The next game in the Halo series will be led by Timothy Longo, who had previously worked as the creative director of games such as the Tomb Raider reboot and Star Wars: Republic Commando. Longo had also been working on an unannounced Star Wars first-person shooter just before LucasArts was disbanded and the property was purchased by Disney. Longo has joined the team behind the next Halo game as creative director, alongside franchise director and executive producer Josh Holmes at 343 Industries. Outside of a teaser trailer released at E3 earlier this year, details about the next Halo game have been scarce. So far, what we know is that it'll again be developed by 343 Industries, run on a new engine at 60 frames per second on the Xbox One, and will be out in 2014. SOURCE:IGN

Hello everybody, before I continue I would like to wish everyone a happy new year! On the the business, I have this project in mind, a fictional space magazine! The name is Pixelated Space, it is a space magazine which has news based off of games which take place in space or are space related (like Halo... duh...). The plan is to have 5 sections, each section for a specific game, that section includes from commercials (Obviously fan made, no actual commercials) to fictional stories based off of an event that happened in the game or a character from a game to reviews. Most of the magazine will be fictional and written by the community, but there will be possibly one section dedicated to actual cool space news! So it will not be entirely fictional. I'm looking for digital artists possibly a few sketch artists and writers or really anyone who wants to make some sort of written contribution. The 3 games that are set in stone at least for the first issue are HALO, STARBOUND and STAR CITIZEN! Here is a picture of the front cover for the first issue, the topics are not set in stone! http://imgur.com/gallery/H7CmG/new Leave some feedback or directly contact me through here or through email [email protected] THANK YOU!

Hello Ladies, Gentlemen, Spartans and off world species. My Name is Scotty. After years of watching RVB, and other similar Machinima Based videos and feature lengths, i have taken it upon myself to become more involved within the making of Machinima. With this said. i am looking to bring together a group of people who have similar interest's in machinima, voice acting and of course Halo. I would like to start small, making videos of a spoof nature similar to RVB. Then move onto more intrinsic videos, such as the later Red Vs Blue series. These videos will be comedy related in nature for the most part. But also with a mix of serious nature about them as well. Not only this, but i would like to push to podcast and other material if the opportunity arises. I have a HD PVR recorder already at my end, other graphic's recorders on your part + Mic's would be an advantage and appreciated, but not 100% required. The material will not solely be written by myself, and i would like to give budding writers the chance to script the episodes as well. This is to be a group effort, and not something over seen and run by just me. If you have no experience with machinima, its not a problem either. It's all part of the learning and fun aspect. If you wish to help start this new project from the ground up, please get in touch. At present we have no name, and no episodes scripted. So as i said before, this is a start up project. It will be you, me and the entire group pushing to write and produce these episodes for internet distribution. If this interests you, in anyway please get in contact. I am currently UK based, but there is no restriction on locations throughout the globe. Age on the other hand, this is up for a group debate. Due to the nature of potential scripts and episodes, i would like a mature, 'and by that i just mean over 18' perspective. But don't let this deter you from getting in contact. You never know, the answer might be yes. Cheers Guys. Girls. and everyone else. -Scotty-

Hello my fellow forgers and anyone else out there who stumbled upon this topic, I have had an idea I have Ben gathering resources for for a long time now, and it is time to unveil it, Halo: Battlefront. This is going to be a reboot of Star Wars: Battlefront 2 within Halo 4. I know there are a lot of people out there who loved Star Wars: Battlefront 2 as much as I did, and were crushed by the fact that it was abandoned a speculated 60% or more into completion do to the fall of Lucas Arts, So I have taken it upon myself to try to get together a team if experienced forgers to make this happen, I have the Gametype ready to go, all that needs to be done now, is the maps, I need a series of modded maps. My first project I am going to undertake in this, is the Jedi Temple, I am going to need about 100 dominion base stripes to create the holo book cases in the library, if there is a way to get the holographic table in impact over to forge world, that would be awesome, I also need about another 100 or so block 4x4 flats at make this happen. I also need a team of at least 5 other experienced forgers who can memorize a map layout and have a passion far making this happen, to make this happen, the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 game mode is in the dominion game mode, allowing me to fully exploit the game to its fullest potential. Please guys, lets make this happen. So to catigorise all of this an give a proper list, here is what I need, and what my goals are. NEEDS: -Modded forge Island with 100 dominion base stripes, 100 block 4x4 flat, 50 Circular Ramp small -5 experienced forgers with a passion for Forging and Star Wars battlefront 2, Good memory, and ability to listen and get things done -People experienced with modding game types for further tweaking -Many Beta testers when the maps are ready -floor plans of all of the SW:BF2 maps (Google sketchup optional) -patience as this will definitely take months to perfect Goals: -to rebirth Star Wars: Battlefront 2 -to provide the halo community with a fun, interactive game type -to revolutionize Halo 4's multiplayer -to create a smooth gameplay experience that I well balanced and well designed

Hi ya'll. I have an honors project that I need help/ opinions on. This is somewhat confusing, but if you could live on the moon tomorrow what is one, YES ONE thing that you would NEED. It has to be an object. But everything such as oxygen, food, housing, clothes are provided. Now make this personal what would you personally die without, your computer, your iPod, your frisbee, your dog, or even hair products. Anything. Please leave your answer, where you are from and your age if you feel comfortable. Ask a question if you don't understand. Thank you in advance.
