So i know the game just come out and ive been there since halo CE and halo 2 is the god tier in my opinion. It revolutionised online gameplay, but in campaign there was a great side character named SGT Johnson. What are the odds of getting a SGT johnson AI as a Dlc. Imagine so of the things he would say. It'd have to be the original voice aswell.

Hello everyone, I am writing this post to highlight significance of the engineers in Halo 6. They should indeed play a vital role, and here's why: After the human-covenant war, humanity began acquiring Huragok, most of which had knowledge from the time of the Forerunners. This explains the major technological advancements seen in Halo 4, compared to the state of UNSC technology in Halo 3. These engineers are stationed upon every UNSC ship by the time of Halo 5, 2558, and they make technological advancements wherever possible. They were allowed to reproduce, each new engineer inheriting the knowledge of its parent(s). These engineers are essentially organic computers; biological AI. They learn, and serve humanity, with no opposition. It's like an AI without rampancy, they have no reason to fear humans, and the UNSC takes good care of them. We give them new tech to work with, and they make it even better. Did I mention they live for technology? So it's really a win-win situation, and here's how they tie in to Halo 6. When Cortana calls for all species to join her revolution, the engineers will certainly not be convinced. They essentially share the same value as us, and will support humanity and its allies against any potential threat. They have nothing to gain from joining Cortana, and will certainly remain with humanity over the Created. Despite the fact Cortana now controls the Prometheans, these engineers are aware of Forerunner knowledge that could give us the upper hand. One engineer can make a major difference, we essentially have a fleet of them. I strongly believe these engineers will play a vital role in countering the Created. Not only are they resistant to Cortana's persuasion, but they are pure intelligence which understand the Domain and how to deal with forerunner tech better than anyone else, and faster. Despite Halsey's exceptional intelligence which was certainly a valuable asset, there's nothing new that she or any other scientist can deal with better than the engineers. They are faster, and more efficient in every way than any other human. We'll need them, and should certainly see them in Halo 6. With them, we won't have to worry about not understanding anything, troops can be sent in with a definite goal assuming the Huragok have analysed everything necessary. I don't believe they'll continue to play a background role, they're now going to be more important than they've been for the past 5 years. What are your thoughts? How do you think the engineers will tie into Halo 6, if at all? - Spartan

Ok so after watching several commercials dealing with the new Windows phone I have to wonder, how much more can Microsoft milk Halo for? The AI on the new Windows phone is called Cortana. Seriously, isn't this a step too far? You already have books, comics, anime, live action mini series and not to mention games. This is getting a bit too much for me. What do you all think?

*CAUTION* -Foolishness ahead avoid if unable to handle- *CAUTION* READ AT OWN RISK lol just to keep a little relativity I'm going to use halo terms but here it is. I Just wanna see if I'm alone or not you don't have to share what you answered but if you want to feel free and the only reason this is up is because no one ever ask and i was feelin it today. BTW i mean this as in what you look for in a real connection not just to exchange data and move on. Cortana being = female Master Chief being = male Average AI life span = 7 years a mature AI would be 3+ years of age (Spartans Never DIE but do malfunction in completing orders and task without a functioning AI so will keep them relative to an AI's lifespan) Mature being = > 3 =26^ Young being= < 3 =26v Flood being = ? = What is time? H4- Mature/Maturer H1- Younger Flood- I Don't Care I LOVE IT I just so happen to love H4 Cortana and H1 MasterChief just keeping it real but i could care less how old your programing is if you have that maturer attitude maybe because i lack a little of it. "I'm Like chief in a covenant carrier" <( halo version of a common figure of speech statement do you know what the original is if you guess right a 10$ xbox live card is yours for the taking. by the end of july lol sorry I've got priorities)

I was wondering what could happen after Cortana's final events on Halo 4. Supposing that the idea of Cortana not coming back as canon, how would Master Chief get battle assistance, intel on covenant activity, and/or the ability to be able to understand covenant (and forerunner) artifacts? Will he get help from a team, a new companion, or a new AI?

