343i can you please bring back squad dlc, it was my favorite gametype because all the maps were beautiful and unique. With this update I am afraid that I will never play those maps again because only a fraction of people have the dlc. I know you probably wont care but many people on the cat forums are sad, and angry. Such as I am at the moment. Please consider unretiring it. As they were some of the best maps reach has to offer, thank you if you read this. -alex smith

Hey, We're making a machinima series and while we have a lot of ideas about the direction of the season (and beyond), we at Superior Masters Productions were wondering if anyone had suggestions for what they'd like to see in a machinima. Our series is called Chimera Team Alpha and is a comedy adventure series following the post-war exploits of a Spartan-Elite team, usually exploring the mysterious Forge World. Stills taken from "Comic Con - Halo 4 Flag Stabbing and Spartan Cosplay" most images taken between 2:08 and 4:45 except the 1st one, lol Two Mammoths sliding in the cargo bay during the 'Forward Unto Dawn" trailer Mammoth in-game...possibly?? Mountable Assault Walker?? Sliding Chief Gameplay level? Tank beats everything, lol Blue Promethean Knight with dog-like enemy to left another Knight Red Promethean Knight size comparison to a Spartan...these things are HUGE!!

Holy crap! I finally found a community forum for 343i. Thank the precursors its not *BLAM!* But anyways guys I just came on the forums to hopefully find some people with knowledge of Halo 4's custom game options. Mainly because, recently I have delved myself back into Halo: Reach for its custom games; and getting in a few enjoyable, laughable and just great games. Although, I did always find Reach's custom games to be a bit less fun. Unlike Halo 3's where I have amassed so many fond memories of playing games like Garbage Man, Speed Halo, Ice Cream Man, and Jenga. The list really doesnt stop there and actually I remember creating some games like Juggerball (you can get the aspect of the gamemode) and Sticky Wars. The thing about my games I created (although somewhat generic) was that they were a lot more creative and they had more options to edit with than in Halo:Reach's. Options like regenerating grenades and scoring settings for objective based gamemodes. (Ex: you only get points by getting kills with an oddball.) All I'm trying to get at is that I'd like to know your thoughts and opinions on what Halo 4 Customs will be all about. And please guys, help a veteran player/fan out and give me some info on the future custom games.

This nifty little thread is intended to help keep you from bans in Halo: Reach. I can only list a few things that will get you banned. If you know of more, post them and I will update the list. I intend to have a full list here on hand to help others avoid bans. AND to keep the would be boosters away from boosting. So far, what is known that can get you any type of ban is: -Being AFK for too long. Usually they will return you to the lobby, but sometimes this results in a Credit Ban. -Spawn Killing another AFK team or spawn trapping, etc. This is serious, the Banhammer can detect spawn killing on AFK players, but forcing others to be spawn killed in CTF, etc sometimes can not. 343 will eventually catch up and will consider it a serious offense when they do. Even a first offense can result in a bad Credit Ban or even worse, such as your account being banned from XboxLive. -Using aimbots and other external utilities to amplify your game is very serious. Even if stealth-patched, they can still Credit-Ban or Matchmaking Ban the account if it is obvious within a theater video that one is being used. Contact would have to be established first to report it, which is unlikely. If not stealth-patched you may get a banned XBOX. -Unplugging your ethernet cord as you earn a challenge to repeatedly earn it will also result in either a Credit Ban, or a Credit Reset. 343 will catch you. -Manipulating the network or lag-switching can be caught as well, unless you have illegally stealth-patched your XBOX. This can result in punishments such as a fine or a full-out XBOX ban. Meaning your XBOX is banned. -Quitting or betraying too much can get you a temporary Matchmaking Ban. So far, that is all I can remember right now. I'm sure there are more that I forgot or haven't learned of yet. That is the purpose of this thread. Essentially you start off with no weapon and are forced to run to a cornucopia which holds a plethora of weapons. The map takes place on the island of Paradiso in forge world. By now im sure that we have all seen halo 4 multiplayer videos on youtube and other places. One thing that stood out to me was the announcers voice. I know that its definately the same guy but he sounds different. In all the halos since CE he has basically sounds the same with just more things he says. I dont like the new sound of him he sounds more exited and faster.I hope they plan on doing some editing on that to make him sound more like he did in all the other halos. Do you like the way he now sounds?

Hey I had this idea about Halo's ranking system that made a lot of sense. And does a great deal of justice to the actual canon of Halo. I posted a thread on The Flood on bungie.net about it: Here's the link to the thread: http://www.bungie.ne...iewreplies=true But here is the premise of my argument: The ranks for the multiplayer system for Halo's mulitplayer should have been Naval since Halo 3. But they weren't, they were a mix of Army/Marine ranks with the only Navy rank being "Commander". However it seems as if the ranking system for multiplayer isn't even following the ranking system of Halo's UNSC canon in the first place. Spartans are technically Navy right? Created under the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), part of the NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND. I am mean why else would Halo's main bad ass be called a "Master Chief?" Here's the ranks for the UNSC Navy: http://halo.wikia.co...Navy#Navy_Ranks Here's what proves the Spartans are part of the Navy under the Navy Special Warfare Command: http://halo.wikia.co...2FNavSpecWep.29 So if 343i decides my idea is valid, I think the option I mentioned in my flood thread should be considered. "Another option they should add is whether a player would want to stay enlisted or become an officer. And have pros & cons for both choices." "Maybe something like enlisted are better fighters, officers get better equipment, or probably have some aesthetic differences at the least. Besides what Halo fan wouldn't want to have their rank be Master Chief." Also as a disclaimer, I am an enlisted member of the United States Navy. And as a Sailor I would rather see my 7ft. tall juggernaut Spartan who is suppose to be Navy have the correct ranking system.
