  1. Magnum. Love pwning hotshots with a simple sidearm.
  2. My favorite piece of armor in the Reach Armory would have to be... a Utility piece: First Aid pack (I don't recall its exact name). Reason: I'm a big fan of irony, and having a First Aid utility that you can't use just tickles me.
  3. Tartarus. He makes me think of a big, evil, furry A.J. Johnson.
  4. That's a mean one, H4TW. I'd have to go with option 1: Stay away from 343i.org forever. I don't think I could stay here for the rest of my life unless I wanted the rest of my life to be all of two or three days before succumbing to dehydration. ...live on Mars or on the Moon?
  5. I wish. Haven't had any decent junk food for a month. I'm wasting away! The poster above me must know my addiction better than I do. The poster below me is a cold-blooded killer... named Godzilla.
  6. Hello. I'm already acquainted with most who have replied here, including you, OP. But here it is: My name is Kyle. My birthdate is 06/29/84 which puts me at 27-years-old. I'm currently living in a little out-of-the-way area in south-central British Columbia, Canada, having recently moved from Calgary, Alberta. By "out-of-the-way" I mean "middle-of-nowhere". It's terrible. I've been a gamer since I was 4 or 5 when my father brought home an N.E.S. I vividly remember the old 16-bit 8-bit* games I grew up on, like: Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt Excite Bike Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Double Dragon Rad Racer Skate or Die Battletoads And many more! I got into Halo after a longstanding indifference to the FPS genre, due to terrible times with Doom, 007: Goldeneye's multiplayer, Duke Nukem 64, and brief engagements with Quake, Red Faction and one or two others I can't remember much about. It wasn't until about 6 months before Halo 3 that I finally stepped up to play Halo: CE. I fell in love and immediately bought it and Halo 2. Since then, I've purchased and played every Halo title that was released. Currently, my favourite games are the Halo, Portal, Dead Space, Assassin's Creed, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Parasite Eve and Final Fantasy titles and series. There are others, but these are the only ones that immediately come to mind. I love Halo, but my first love is and has always been RPG's, regardless of the setting. I've been the 343i.org spiritual leader for a few months now. Make of it what you will. Just know that I'm not religious nor will I try to thrust my beliefs upon anyone. I'm willing and able to discuss controversial topics without letting things get out of hand. I try to understand all sides in a heated confrontation and will attempt to play devil's advocate for someone I feel is outmatched due to unfortunate conditions and not outright wrongness. I do not, however, tolerate great acts of disrespect and I will not stand with anyone who does. What I stand for: L.U.R.V. Love Understanding Respect Virtue This may seem like a lot, but if you knew me you'd understand how much farther into detail I could and would get into. Be thankful this is the end (of my reply, not the end of the world, or life). :fattwam: * (Edit: Forgot NES was 8-bit and SNES was 16-bit. My bad.)
  7. Well, neither of those are great things (yoinking or suiciding). You felt betrayed by your team and you acted out. Going forward you should try to remember that it's cruel and disrespectful to punish an entire team for the actions of one player. Maybe next time you should just come up behind him and beat him down, stating why you did it and to let it be a lesson to him about kill-stealing. Or, as AAN2 in the next confession did, you could use him as an unwitting suicide-bomber. Twam be with you, my son. AAN2, you know as well as I or Twam, that what you did wasn't a sin. Opportunity was knocking and you answered, baby. You took that poor misguided soul and his bad idea and turned it into something beautiful. You are not forgiven. What you are is amazing. Kudos, my friend. Kudos and well done. Twam guide you to more great feats, my child. Go with His blessings.
  8. First, I have to say that this debate has gotten horribly By the title, it's about the Scoreboard, not the Skill/Level/Ranking system. Second, the only reason people get to 50 is because there are other players who, by your standards, "suck". Were all players as good as you believe they should be, there would again be more reason not to utilize a level/rank system, as everyone would be about equal. Third, to get this back on topic I'd just like to say that the game is meant to be fun. If people want to work plans like pro footballers, perhaps a game that can be more fun to lose than it can be to win isn't the game for such individuals. That said, it wouldn't affect my casual view of the game's multiplayer whether the scoreboard and tactical information were better designed and more accurate. It might even be nifty. (Edit: changed an "as" to "than")
  9. AAN2: The lord Twam understands and has been there himself, I believe. You are easily forgiven that, my son. As for letting the Confessional die, I would hope the only reason for that was because nobody had been "sinning" in games recently. MasterShotgunz: Just as long as you don't do that sort of thing regularly - telling tales to lure naive kids into giving you things, I mean. Otherwise, it's quite humorous.
  10. Finger. But whose finger? Not mine. And only if it's clean. ... peel a million carrots or a million potatoes?

  13. Agnostic, but I lean toward Belief. I do not, however, believe in congregating with a bunch of people to achieve some form of self-assurance about my beliefs. Except when it comes to Halo. PRAISE THE CHIEF!

  15. I listen to various artists on my iPod, including: SOAD, Linkin Park, Jay-Z, Kanye West, a bunch of stuff from the Big Shiny Tunes collection, and some Weird Al. Favourites are Matthew Good, SOAD, Linkin Park and Kanye West and Jay-Z. Favourite song: H.A.M. - Kanye West and Jay-Z
  16. Sigh-eye-aye. Though I do remember the good old days before p2p really started pulling peoples' nose-hairs. It wasn't so bad.
  17. The poster above me made almost no sense whatsoever with his "The person below me..." But that's OK because I still love him. The poster below me knows that I have no idea who the poster above me is, and that I'd love him anyway because that's partly why I'm the 343i Spiritual Leader.
  18. 'Gratz, EG! I know I'm a bit late on this. Lot going on for me. But it's your month, baby! Nothin' but love for you, MoM! Nothin' but love for you!
  19. Currently, I drive a 1994 Chrysler Concorde. It's a piece of junk and I want a new car.
  20. OOC: Pssst. It's a gauss cannon, not a chaingun. And the platoon was with the other downed Pelican. And on my part, a big "DAMMIT" because I forgot which Pelican Trevelyan, Bluesky and Mendoza were looking for. So, forget the upside-down 'Hog in the crash-landing scar. It wasn't there. IC: From the back of the 'Hog, Bluesky surveys the carnage. "Showed those ********, didn't we!" he shouts. There were other Covenant bodies besides the ones they had just put down. "Looks like we just got the leftovers, though." Amidst the scattering of alien bodies and blood, Bluesky could see a couple of human bodies. "****. I got the flight crew. Looks like they might've died in the crash. Probably laid out by our boys before they…" he paused as he saw the tank's treadmarks go off into the bush, "…withdrew?" Bluesky was suddenly and obviously puzzled. "From two small Covvie units?" Bluesky didn't know if there was any significance to the direction their tank was headed.