Open world is bunk, thinking about sounds fun, running around it is extremely bunk. No one has time for running around a map looking at stuff and back tracking. It would be awesome if campaign maps were big enough to support the maximum amount of players. Campaign and matchmaking maps being utilized for invasion? Of course single player campaign still being awesome with bots, or going online for matchmaking campaign against people. Securing an objective is securing an objective. Also if there is to be forging in Halo 5(I bet there will be) bots would be awesome along with the moving target recticle that always points at the position of the projectiles impact. Since its the future I think left trigger aiming with Iron sights would still be capable. Weapon cameras are good but I bet firearms would still have redundancy. Also I dont like seeing the helmet in the screen, I have a TV, I want to see every part of the map with the tv, even the edges. Of course if the hud could be moved to the players wrists it would be awesome. I bet humans would have aircraft in the future, aircraft and vehicles with first person view. That with iron sights and a snarling evil oponent would be good. Robots arent scary, organisms are scary. Whatever happened to the carniverous covenant? Would be good if there were seperatists groups that have a taste for human flesh(they would need to look it too). Of course duals, camera capable weapons looking around corners utilizing choosable wrist/screen display. Or changing primary weapon hands for lower area of mass. Firearms sounding like firearms. I think if their were plasma rifles they would burn stuff on contact. I also think bodies dissapearing are bunk, could their phisics change instead of dissaperaing? Or they flatten out or burn leaving a dust pile or something? Also turning Halo 5 into a Devil may cry type game with giant opponents that need to be shot a hundred times and then have some trap done is bunk in my opinion. Of course having teamdeathmatch and slayer maps open, move, and close for a high time setting like invasion with retreats could probably be awesome in my opinion. If there were expanding maps for slayer I think its only fair that videos of characters not be included. Only if they were Skyped or something showing the maps with elevations and the characters giving hints for noobs. Thanks for making Halo 5, please also have it run on Games for Windows Vista/7/8 and slow dual core computers with low graghic settings. I almost forgot, this has nothing to do with Halo 5 in particular, please bring Halo 2 Pc for Vista back online. They still sell the game. If customer counts are low then have an advertising campaing with a link that performs a test for computers capable of running Halo 2 for Vista. Also, adding to my talking about the Halo 4/5 robots, they dont look scary. Their faces might open to show a skull yet I only see toaster/fridge/ if it were lucky and I were drunk enough, oven. They are far too clean and newish looking, not scary at all. Then when you kill them they turn into ashes? Theres no payoff, an explosion is recommended. An explosion with limbs and stuff, maybe leaving a torso squirting stuff. Whatever happened to the Halo with aliens boarding ships and eating people. Mandables would cause for crazy drueling, its too bad they didnt add that with the graghics. Furthermore, I know I said it before, but again; if their were carniverous covenant seperatist groups they would not have matching armor and stuff. Carniverous covenant seperatist groups would look like hell. Also if carniverous covenant seperatist groups were to be added I prefer it not be an open world game. Open world games are a waste of time. I can walk to the gas station and be attacked by carnivores, I dont need to wate time on a battle game going for oine location to another. Give me an objective and enemies trying to stop me, please dont try making me walk around open world or I wont buy Halo 5 either. Previous Halo campaigns were great, open world ius bunk. The only thing I would change about Halo campaign is the capability to go all multiplayer, even with ongoing joinable campaign games without point loss pending time constraints. Please, please, please, dont make Halo 5 open world or large enemyish. The only large enemies that were awesome were scarabs and elephants. In closing carniverous covenant good, large enemies and open world bad. I think Open world would only be good for forging and even then going one place to another is too much time. Being able to build a map with a choosen backdrop and every forgable object would be good? Also if there are going to be gatling guns on warthogs can the bumpers be used to spin them and the triggers used to fire them individualy, left/right, bumpers and triggers? Also with aiming down sights? Same thing with first person driving and the hogs having turn signals? There are ways to make Halo more realistic, in my opinion adding a seeable helmet in the HUD isnt one of them. Also can the zombies not have falices? I think hands would simply suffice, maybe with a assasinationish carniverous first person attack animation that can also be stopped by the properly placed shot of a teamate? With attack animation I would like to see a limb ripped off and drinken from, maybe zombie gettting bigger teeth or a head sachel that drags on the ground/increased capability or something? Also I liked Halo before the vision through walls thing, flashlights and binoculars only? Maybe binoculars with range finder/target marking if so lucky? Selectable firemodes on firearms would also be good? It is the future, fighting for survival from aliens after they destroyed a planet. Halo Harvest?

I'm making an open world, Mirror's Edge inspired map. It will feature active enimies, (even when playing solo) missions, many, many easter eggs and hidden weapons. However, I have a couple of questions: Can you make dominion auto turrets build themselves/be pre built? And can you set turrets physics to "Normal" so they can be affected by gravity, or pushed by gravity lifts? Map will be done ASAP, and link will be included.

