I've wanted to ask Lorraine(rob's wife) about some art stuff involving Oni and halo.

343 released a new video on their YouTube Channel regarding the episodic mini series Halo: Nightfall. So without further ado let's watch: Summary of info: Locke is the Commander of a special forces unit of ONI operatives. We hear that he already has (some) Spartan qualities, and his character will go through a decent amount of change from the beginning of the series to it's end, forming his character for Halo 5. We also see that the Covenant will play some sort of role as a Spirit drop ship and a few Elites are seen. The thing that really catches my eye is at 1:18 in the video, you see a mass of smaller life forms forming a silhouette of a human being, before breaking off each from each other and scuttling down the hill. At first glance I believed them to be flood infection forms, but whatever this is is much smaller then that. It is a high unknown. So what do you believe this life form to be? Throughout the Halo saga, humanity has been plagued with deadly foes. First it was the Flood; then the Insurrectionists (Innies); then the Covenant; and most recently the Prometheans. So I ask you: Which was your favorite, which wasn't, and which would work best in Halo 5? Feel free add ideas for entirely new reasons, or support your own opinion of which is the best/worst. Thanks for all the support in the previous Volume; here's to many future Volumes to come!

I'm a bit confused on what ONI actually is and I was wondering if someone who really knows a lot about Halo could explain it to me. I understand some things about ONI, but I don't comprehend what ONI's actual purpose is. Thanks in advance for you guys' help.

I expect ONI to be on that shield world in Halo 4. I suspect ONI is on it, considering they know and do alot more than anyone else knows, hence the reason on Halo legends Cortana knows about the forerunners and shield world.....the only way she would have known about that is through data we have already collected on it. And besides......how other would you manage to find human weapons? Halo isn't Halo without it's weapons you know. Another possibility is if it were the spirit of fire, considering they were stranded in space. I'm sure it carries a lot of weapons, and Spartan Red team would make good team mates, would you agree? They also have Serina, which may play a decent part in the story considering that Cortana is becoming corrupted like most AIs.
