Those of you who pre-order Crysis 3 will receive a free downloadable copy of Crysis for free. Read below for more details. Source: Computerandvideogames.com Pre-ordering the new shooter will get you a code which you can use to redeem the 2007 original as a digital download via PSN for PS3, Xbox Live for Xbox or Origin for PC. The press release says the offer will only be open "while supplies last at participating retailers", but doesn't detail which retailers are participating. More details below Source: Examiner In an interview with VideoGamer on Tuesday, Cevat Yerli talked a little bit about the graphics of the upcoming multiplatform title, “Crysis 3.” The CEO of Crytek boasts that no other Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 video game, not even “Halo” or “Gears of War,” look as good technically as the first-person shooter on consoles. "No game will ever look technically better than Crysis 3 on these consoles, flat out. Most games are not even anywhere near Crysis 2 technically. I'm not talking about art style – art is subjective – but the pure fact of what we have been cramming in with Crysis 2 on Xbox [360] and PlayStation [3], I've yet to see a game do that still today. Any day I will take a battle against Gears and Halo, whatever, the amount of data we put in and the detail level is far superior. With Crysis 3 we're pushing that to another level, but the PC is just two levels beyond." Gamertag: Robius5991 Map: Purgatory Gametype: Hunter Description: This map was originally my submission to the Meet Your Maker contest, but it has since been changed to work with flood and my own variant; "Hunter", among others. The map is a re-imagination of the Crysis 3 map entitled "Airport", and I did my best to mimic the multiplayer gametype "Hunter" which has the flood with poor camo and modified health/speed, against the armed humans, representing the CELL troops. The map boasts awesome aesthetics and thrilling gameplay that the majority of my testers have greatly enjoyed! EA has released a Crysis 3 multiplayer introduction video. This trailer shows off Crytek's graphics and just some in game footage. Nothing special but still good for a trailer. Available platforms are: Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