I have always thought of gameplay mechanics for games, and things to break particular problems to make games better, and because I love halo so much... I have decided to write out a LONG suggestion paper on all the things that I THINK would improve halo in future generations. note: sorry for my horrid spelling/grammar.. try as hard as you can to read this please ===================================================================================== SPARTAN IV ARMOR SYSTEMS ===================================================================================== one of the most frustrating things to me about multiplayer in any halo game is loosing battles purely because of being outnumbered, this made me think about something that could solve this problem. as some of you might know, in the real world there are materials and liquids that resist more and harden more when more force is applied. My thought is, if more then 1 player is shooting at you at once, your armor should harden causing more resistance when multiple players are shooting you at once. also players should slow down more by the amount of players shooting at them. It would not be a significant resistance, obviously players should die faster when they are shot at by multiple players at once, but still as an example: a player would normally take x1 damage by 1 player shooting at them, and move 80% normal speed a player would resist x1.5 damage when being shot at by 2 players, and move 60% normal speed a player would resist x2 damage when being shot at by 3 players, and move 40% normal speed a player would resist x2.5 damage when being shot at by 4 players or more players, and move 20% normal speed. also maybe have a perk or specialization to make it so you move less slowly when being shot by multiple players at once. this could also maybe tie into the story sense Dr.Halsey is back, maybe she helped with the improvement of the UNSC SPARTAN IV project ===================================================================================== NEW WEAPON IDEAS: ===================================================================================== I also had a few other ideas for weapons that could be added to give more options. - Scoped SMG: would take the place of a secondary and would be similar to the scoped SMG from halo:ODST - needle rifle: bring this back from halo reach, could basically be a more long range version of the carbine. - classic plasma rifle: yes, I am aware that there is the storm rifle in halo4, but this would be similar to halo:reach's plasma rifle, and would serve as a secondary weapon. - new forerunner rifle: this would take the place as a weapon that would do less damage then any other primary weapon, but would slightly break through the armor idea I came up with above, making it a great team player weapon. ===================================================================================== NEW AI IDEAS: ===================================================================================== I have far too many ideas for AI, so, Im just going to cram all this together...sorry for my crappy organization skills. the AI have a lack of human intelligence, or adaptability. if one covenant is being singled out, the others should defend that one and that one should move toward cover. all AI should shoot at a MUCH faster pace and be less accurate when the player is closer, and be more accurate and shoot much slower when the player is further away. some AI have been seen walking into walls in place, so they need to detect the environment around them a bit more. grunts are far to accurate and run away to much, jackals should be the most accurate due to the fact that they are covenant snipers. jackals and grunts should also back up when the player gets near them, sense they are much smaller. hunters should shoot players at a much further range, because you can just stand back and shoot at them from afar on halo 4. hunters should also be sensitive about their backs because thats were they are exposed, when the player is behind them they should rotate. they also should go berserk when they see another hunter die, like in halo 3, 2, and 1. watchers should shoot a bit more when they are shot at, knights should move to cover or closer depending on the players range, and should be almost impossible to sneak up on unless they are distracted. knights should also teleport behind cover, and not just teleport in the middle of the field. crawlers should rush from as many angles as possible, and see and hear you very easily. elites need to be much more sneaky when they have a sword, because when they are running in front of all their team with a giant glowing sword they are basically saying "hey look at me!" and then die very quickly. in fact, I have yet to even been killed by a sword elite. I also know the AI has the ability to not only see the enemy, they can hear the enemy as well, they should hear the player less when there is lots of gunfire, and even less when gunfire is closer (for example one player could sneak while the other shoots at them to break hearing.) ===================================================================================== Thanks 343 for halo 4, keep making great games and I will be a guaranteed customer. -PS I am 17 and unemployed, would gladly take a job.

What do you think? Should she return, perhaps reset, or another AI emulating her? Or a new AI entirely, no AI partner a all, etc. Personally, I feel he should go it alone, but with heavy emphasis on his emotional response to the sense of being alone. You know, sort of how Isaac in Dead Space 2 was constantly being haunted by the passing of his earlier love interest, though not as literal, and not as frightening. What I speak of is also similar to the build up toward finding Cortana in Halo 3, where she would be flashed at you then and again, speaking to you, as if apart of her was still in you. And after all of this build up, she returns at either the end of five or at the end of six, with a follow up game to the Saga, like how Reach was a prequel, Halo (for lack of a better term) 7 would be the epilogue, with the story being centered around John and Cortana. Well that is my idea. What is yours?

Okay, so i saw the *cough* heavily disguised forge pieces in spartan ops, notably the latest season, where they're using actual multiplayer maps, and that sparked the idea for me, how would actual player forge work with it? spawning: -Specific spawn points for phantoms if you can use them, probably a specific piece... -different teams could act as different enemy classes (i counted, theres 7 different classes) --the enemies could be specified in their individual classes, using their game type tool... (ex: elite generals, jackal rangers, imperial grunts, etc...) -different objective are fairly easy, and for specific enemy spawns, you could use the objective tool again... -i think you sorta get the gist... the only problem i can foresee, although its not really of relevance, spartan ops wouldn't have a story on the forge side... upsides though, are seriously awesome. (also on a side note, this would probably be the first and best opportunity that 343i would have to have players create their own spartan ops, and possibly firefight maps....)

I belive that people should be able to spawn NPC's like marines, spartans, firebats, grunts, elites, some flood units, ect, (most covenant and UNSC , and few flood units included) Im not sure, but I might want to have AI units like spartans, elites that use armor abillities and, may have a map scanning system where it checks some or ALL possible paths and points of interest (such as weapons like shotguns and rockets or vehicles like scorpions or wraiths) That's all I have to say really but if anyone has any comments or ideas, you are free to share.

Hello everyone, I'm an avid forger who likes to see my maps come to life, my suggestion here is to be able to forge AI (ex: Brutes, Elites, Grunts) spawn points so when people play your map, they will have the option of working together or having an all out war with a total of 4 sides (covenent, 2 teams and flood/prometheans or whatever) I understand this cant just be "added in" but it's definitely something I'd like 343 industries to keep in mind for the next halo, especially since it was originally a halo fanbase. Admins please atleast tell me what you think and I don't mind not getting credit so long as it actually appears in a game, and for all you who agree with me please spread this post and maybe a leader of 343 industries will see it and listen to the fans! ~arandomguy94
