won't save you because he likes you, but rather because he could be in trouble if he doesn't even try); prefers life shipside; gets slightly jumpy when planetside. History: Formerly an Airman 1st Class in the Air Force. Wanted to become a pilot bad enough that he attempted to teach himself to fly a D77-TC Pelican. He was dishonorably discharged, but was not disallowed entry into the Marine Corps where he would spend much of his time aboard ships.

Videogame. Anybody ever read the webcomic Kid Radd? —Linkage— That's how I imagine being a videogame character. If you like The Matrix, you'll enjoy Kid Radd. …be a Zionite, Machine Agent, or an Exile? Referencing the factions in The Matrix and the short-lived MMO The Matrix Online.

My favorite color… Once it was blue… Then it was red… Then it was black… Then it was white… I understand black and white aren't true colors, but for the sake of argument here let's say they are. Then it was blue again… And for the last 8 years or so it's been golden yellow. The reason is both sappy and stupid. And that's what I did this Summer. Thanks for asking.

Quiet, you! Can't you see the bonding going on here? jk lolz V

Only because this is your thread and it would be in bad taste not to have listed you first, A-Dog. But no squabbling, lest his list suddenly changes, worse for we two. *brofist*

First, it can be exactly one metric tonne of fun, if everybody playing/participating plays by the rules (written and unwritten). In previous LFF's I've been part of, lolz were had by all, and on numerous occasions. Second, that there is always a good idea. Helps to jot down ideas both for yourself and for others wanting to contribute. So no Flood or Forerunners… So I can be a Grunt? COVVIE UNIT! WHO'S WITH ME? No, I'm only partly serious. Might be interesting, but we could end up with some PvP situations and in LFF's, PvP can get tricky, especially for the GM. The only way around it is if folks don't get too attached to their characters.

Yelled at by the father. I can always ignore him. Not so much if things got physical. …fail at life or fail at Halo? Edit: Another way to look at the question is: WYR be awesome at life OR awesome at Halo?

High praise coming from the Emperor of the Shoutbox. *Kneels* You honor me, Sire. How I do long for the day when I can return to shouting across the site with our sometimes nonsensical meandering. Much love, Sir V.

Don't worry your pretty head about it, ER. Twammybear's awesomenessity burns the heretics like the light of a billion neutron stars focused through an array of magnifying glass satellites. Don't fear them. Pity them for setting themselves up for disappointment. 'Course, I'm not sure if we have some form of "Must have a minimum Posts/Day count of X before being eligible" policy, where X is a fair number as decided by the community. And anyone who votes for a ridiculously low amount is a heretic and must be cleansed/purged. Maybe that's a bit extremist, especially coming from me…
