  1. Assassins Creed IV Black Flag will not only be bringing back the classic style game play that die hard 'Creed' fans love, but also a new feature that will offer players a whole new way to explore the environment around them. The new underwater swimming experience opens up a vast area for the player to explore and find treasure, upgrades for their ship and other hidden items. You will have the same type of free roam ability under the oceans, seas and lagoons that you find on land except that here you will have no weapons for defense. This means when you encounter sharks, jelly fish, manta rays and various other dangerous sea creatures you must use the environment and stealth to avoid attacks and elude predators because you are the prey underwater. The new experience will allow you to traverse the entire oceans, if you choose, underwater. The one catch is that you need to be wary of your air supply. When diving close to your ship the crew will provide an air bell for use, but in more distant locations you will have to seek out air pockets under rock shelves and in caves. There will be a diverse underwater environment that features ship wrecks, coral reefs, under water caves, lagoons and trenches that are carpeted with lush seaweed beds, sand, clams and filled with all manner of underwater life. In an video interview with producer Arnaud Vaudour, Tom Bramwell of eurogamer.net discusses the new addition of under water exploration in Assassins Creed IV Black Flag.
