The map is inspired by the Mount Doom mission from Lord of the Rings: Conquest, of course with more than a few differences to help improve the map's flow to better fit Halo 4's pace. Set in Orbit, the map would have a heavy Human/Promethean theme being a human installation designed around this Forerunner Foundry which is still running after this entire time. The point of the map is to add a new flavor to Halo 4 Multiplayer it doesn't have just yet. I've studied the layout extensively and I believe I can remake it... in theory. I don't have Halo 4 right now so I can't experiment really. Here's a with some gameplay on this mission. The question I'm asking you guys, is can it be done?

This has been around my mind for a while so I decided to share it here. It would be like normal Invasion (capture territories, destroy targets etc.) BUT, one major difference is that you play as ANY character of the side you are. For example, if you are on the Human side, you would randomly spawn as a low-ranked marine, an advanced marine with more armor, maybe ODST, and Spartan. And for the Covenant, grunt, jackal, elite etc. Or maybe even Prometheans would be awesome too! Imagine an Invasion match: Human vs Covenant vs Prometheans vs Flood! That would be incredible for us to see/play! Like the Humans defending their base form the Covenant and the Flood trying to sabotage or kill everyone, while Prometheans try to stop them! Now for the balancing part, players have 1~3 loadouts to choose, depending on their rank. I know that the only problem is the game balance, the gametype would work well, I believe. Post your thoughts or your ideas

Ok so I must have overlooked some information and linked some things in my mind that weren't accurate because when I played through Halo 4's campaign I was very confused by the time it ended. I would like to say I have complaints and questions about everything in the story but I'm only going to focus on the one unconfirmed subject for me at least, that being The Forerunners. Throughout the games and books the forerunners are said to have been a race of super advanced beings who expanded across the galaxy, then in an effort to destroy the flood they killed themselves and all sentient life. But they had libraries of samples belonging to all sentient life in secure areas so they could be distributed back after the Halo's were activated, restarting sentient life from where it left off. So I'm going to jump right in with my opinion here. Until I played Halo 4 I always assumed the forerunners were in fact humans. Hence why the Prophets referred to them as Humanity's forefathers, why Guilty Spark calls humans Reclaimers, why only humans can use (and instinctively know how to use) important forerunner controls. But as it happens I was wrong and the Forerunners are simply confused aliens. You may be wondering why I said "confused" aliens, well my friend I can only assume they were confused. Or at the very least their thought processes are very different to that of a human. Let me explain. Why when they wiped out all sentient life did they clone all the species, excluding themselves. Did the forerunners decide their species had been around for long enough? Did they simply forget to add their own samples to the libraries? For whatever reason when they fired the Halo arrays the forerunners decided that they weren't worth having around any more. That's one reason why i thought they were humans, because we were a result of their gene samples that were plonked on Earth after the Halo's were fired. But what confuses me most according to 343's cannon, they were at war with humans. So before they all died they made sure that their mortal enemies could rise back up to their former glory and use all the forerunner technology. I may have missed something but to me that makes little to no sense at all. Which brings me on to humans. Where's all the ancient human stuff then? Over the years humanity has discovered Forerunner artifacts, robots, planets, stations and weapons. Yet not a single human space chair has been discovered. There is no evidence anywhere that anything besides the forerunners existed before the events of Halo. But apparently Humans were not only a living species they were also a galactic nation large and advanced enough to stand against the forerunners. So where are their planets? Their robots? their Artifacts? Or did the ancient humans just have an identical taste in architecture and engineering as the forerunners? As I've said I must have gotten the wrong end of the stick or something because I've always felt that Halo had been subtly hinting that humans and forerunners were the same. But maybe I'm wrong and they've always been shaved brutes with jedi force powers. But if someone could weigh in and explain what I've missed I would appreciate it! And another thing when did every one find out that forerunner's name was "Didact"? I swear he never mentioned it to Cortana and Chief when he was evily monologue-ing

One of the coolest things in Halo 3 was in my opinion the fact that humans and elites were fighting side-by-side, does anyone know how that alliance ended?

Gamertag: coolnate234 Map: Human Cannon Gametype: Basic Editing on Forge This map isn't very aesthetic, but more mechanical. I don't know how you could turn this into a minigame so that is why I posted it in the aesthetic section. When I saw Darth Human's map "Light Speed", I thought: "What if I turned that teleporter sideways?" After playing around a bit, I finally threw together a base for the player to land in and survive! Just don’t walk around during your flight. Pictures: Flying out of the "mac gun" Coming in for a landing Another view of the Frigate The base that you land in

Alright everyone. This thread is meant to more or less sum up the 3 main factions in Halo 4(Humans,Covenant,Forerunners) for you to know what we`re up against. Starting with Humanity..... Humanity have fought with eachother for centuries bring themselves through many different conflicts and cercumstances. Before the arrival of the Covenant;the U.NS.C was at war with the Insurrection (basically the Halo version of modern day terrorists). This conflict lead to the creation of the SPARTAN program lead by Dr.Halsey.This gives Hummanity a signifigant edge in battle as Spartans are basically bred for combat. They have multiple augmentations that improve their combat effectiveness beyond that of a regular Human.Combined with the Mjlnor(I thinks thats how you spell it...) armor they can prove a near unstoppable adversary in combat.Adding to the U.N.S.C`s record is their 30 year long conflict with The Covenant. The Covenants brutal campaign pushed humanity to its very limits. However,it also lead to many advancements. The Covenants advanced techology could be reverse engineered for U.N.S.C use and proved very useful in many later projects such as the UNSC Infinity. The war with the Covenant also brought Humanity to the attention of the Forerunners (though some artifacts had been found prior to the conflict) and lead to huge advancement in technology after the war. Humans can also access some Forerunnner technology; a trait that may prove useful in the Halo 4 conflict. I think thats about it for part one. Thanks for reading and try and pardon any mistakes in my grammar if you can!
