Hello everyone, welcome to the Weekly News Wrap-Up this week! Glad to see ya'll, have a seat and enjoy. Snacks and refreshments will be offered in the lobby! Again, sit back, relax, and have a good time! Dark Souls II is 1080p and 60fps on PS4 Remaster! (GameStop.com) If you're like me, and you skipped out on Dark Souls II last year, you're probably a bit excited to get your hands on the Current Gen version of the game. It has been revealed by the developers that the remaster will run at 1080p/60fps on PS4. The Xbox One's resolution is still unknown to this date, but we do know the update is quite a bit better than it's Xbox 360 and PS3 counterpart, which ran at 720p/30fps. The Scholar of the First Sin bundle, which releases on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and the last generation will include the game's previous DLC content, as well as more unannounced details. The game will cost $60 and will release on April 7th. Destiny Gets Weapon Tunes - Pulse Rifles, Fusion Rifles, etc. (Bungie.net) Destiny has some great weapon mechanics, with the exception of a few guns being under-powered and OP in some areas, and it seems Bungie is now working to fix that. A new update is coming that will change some weapons in the game involving core mechanics and combat functions. The main issue is with Pulse Rifles, which are the most under-appreciated guns in the game due to their blatant disabilities in combat. Bungie will be increasing their damage by 9.7% and... That's it. But you could be sure Auto-Rifles and Fusion Rifles were getting damage nerfs, being knocked down to about 2.5% on the Auto Rifle side of things. Fusion Rifles will now have a wider burst spread, meaning now less of your shots will actually hit your intended target. Hand Cannons will be slightly touched up on the subject of range as to not be getting kills from halfway across the map, and Shotguns had a nerf on the PvP side but a slight buff on the PvE side. And Shotguns and Fusion Rifles will now spawn with less ammunition in the Crucible, meaning get the ammo hunt fired. The Crew Gets Fixes and Addtions! (IGN.com) The newest racing title coming from Ubisoft, The Crew, will be receiving a few patches as well to change some things around. Some side tweaks are ones like the frame-rate being improved while looking through your car's first person window, and other things of that matter. The game will get a new PvP race mode and 4 additional faction missions for no charge. As far as online fixes go, PvP lobbying as a whole is being improved and bugs have been fixed that made co-op a chore. UI bugs when attaching certain car parts, AI behavior (particularly from the Police), and some car handling and speed issues have been fixed as well. There are other minute changes that will be made to car design, but nothing notable that you'll be able to see. If you want the full list, head on over to the link. In Other News: Halo 5 Beta Feedback Improvements! (343i.org) I for one loved the Halo 5 Beta but felt a few details could be changed, and it seems I wasn't alone, but as Selfie Destruct has reported, 343i is listening to feedback from US, the fans! They released some new awesome statistics about the Beta, like the fact that there were over 1 million individual IDs, which surpassed Halo 3's Beta in the Summer before it's release. As well, they showed that the final product will have a few differences. The big one is that you can turn off ALL spartan abilities in Custom Games, as well as some weapon tuning and spartan chatter options. All of this and more can be read in his article above! Staff Highlights: Weekly YouTube Highlights! (343i.org) Do you love YouTube? Don't lie, of course you do. Well, either way, if you click the link above, you will be taken to a sweet compilation of all of OUR recent videos, such as the Podcasts, of which I was delighted to be a Special Guest on one, and a few other gaming highlights from recent events. Go check it out, you'll have a blast! IT'S 11:59 AM AS I WRITE THIS I AM NOT LATE. BYE.
